It is a wonderful shop with an ease of browsing. I specifically was looking for bright, wool socks and picked up three pairs. The socks (Paths to the Spirit, fair trade) were an instant hit for me. They are thick, colorful, and incredibly warm: perfect for an Oregon winter. I also found two pairs of Solmate socks on sale. That's a bonus, so I decided to get them, too. The shop was a bit too fragrant for my husband (not synthetic Hallmark store fragrant, however), so he stepped outside for fresh air. Lots of interesting items in this very well-stocked store. I could have browsed more, but my aim was on high-quality socks, so I kept my visit short. They also have wonderful candles, teas, herbs, and jewelry. Check-out was friendly and easy. Super whitewashed with a full plethora of exploited cultures with a side of appropriation. The woman who possibly owns energy was whack and immediately started following me and my kids around. We left because of the awkwardness of it all and not to mention as an indigenous woman it was just not worth being in the space. I don't care if locals love this space, I know the real thing from the new age neo Native American bullshit. After we left quickly because my 8 year old was over it, the owner or worker- came out with her fist clenched and she was like "where is the purse she was holding." I walked back in and said - right there." She said "oh"! I was embarrassed for her; however I feel like she wanted there to be some sort of dramatic scenario. No apology- just accusing my child of stealing and she is probably lowkey racist- monetizing off others cultures. Don't waste your money- go find the deal- the true healers, people genuinely connected to the plants, culture and stay away from this nonsense. read more

Probably my favorite business in Astoria. All the herbs you need, even those hard to find. Wonderful crystal selection including tons of necklaces, rings and jewelery. All kinds of natural sprays, creams and remedies as well as trinkets, cards, grocery shopping bags. I always find things I need, gifts and something I forgot to pack. Highly recommended. read more

After a long day fishing on the Columbia in an all women's fishing contest, "Fish Like a Girl", and only catching two small fish, we went shopping. We happened into your store and I decided what we needed was a good old fashioned white sage cleanse. I bought a big smudge stick and, the next morning, smudged the boat, our guide, my boat mates, the dock... well you get the picture. In this contest, the largest fish, by weight, wins a 17' Willy's drift boat. That day, we won the boat. That day, everyone on our boat caught a fish. Boho, import, apothecary! I love stores like this. Sadly they are becoming few and far between. TONS of stuff to look at, read, smell, wear, etc. Imported items out the wazoo. Incense and oils of every flavor and color. Jewelry, lanterns, books, cards, gifts.....I could spend hours in here. I am sure we were in the store over an hour. On top of all the fun stuff they have for purchase, the store owners are certified herbalist apothecary. There were a few construction workers that dropped by while we were there. They needed help with being exposed to high levels of lead. The friendly informative owners were able to direct them on how to cleanse their systems. Wow! Wow! Wow! This place is AMAZING! Now I don't normally get super excited about places unless I really love a place. This shop is everything and more. They have tons of bulk herbs, oils and incense. Textiles, beautiful figurines, and a section really for everyone. - Buddhism - Witchy - Hippy - Goth -Fairies And more. Jewelry, home decor, books and I mean literally everything you could need or want. I'm 100% in love with this store. The owner and her husband are two gems! Really nice selection of things here. I came in and got some CBD drops for my cat who wasn't doing very well, having seizures and sick. The drops have helped him so much he hasn't had a seizure in over a month down from about once or more a day. Would recommend this place to friends. This is a tough place to accurately describe. It is a gift shop that has all sorts of very cool esoteric and metaphysical items (art, trinkets, incense, books, CDs, Tarot Cards, jewelry, and much more), artwork for every taste, belly dancing clothing and supplies, the best selection of organic loose herbs and teas on the north coast, lots of fair trade goods, unique greeting cards, statuary, clothing and accessories, you name it!! The owner is a very knowledgeable herbalist who is eager to assist with your every herbal need and question. Massive selection of loose herbs (most certified organic), and loose teas that will just blow you away. I thought that I knew a lot about teas and their many varieties, but her selection is just staggering. She also has many cool Asian tea pots and other tea accessories as well. There is so much to see here, that you really just have to come in and look around. Lots of pretty, breakable, shiny things, so not very kid friendly, so be advised. Items for all price ranges and tastes. Very global community conscious. This is where I advise people to come to find that hard to find gift for that hard to buy for person. I guarantee that you will find something here that will fit the bill. Much like Cargo (also in Astoria--see my review) with cool items from all over the globe are from floor to ceiling with very little blank wall space left. I don't live in Astoria, but this store is one of the reasons I keep going back. I had been dealing with gastrointestinal issues after a series of minor car accidents and other stressors. I was always in search of something to help my condition. I popped into this store on a whim and couldn't believe the crazy number of herbal teas and concoctions! I picked up a digestive tonic, brought it home and have found it quite pleasant and helpful. It definitely helped relieve some of my digestive symptoms. Then, I went up again a month later and came across another very interesting root for tea (rhodiola). Another wonderful find. It does exactly what the paper says, helps give energy while relieving stress. I also found some flower essences and essential oils that I couldn't find other places. For example, honeysuckle is one of my favorite scents, but that scent in essential oil is hard to find. But i found it at Gypsy's at a good price too! So now I am able to moisturize with my favorite honeysuckle-scented body oil! Gypsy's has a variety of other products designed for relaxation and physical and spiritual wellness. Candles, soaps, foods, etc. I highly recommend this place no matter what you're looking for. I'm already planning another trip up there (from Portland) to pick up more teas! read more

I only been there once it's like Shangri-La with a bit of interesting. Love the come again word of the wise to all mothers with children. We break it. We cry you break it, you buy there's a lot of fragile stuff in there. So be very careful. It is a very beautiful store where I live we don't have these I'm going to tell my friends about it. This was a fun spot to grab a cup of tea in downtown Astoria. I didn't find anything that I NEEDED to take home, but the selection of metaphysical items was vast and we really enjoyed the tea shop within the trinket shop. Probably a super cool place to spend a rainy afternoon. read more
