I asked her about what I was looking for and she immediately brought me to it (they had two to choose from). She explained the differences to me then left me to decide and explore. I appreciated that she was so helpful but also not pushy or hovering after she answered my question. I explored the rest of the store and even grabbed another tea to try. The store has a lot of teas and spices in various sizes. It was well organized and stocked. They all had various tea and spice related items. When I checked out she told me that if I bring the container back they will refill with any tea and take $3 off the purchase which I thought was great! I will be back to get my chai tea here from now on.

I have to say a lot of their blends smelled really good but I ended up going with their peach blossom herbal tea. I was able to buy a go cup of the brewed tea and some of the tea leaves. The sales associate was so helpful letting us know which teas are similar. She was bright and friendly and offered to help me create a new mix when I mentioned looking for a dupe of a discontinued brand. I definitely recommend if you're a tea lover.

This place specializes in salt, and had popcorn available to try with their seasoning blends! There were also flowers for purchase too, a little bit of everything here honestly. The popcorn was very tasty with the seasoning they had on it! I've never seen so many unique chocolate bars in one space! It was a library of bars instead of books, each section separated by type of chocolate! I ended up purchasing a few of the truffles and one The Meadows chocolate bars that was popular called Bagel Milk chocolate. The truffles were delicious! I would definitely recommend taking a look inside this shop if you're nearby.

They've got a table full of freshly grown flowers, shelves upon shelves of ingredients and pantry staples. And, perhaps most importantly, an entire wall of locally made or direct retail chocolate bars. Staff was kind and when the price rang up for less than what was listed on the tag, they gave the lower option. The goods aren't cheap, but you can tell that thought was put into their curation and sourcing.

We used to use another farm (non-Angus) and the beef just wasn't as tasty and also a lot tougher, regardless of cut. I appreciate that their beef is raised naturally on grass pastures, free from pesticides, hormones, antibiotics and GMO's. I always knew that grass-fed was better for you, but never could really articulate why. Plus, we could not really afford to buy very much in the stores. Their website does an excellent job of explaining the benefits of grass-fed (both for human health and the environment) and, we discovered that buying in bulk lowers our per pound cost significantly from buying it pound-by-pound in the store. I found them by just Googling, "grass fed beef Vancouver Wa" years ago when I was not happy with the farm we were using (which by the way, no longer raises beef). I'm so happy I did.. I believe the owner told us that they had been raising Angus for about 10 years (so, that would be about 12 or 13 now), and that they were really learning how to dial in and get a good result. I can tell you, *whatever* they are doing, it's excellent. I highly recommend using Basket Flat Ranch for your beef. It's awesome to support local farmers too.
