First Time Visit was an Excellent Experience…read more I took our Yorkie mix in for a bath and summer cut. They listened to what I wanted and asked about his personality and anxieties. They did a good job for a reasonable price. We'll be returning.

We dropped off one of our rescued Yorkies for her scheduled $65 grooming appointment. The business's posted hours are 8:00 AM-4:00 PM. Apparently, they decided to close early today and called/texted us asking us to pick her up earlier than expected. Unfortunately, we missed the call and text. We called **before their normally posted 4:00 PM closing time**, explained that we were on our way, and went to pick up our little girl. When my wife arrived, however, we were presented with a bill of **$91** and told there was an additional charge because we were "late" picking her up. What bothered us most wasn't even the additional charge--it was the owner's attitude toward my wife. There are professional and courteous ways to handle a misunderstanding with a customer, particularly a returning customer who has trusted you with four of their dogs. Unfortunately, that isn't what we experienced. If a business decides to close earlier than its publicly posted hours, I don't believe a customer should be treated disrespectfully or penalized because they weren't aware of that change and missed a phone call. We have trusted this groomer with our dogs in the past, but after today's experience, **we will not be returning with any of our four dogs.** That's unfortunate, because until today, we had been repeat customers.

When we returned, Mozzie was happy and wanted to stay longer. We've since taken Mozzie back several times. The employees are great, Colleen especially has been a wonderful help and their prices are more than fair. We'll bring Mozzie back to The Pet Spot any tome we are in the area,

I was hospitalized in an emergent health crisis, which caused me to leave my three fur babies alone…read moreat home. Paramedics helped me make sure their their water bowl and food was full. I called the pet spot the following morning seeking a place to board them. Colleen excitedly said, "ME ME ME!" Following my stay in the hospital I went to a local nursing and rehab center here in town. Colleen promised me everything under the sun to allow her to keep them at her home instead of the pet store. Continually she renewed on everything I needed that would keep my life afloat while getting the care I needed. I never ever once mentioned giving my pets to her, purportedly she would only care for them until I could take him home again with me. Concisely speaking, when I was finally released following the special care I needed in order to get on my feet again, I was forced to instigate the care and assistance of the lake City Police department to get them away from her. She also took my car to her home. When I was forced to fire her from the care of my dogs, she had my car towed to a storage facility.. at the cost of $1,500, payable by me. she didn't know how to drive a Mercedes or they didn't know how to tow it properly and it destroyed the transmission.. 3 to 5,000 to repair. Needless to say I sold it instead. She continually slanders and defames my character. Her boyfriend posted on Facebook that I s*** on everyone that tries to help me! She butchered their coat without questioning me regarding cutting their hair.. I was so distraught and grieved, it has taken me several months to get over the trauma of it all. Her cohort Carla knows who stole my coach, my 40 foot Forest River Sierra, which was my home but refuses to give me any information. Colleen would not take care of my banking as she promised she would and I ended up losing my home as a result. Someone stole it before my lien holder could pick it up. As a result of all of the heartache hell shame and disgrace that Colleen overtly caused me I am still living in a hotel with my three four-legged fur babies since since mid January 2025. The only good that came from me trusting Colleen Ayers is the fact that through much heartache and pain with the assistance of League City Police department my little babies are laying in bed with me this morning happily contented and at peace with their mama.. I lost everything except my babies.. simply because I trusted Colleen Ayers. I am a 76-year-old widow here because of a family crisis which has led me into the deepest grief I have ever known in my life. I am an invalid so I am awaiting special housing that will accommodate my health and my fur babies. Please be very careful who you trust. I trusted her and it cost me everything except my babies. But life would be completely empty without them and that is something she just simply could not understand.
