BUT, seafood here is over the top, my wife had a white fish like ONO, but too long a name to spell. Over mashed potatoes and grilled veges Mine was Blackened and seared Ahi over sticky rice and asparagus spears. We both had a nice small Caesar. The sushi bar no longer is here. Completely removed and replaced with about a dozen or more tables for four. Really , if you want a treat at sunset , come here. Great service.

Walked in before 5:00pm with no reservation for a party of four. Well, that was a mistake. Despite idle wait staff and maybe only five occupied tables out of 20-30 total they made us wait for about a half hour. The reason was other people made reservations and were expected. When they finally sat our party the restaurant was still 2/3 empty. There was really no reason to keep us waiting that i could see. When you see someone in the party is disabled and using assistive devices you should be more accommodating. It kind of felt like we were being punished for not having a reservation. Also, expect a 3% service charge for the back of the house. Really, for the prices they charge for mahi fragments you could pay those people without a surcharge. Portions here are tiny. My mahi fragments were dry, over spiced and served with two unseasoned baby bok choi leaves and a slice of grilled tomato. For the price of almost $40.00. The beer was good and so was our server so they got one star for that. Otherwise, this place is touristy, overpriced and the maitre d' is slow on the uptake. Overall, there are plenty of great restaurants on Maui, recommend you try one of those.

This deli is located in a strip mall and is bigger inside than it looks from the outside. On one side they have the ordering area with a beverage cooler, a display case, and hats for sale with their logo. The other side has seating and can probably fit around 30 to 40 people. For lunch on this day I went with the chicken pesto panini while my father went with a hot dog with mustard and sauerkraut. The menu described my sandwich as chicken breast, sun dried tomato, toasted pine nuts, provolone, and pesto spread, and my father's simply as sauerkraut and mustard. It was busy when we were there, so it took about 10 minutes to order and another 15 minutes for the food to come out. Since we ordered separately, my food came out first and even though I planned to wait, I had enough time to eat it while waiting for my dad's. The chicken pesto panini ended up being quite good. The chicken was moist and flavorful and there was more than enough cheese. The sun dried tomatoes added a nice pop of flavor, although I wish there had been more. My favorite part was the pesto spread and pine nuts, especially the garlicky flavor from the pesto. My dad also thought his hot dog was good. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I enjoyed my sandwich and my dad enjoyed his hot dog, so I would be interested in trying more of the menu.

I don't allow myself dessert but it looked so good, I had to try a wedge, which melted in my mouth. The manager Dan quietly asked if we were enjoying our food bringing us a utensil set we had not noticed we needed and seemingly got around to all customers. Overall fantastic experience to remember, as I slip into Hawaiian Paralysis w a smile for a Siesta.

By the time you're up to bat, ready to order, a table seems to magically open up and wait times for your food ( which they bring to your table) are very minimal. We tried their quinoa, roasted veggie bowl with grilled shrimp and it was flavorful and well-seasoned but comforting after a long travel day. We also liked their burgers so much that we tried them 2x with different toppings. They also make very tasty (crispy) fries and we both loved their roasted beet, goat cheese salad. Since our condo was pretty close by, we opted for take-out one time and, ordering ahead online and pick-up was a breeze.

It came with a side of Lomi Tomatoe and Sweet Potato Mash but it could honestly do without those two. Korean Short Ribs: very tasty and soft. Kim Chee Fried rice and the banchans it came with was good too. Everything went well together. Grandma's Kasumi's Fried Chicken: chicken had a good crust on it! It's a big portion of chicken as well, plus everything it came with is filling. Pinoy Honey Toast: wasn't what we were expecting. The Corn flavored ice cream is interesting, wasn't our cup of tea. The Ube Ice Cream was lacking Ube flavoring. Kulolo Malasadas: it would have been so so good if there was more Kulolo in it and less of the Coconut Cream, or have the Coconut Cream as a dipping sauce. Service is always good, we have never had any issues even in the past visits.

Yep you betcha it is. But the sushi is cheap and the drinks are strong so that tourist vibe wears off pretty fast around the end of round two. The next few groups got the better seating along the edges at tables that weren't in high traffic areas, slammed against a wall. Our waitress, wow. Disgraceful. Maria I believe? She showed disgust at our order and was the most unfriendly waitress we have ever had. We ate as quickly as possible, slammed our drinks (they were actually just water, absolutely no flavor or color for a margarita), and got out in under 30 minutes we were SOOOO uncomfortable. The quesadilla was still amazing and the kalua pork nachos were good too. Everything else has 98% room for improvement - structurally, professionally, beverages, everything. We will not be back after that one.
