I have been going to Gary since he first started in the building where Timmy's is. Would not even think of going to anyone else. Years ago when I needed to have my moms wedding ring fixed, because it was cut off her finger. The ring was Platinum with a beautiful design cut in. When I picked up the ring and was checking it out I couldn't tell where he added the piece. Not only did he do a beautiful job he cut in the design. My Metal from Italy was so old it was wearing down he added more gold and 20 years later it's still like new. But my most cherished piece of jewelry is my diamond he designed. My husband wanted me to get a new setting and I was happy with the original. He went to Gary told him what he liked and Gary designed it. Without me knowing he had my diamond added to the setting. When my son was looking for an engagement ring, before asking his mother where to go, he went to Long's at the SS Plaza. He left a deposit and told me what he has purchased. I asked for the details and IMMEDIATELY told him "get you deposit back and see Gary at A Jewelers Workshop and see what he can do. He took my advice and was ecstatic that he was able to get a larger stone with a beautiful setting for less $$$, which I knew he would. Gary ordered the stone and had it set in days so my son was able to give to his now fiancee for New Year's Eve 2022. She was over the moon surprised and cried tears of joy at the beauty of her ring. Love dealing with A Jewelers Workshop, so much better than dealing with salespeople at Kays etc that no nothing about jewelry and just want the sales caused they work on commission. You don't get that with the owner of this store, he is so knowledgeable, creative and fair. I went in there with a thought in mind of a sweet sixteen necklace for my daughter, he helped me design it, suggesting that I use her birthstones in it, never would have thought that myself, had it ready for me in less then a week. Very reasonable price considering I was not only paying for the stones but his workmanship and time. She loved it and has gotten many compliments on it. Gary did amazing work on my Twin sisters Necklace and Bracelets bringing them back to life, He also replaced a Diamond in a cluster Ring which looks beautiful. He is honest , because she thought she needed clasps replaced and he explained down the line probably but not right now, so my opinion he's not out for the money or to take advantage of us. read more
