On our last day in Paris, we decided to pass by here to get a crème brûlée and we got the best one ever. Very delicious and not sugary. I got the strawberry with vanilla cream dessert and it was so yummy. I'm not a "dessert " person but this place is worth mentioning and highly recommended. The Filipino girl who served us was very sweet and made us try the macaroons which were the best I've ever had in all my trips all over Europe. Location is great right in front of Notre Dame. Highly recommended. I shall return!
We stopped here right after flying into Paris and it was such a delight. All the desserts were so distinctive and crafted so eloquently. The apple had a lightness to it yet the middle had a fresh apple crunchiness. The other two treats were wonderful. We ordered flat white's and they were done perfect. The staff spoke English as well as French (which was helpful for us). You could see the Notre Dame from the window. Small seating area and perfect cozy feel.
The visuals are amazing and surpassed by the flavors of these unique desserts. After visiting Notre Dame we crossed the Seine to A. Lacroix where I had to have the famous Notre Dame Apple , also a Madagascar and a Hot Chocolate. Truly a great experience, sitting there in the shadow of the restored Notre Dame in this little shop noshing on these delicious treats. The service was very good. It was on our list of must dos and we weren't disappointed.
A must visit while in Paris!!! The store is owned by a husband and wife duo producing delicious fruit-centric pastries. These are all to die for and it's nestled just a quick walk from Notre Dame. Service is pretty fast, but there might be a small wait due to how popular the store is. While we were there we saw people constantly coming in the store to admire and consume all of the beautifully arranged desserts. My main goal after seeing the photos online was to buy the Notre Dame(apple sponge cake with fresh apples inside.) If I had more time in Paris, I would definitely try and make a stop here again.
Great patisserie with a wide selection of desserts, baked items, and coffees. We had the peche and pistache framboise with a latte and sat at a table out front with an amazing view of the Notre Dame. Both desserts were incredible! Slightly pricey at ~€7 per dessert but totally worth it based on the amount of work that goes into creating these works of art!
A. Lacroix is a mandatory stop either before visiting Notre Dame or afterwards. The deserts are presented in a way that are so appealing to the eye, you almost don't want to cut into it. Of course, get the Notre Dame apple, which is their most infamous desert. It was truly bursting with green apple flavor!! We also tried the Citron Frambois (Raspberry) and that was so beautifully created. Have a hot latte and get a seat facing toward the River Siene (pronounced Senn) and just enjoy the masterpiece of a Pâtisserie on your plate as well as the cathedral in front of you. A. Lacroix's creations are the apple of Paris' eye. :)
This was such a cute patisserie! I walked in and there was no line but they were out of a lot of desserts. I was still able to get a lemon pastry which was cheaper liked a cut lemon (too cute) and a Parisian hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was basically a glass of warm milk with a wooden stick inside. The stick had a ball of chocolate on it which melts as you stir in the glass of warm milk. What an interesting way to have hot chocolate! It was delicious although I would have liked more chocolate in it since the hot chocolate was more on the milkier side. The pastry was decent but at times way too tart and lemony. The base in the bottom was crumbly and delicious though. The ambience was a bit dated and they definitely need to pay attention to cleaning the tables, but overall, I would be back to try their other pastry options.
BEST ALMOND CROISSANTS HANDS DOWN! we also LOVED the plain croissants and the hot chocolate. The apple pastry wasn't our thing but we will def come back here to try the rest of the amazing items they have ! I wish i woulda bought a box of almond croissants on our last day to take with us back home but next time, that is the plan! Service is phenomenal.. friendly and helpful staff!
This has it all! Cozy atmosphere with stone walls and exposed beams, beautiful pastries (we were like this is the final Bake Off signature pastries!), fair prices, and good coffee and hot chocolate. Our group of five liked it so much, we returned the next day, so I feel confident in saying that you will have a hard time deciding, but no worries---everything is excellent! It is run by a Franco-American couple, with the American running front of the house, so you can speak English or French comfortably.
Wow! Went for the apple cake and was given so many delightful choices. The chocolate almond croissant was the best croissant of my visit- and trust me, I tried a bunch! Brought the peach and the apple cakes back to the hotel for later. The peach was really great however it was raspberry flavored. Tried the apple the next day and it was good too! But the croissant and coffee was perfection! Service was ok, they were busy but it was fine. Shop was small but cute. We grabbed a table outside and watched the people walking along the river- loved that.
Stopped by this spot for a little coffee pick me up and this coffee shop is in the perfect spot to look at Notre Dame through the trees. Everyone their was really nice and especially the owner who was welcoming. I decided to get a caramel latte and a strawberry macaron which was super yummy and perfect for the chilly weather outside. Would def come here again!

THE FOOD ------------------ + Notre Dame Granny Smith Apple Confit - Was refreshing! I couldn't tell if this was a real apple or some fancy French creation made to look like one - that's how real it looked! The mousse and apple bits were cold & delicious and the chocolate shell was good, but not sure if it was worth the price at €7.5. + Pain Au Chocolat Cookie - Verrrry good chocolate chip cookie, chocolate croissant mashup. Only thing that we were missing was some good ol' milk! + Almond Croissant - Once again, delicious! Solid croissant and definitely a good grab and go candidate. = Citronnade - Was just OK. Lemonade that was on the watered down side, but was somewhat refreshing because I was dying of thirst. THE SERVICE ----------------------- - Employee who helped us with our order was friendly, but the cashier was a bit blah and not exactly the friendliest person, especially when we asked for extra utensils and napkins. THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ - Smallish, tight interior that you can dine in at, but don't be surprised if the next table is sitting on top of you. + There are also 5 outdoor tables on the narrow street. - Entrance is tight too. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS ------------------------------------------- + Even though this bakery is ranked highly on Tripadvisor, there was no crowd on the Monday morning that we swung by. The mousse was so light and delicious! Didn't have an artificial fruit taste at all. The almond croissant was caramelized on the bottom, it was perfection read more

Stopped by this spot for a little coffee pick me up and this coffee shop is in the perfect spot to look at Notre Dame through the trees. Everyone their was really nice and especially the owner who was welcoming. I decided to get a caramel latte and a strawberry macaron which was super yummy and perfect for the chilly weather outside. Unique desserts that look so cute! There's a lot of options and it was so hard to choose just a few. We tried the Citron Vert Coco, Norte Dame, and Citron Framboise. Each one had filling inside and the fruit flavors were strong. read more
Stumbled upon this shop after taking a pastry class and was starving - what a great find! Their croissants were delicious - so buttery and flaky. Their patisseries were both impressive in their design and flavor. My favorites were the citron framboise and the creme brulee. read more

Enjoyed this bakery! Very unique and creative bakery treats with beautiful presentation. Seating available indoors and outdoors. I'd have to say I enjoyed this spot more for the vibes than the actual taste of the fooe. I got the pain au chocolat, tartine vegetarienne, and hot chocolate. The pain au chocolat and tartine vegeterienne were both pretty standard. Wasn't a huge fan of the hot chocolate. I would've preferred it hotter with a richer, darker chocolate taste. Tourist, here. Had an amazing experience inside the freshly re-opened Notre Dame cathedral and then came here for lunch. Plat formule was delicious and the pastry I selected was the famous Notre Dame / apple dessert. The stem is solid chocolate and the inside is some sort of creamy filling along with cooked apples. I've never tasted anything like it- it was beautiful and delicious! It was rainy so we had to sit inside, but that was okay. read more
We went for dessert after lunch. Unbelievably good. We had the almonde chocolate pastry and the citron meringue that so perfectly desintegrates in your mouth. We also had our coffees. We sat outside along a busy street, across from Norte Dame. It's a small place with a back seating area that was completely full. read more
This place is such a gem! Right across the river from the Notre Dame Cathedral. Wonderful staff who take pride in the treats they're serving up all day. Typical outdoor Parisian seating allowing you to enjoy the beauty of the day and all the people watching at the river you could want. And everything they serve is as delicious as the next! This is the only eatery in Paris that we visited more than once during our 12-day stay in the City of Light. On our first visit, we shared the incredible Ham and Cheese Croissant and Notre Dame (Green Apple) dessert, while sipping two Americanos. The owners are Americanos themselves, and the staff here speaks excellent English. During our second visit, we had the Quiche Lorraine and Chocolate Bread with Almonds, both outstanding, and under 8 euros, total. This was the first place we visited after reaching our hotel, so we had some trouble finding it. It does not have a large sign in front; we only happened to see a small sign on the side of the patisserie that said A. Lacroix. Everything we had was excellent. They have other desserts that looked amazing that we didn't try. read more
Stumbled upon this place after checking out Notre Dame and I'm happy we found it! Easily the best macarons I've ever had. The staff were incredibly friendly and there's plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. We only tried the macarons, but the handcrafted desserts in the window were absolutely gorgeous and extremely detailed. This is a great place to stop and take a break from sightseeing! If you're seated outside you'll have a great view of the Notre Dame reconstruction too. read more

This homey café is a perfect alternative to the often overrun, touristy Shakespeare & Co Café just down the lane. It does still attract tourists with a guaranteed line out the door and it certainly does have an tourist-appealing view of Notre Dame if one were to situate themselves outside at the tables there. Regardless, the line felt relaxed and the service just as so. The cashier spoke near fluent English and was quite welcoming. I initially came in for chocolat chaud/ hot chocolate to combat the biting cold, but was met with a welcome sight in the form of an imaginative and beautiful spread of desserts within the display case on the way to the cashier. The sweets do not come cheap as most were at ~7 euros. I had the *Notre Dame* (7,5 euros; appel mousse, appel confiture, cake) as the view across the street did call for such a dessert which was shaped like a green apple and filled with a light, apple mousse. The hot chocolate was served quite steaming hot and did require some mixing. They do provide a tray for you to carry your items to your table although the glassware is a bit heavy so it will be a shaky trip (as I found out :)). A delightful stay to catch our breath and continue to take in the sights and sounds of this historical city. read more
This is a really cute Pâtisserie. You're right across from the Notre Dame and the River Seine. The service was really nice. There's lots of room to sit inside and outside. The pastry chef is in the kitchen. You can charge your phone there. read more
We had been walking around Paris for hours soaking in the sights and a couple of hours after lunch, we wanted something sweet. We had just been to Notre Dame to see progress on the reconstruction and a quick glance at Yelp told us that A. Lacroix was close by and highly rated. We made a beeline for this place and were immediately entranced by the selection of cakes and other sweets. I had a noisette (hazlenut) caramel and my husband had an "all chocolate". To drink I had a mocha which was absolutely incredible. We were able to grab a seat outside and watch the world go by while we enjoyed our treats. My noisette caramel had a creamy shell, some fluff inside and a gooey center. It was outstanding. I have had dreams about this sweet, it was that good. The other highlight was the gracious and professional service. The two staff members working were incredibly kind. So nice and helpful. I know they must deal with idiot tourists like me all the time and how they can remain smiling and helpful is just amazing. I would definitely go back here and if you're in Paris, make sure you stop by. read more

Cutest Cafe! Here visiting in Paris and this is one of my favorite places. Lots of sweet and savory options as well as coffee. Chocolate croissant and mocha for the win! Service is fast! wow so perfect and a great way to be welcomed in france! service was good and they weren't rude if you can speak french and are american haha. i got the crème brûlée ball little thing, a cappuccino, almost croissant, and plain croissant. everything was decadent and delicious and right outside of a vintage market! ambiance is chill and really brings you into the culture. love it here! read more
So full disclosure, my friend's sister owns this patisserie, though I've never met her (Jackie). On a recent trip to Paris I did decided to stop by while I was walking in the neighborhood and SO glad I did as it was a wonderful spot to take a small break and really soak up the surroundings. The space is cute, charming, and situated adjacent to the Notre Dame. Coffee was delicious and fresh (even when I arrived just 30min prior to closing) and the desserts...! As tasty as they look. Jackie was unfortunately on holiday but Melanie was truly wonderful. It helped that she spoke English but just her overall warm energy was really something special. She made me feel completely at ease and right at home. I couldn't decide between a couple of pastries to which she suggested that I "go with my gut." So the green apple it was (+ a macaron to-go)! It was SO realistic-looking and almost too precious to consume. But every bite was delectable and went so well with my hot cappuccino. Felt so cozy and inviting inside. We were around notre dame and found ourselves needing for coffee and found this spot. I must say that we found one of the best patisserie here in Paris! These creations are bursting in flavors!!! Must try!!!! The place is literally across from notre dame so it is easy to find. read more

We stopped here after visiting Notre Dame. There are seats which look out the window right at the cathedral. they also have coffee, tea and beautiful, pastries, and Macarons. very friendly young man helped us with our order. read more
