I have used a great moving crew 3 different times and they have been courteous, reliable and wonderful every time. Moving has always been so stressful to get everything packed up, moved and settled. Phil helps answer a lot of the questions and relieves so much of the anxiety that come from moving. When I moved short distance, I was able to use their moving van, but they are able to pick up and drop off a u-haul truck for you as well! This last time I am moving, I bought a relocation cube and when the cube arrived, I was soooo anxious about being able to fit everything in there. Phil was able to give me directions and help coordinate the move with the relocation cube arriving and Fred and Dorean (my moving crew) were so wonderful and instantly helped relieve my worries. They packed the thing as full as they could! Every moving crew I had has been super accommodating. For in town moves, they used their supplies. For this long distance move, I had to supply the mattress bag and moving blankets, but they used so much of their own supplies too like rope, tape etc! 100% recommend! Call now! read more

When I moved from Portland to Eugene, the movers had a policy of placing boxes in the garage (or storage shed, in this case) for out-of-town moves, and they recommended hiring a local moving company to get the boxes into the appropriate rooms. I found a Great Moving Crew on Yelp and hired them to do just that...and the name of their business is appropriate. I've also called them when I've had heavy furniture delivered and when I needed everything moved out of my library so I can redo the floor. These guys are the best. I had a difficult move as a single mom, and Phil the owner gave great service and spent a lot of time helping me with details to help the move go smoother. Brandon and Jeremy were great to work with and great movers. They are very fast and efficient; they finished moving me, loading, driving the truck for an hour, and unloading me by 2:30 in the afternoon. Very satisfied with the timeliness, courtesy, professionalism, and responsiveness in all phases of our move 1. We contacted "A Great Moving Crew" one day before we had to move out 2. Phil said his crew was completely booked, but he'd figure something out & call me back 3. He called back within 5 minutes and said he was sending Andrew and Brian over 4. Andrew called just before arrival to the third floor, one-bedroom apartment 5. They took inventory prior to loading to determine the bulk and proper distribution 6. Andrew and Brian navigated and loaded everything into one 8 ft. x 5 ft. U-Box 7. They were able to get everything but the oversized couch to fit into that U-Box 8. While contemplating my options, Andrew made the perfect suggestion - what a relief! 9. A Great Moving Crew was professional, polite, accommodating, helpful but above all else, these are GENUINELY KIND people!!! We hired them to help us unload two moving trucks, one small UHaul one day and a huge semi-truck another day. They recommended the right number of people for each job, and asked detailed questions about our belongings, so they would have all the tools they'd need to handle it all. The crew quickly, safely and carefully unloaded everything from a refrigerator, washer, dryer, PIANO, couches, (everything a family of 5 + 2 pets needs and doesn't need), to an infinite number of boxes, to a number of odds and ends that were literally thrown onto the pile in the frantic last hours on moving day. My daughter's dresser literally broke in transit (probably because we put a grill on it..ha!) and they FIXED it. A potted plant fell on our piano in the truck, so the owner got a wood staining kit from his truck, color matched our old piano and FIXED it! They somehow fit furniture repair and wood staining into the estimated time to unload an entire family's belongings. Oh did I mention that all of that was brought up to the SECOND and THIRD floors of our house?! And every single person that worked on this crew did it with a smile on their face the whole time. They worked as an expert team while treating you like family. Between the two different days, we worked closely with at least 6 crew members, as well as a new employee on his first training day, and the owner. Each and every person was polite, professional, considerate of us and our belongings, and had such positive attitudes. They even kept us laughing and upbeat through what is usually a grueling process. We are very unorganized movers and had never hired movers before. These guys handled the heaviest delicate furniture for us twice. One move required them to haul a gigantic safe and iron table and other very heavy items up a steep driveway and stairs. What an amazing group of movers! I am blown away by not only the professionalism, but the kindness! My mother needed help moving out of her house in a timely manner and they CAME THROUGH!! They not only packed everything up in less than a few hours but set up the washer, dryer, helped with taking photos of the new rental house, installed the 40 lb mirror onto the wall using anchors proper technique, and so so much more. Fantastic service! Phil is perhaps one of the most cheerful people you will encounter on the phone. Our move was postponed several times and he was always accommodating and pleasant. We used this company to move several months ago across town. They were very professional, friendly and very accommodating to my tight schedule. We had a lot more to move than I had initially described for the estimate (I misjudged) but they were willing to adjust and work several hours more than anticipated. The price was very reasonable. They were very careful with my delicate piano. Nothing was harmed in transit and they were very careful with bringing things in on the wood floor not to scrape anything or even to track in water while it was raining. Wow. This moving company is amazing. The last moving crew I hired didn't have a professional bone in their body. But Shelly and Mark were amazing. They loaded everything beautifully, not a scratch on anything. They also had to climb up and down three flights of stairs in hot weather. They were sweating so much but keep pushing through. Both were very nice. On the way to the new destination they got an address mixed up and it took them a long time to get there, but they were very apologetic and shaved the time off the bill and then some. I originally scheduled Phil and his crew through a moving service provided by U-Haul, but did my research on them through Yelp and a few other sites. Due to unforeseen circumstances, my schedule was changed 3 times. Even when things were busy, they made sure I was scheduled and taken care of. These guys were great! I was convinced by a family member to get a 26ft truck to move my items 2200 miles. I tried to convince them we only needed a 22ft, but they insisted. Phil and crew could have fit it all in a 20ft U-Haul. It would have been snug, but they would have gotten it in there. I wasn't there for the move, but was told they were literally jogging from the storage unit to the truck, and got everything loaded into a really tight pack, in less than 4 hours. After 2200 miles, I was worried there would be a lot of shifting and movement, since there was over 6ft of space at the back of the truck. Almost nothing moved. After another set of movers unloaded the pack, they gave high praise, saying it was done Very Well, and made their jobs easier. They even wanted to make sure I put in a Yelp review for them. I won't be in the area for a while, but if I'm ever back in the area, they are my Go-To movers!! I highly recommend these guys! read more

We're generally not review writers but the moving service we received from AGMC was over the top. They sent two of their best movers, Ben and Jordan. They were punctual, diligent, and professional. Jordan and Ben made moving possessions down three flights of stairs appear routine. For the record we thought: "how is all of this going to be moved out by tomorrow...?" They didn't even blink at the challenge but rather went about completing the task. They reminded us of what is meant by hard work and gratitude- after they moved our possessions into the storage unit 15 minutes away they mentioned if we ever needed a company in the future to clear out the storage and reload the items onto a truck, that we could be their return customers; they would be happy to provide that service.
