Pediatric Associates ROCKS!…read more Been coming here for about three years with my teenage son in tow since moving to Colorado, and I gotta say this office just keeps getting better and better! Besides the doctors and office staff (front and back) all being incredibly professional, friendly, funny and awesome - there's just a warm and fuzzy feeling you get the minute you walk in. I love how the entire office is laid out...they seriously put a lot of thought into it and didn't miss a thing. They've got a Well, Sick and even a Teen area...not to mention a special room for the privacy of nursing mommies. They have a really nice reading wall for kids and they can actually take a book home to read...return it, replace it with another or just keep it...how cool is that? The office is always super clean and tidy and I just love all the cute pix on the walls! Their office hours are great. Regular hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-6pm, Friday 8am-5pm, and on Saturday from 8am-Noon. They also accept walk-ins Monday-Friday 7:30am-9am...a bonus for sure! The well check visits we had this year, were billed to us. The billing department is argumentative and seems like they struggle to do their job. They ignored the fact that the ACA gives you a free preventative visit each year and ultimately hung up on me because they do not know how insurance works. If the bill me again for a visit that is 100% covered by insurance I will pursue legal action for their incompetence. This is a doctor office correct? Then there is a the non well check visit we had, they seemed to be irritated that my child did not have covid. They even made remarks to my child that were uncalled for, about me not wanting a covid test because the Doctor admitted she showed no signs of covid. After hyperfocusing on covid despite symptoms they ushered us out to the parking lot so fast it was shocking. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE.

My children are all relatively healthy, only needing to be seen for their annual well child check, with the occasional illness. Mary D. Young has always remembered my children at every visit, even asking how the others are doing when seeing a particular child. I have never been disappointed in any service from this office.

I wanted to relate my experience from over 2 years ago with the practice, and offer my sincere thank you to the medical professionals that I encountered. In January of 2024, I spent the week skiing with friends. Even at the age of 72, I'm normally acclimated to the altitude within a day or two. However, that year, I found myself out of breath after just a few pitches. I thought I had some type of chest congestion, and made an appointment at Aspen Medical Care. I don't recall the name of the physician who treated me, but almost immediately, after listening to my heart, she decided to hook me up for a quick EKG. She determined that I had A-fib, immediately put me on a blood thinner, and suggested to see a cardiologist as soon as I returned home. Bottom line, after a cardioversion that didn't work, and an ablation that did, I have been A-fib free since then. I attribute my health to that wonderful doctor who treated me that day.

I expected a wait time (four hours), but when I finally was seen, it was only by a PA who spent less than five minutes with me and was rude. My discharge paperwork had inaccuracies and when I asked the lady who came to discharge me, she was really rude. I regret going there and cried in the taxi on the way home. You'll have a severe ambulatory medical event in the wilderness that requires you to be ambulanced in, then you'll sit in the waiting room in a wheelchair unable to move for four hours, then by the time somebody sees you, all of your symptoms will be gone. Then they will decide that the best treatment for you is to do a drug test to make sure you aren't on drugs. Well, they figured out. I wasn't on drugs and I am not a drug user, but unfortunately they didn't figure out what was wrong with me because they let the symptoms go away. I could probably give you a lot more horror stories. Basically go to community or family health West. I only ended up here because the EMTs believed that I was having a neurological issue and no one else has neurology. Well I'll never know if it was neurological because all I got was a drug test.
