Hands down one of the best meals I've had in Casa Grande! I found this little restaurant online and decided to check it out after seeing they offered live music and online reservations. I called ahead, and the bartender who answered was super friendly and told me to come on in they had seats available. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and very clean. You can tell this spot has a loyal following there were several regulars at the bar raving about the bartender, David, and now I understand why. His service was phenomenal. Attentive, personable, and full of great recommendations. For dinner, I ordered the salmon, and it was absolutely delicious. perfectly cooked, flavorful, and beautifully plated with mashed potatoes and cheesy bread on the side. I also tried the bruschetta appetizer, which was fresh, bright, and drizzled with just the right amount of balsamic glaze. The live music added a great touch to the evening not too loud, just the perfect background for a relaxed night out. This restaurant is by far the best restaurant in Casa Grande in my opinion. We're not in the area that often but when we are, we make a point of dining here. We look forward to it and it just never disappoints. Last night was no exception. They accommodated some modifications on the dish my wife ordered gracefully and cheerfully (the Bourbon Chicken), which looks great as is, and she loved it. In my case, I keep trying a new dish even though when I find a dish I really like, I rarely stray from it. Chicken Pot Pie and Cuban sandwich were both great in previous visits. This time I had the Philly Cheesesteak, and it was the BOMB. Great Amoroso roll, top notch shaved ribeye (the meat better be good on a Philly even if the vegetables and cheese are), great beer cheese, and of course the perfect amount of peppers and onions. I'm not a young man, so if I may, it didn't bother my stomach afterwards one bit, either (sorry). And I will never fall out of love with the rustic salad (cucumber, tomato and feta in a tangy dressing). Cocktail shrimp appetizer was yet another winner - plump and tasty, not shy on shrimp, either, and great cocktail sauce. Great wine selection here, of course, but I finally had a mixed drink, and it was DELICIOUS! I think our server, Maddie, was also the bartender. It was the starburst (Absolute Raspberry Vodka, Absolute Citrus Vodka, cranberry, fresh lemon, lime juice) and WOW was it great! And speaking of Maddie, she did an outstanding job with service. Asked about the timing of the meal, checked on us periodically, friendly, sweet, very personable and gave great guidance on the menu. As I mentioned in previous reviews, the ambiance is great too. Stopped by again with my wife for a late snack. Arrived at about 7pm and ordered a Blueberry flavored beer for my wife (actually had 3 fresh Blueberrys in it) a d I had a Coors Lite. We ordered the Blueberry Bruschetta and Salmon Bruschetta as appetizers, as well as a Shrimp cocktail and salad. Everything was very good, and we also ordered the Chicken Pot Pie to share. It was very flavorful and we had a nice time. Service was great (we ended up being only patrons as they closed at 8pm I believe). The prices are a little high but food is very good. Girls night celebrating last day of teaching summer school! Made rsvp online through Yelp for 6:45 p.m. Parking was easy and plenty of it. We were greeted right away. Sat in back corner where we could see everything. Close enough to bar. Our Server was Ashley & she has been here since it opened in 2017! There are 9 main tables with 4 or more seats to them. The bar has about 10 seats. Looks like some locals hang out here. There is a small stage to the left of the entrance near the restrooms. A cute lite tree is near the outside patio area. Patio area has plenty seating but it's summer so too hot to use it. They are Open: Wed-Saturday 11 a.m to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturday they have Live music from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Delicious food & great entertainment! We ordered two items to split. All was flavorful and we left very satisfied. Whiskey Aioli (21+)-Hamburger topped with cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, bacon, and a house made whiskey aioli sauce. Served on a pretzel bun. $20 Chicken Pot Pie-Oven-roasted chicken with peas, carrots, onions, and celery in cream and broth sauce. Visited this spot a handful of times & never disappoints. Staff is always so kind & attentive. The vibe is always great & they even have live music some days! I come for mainly the wine and the food & to unwind. Every time I visit I have to order the Apple fig bruschetta & my most recent visit I finally tried the homemade chicken pot pie which was recommended by staff and so filling and yummy. WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE!!!!? My bf and I were driving up to PHX and I was craving pizza. I'm not really into typical American pizza so found this place had flatbread so I decided to go to this place. We were sooooo glad we found this place. My bf ordered a burger and I ordered margherita flatbread. Wow his burger was one of the best burgers I've tried in my life!!! The buns, the meat, aioli sauce, everything was great. And my flatbread didn't disappoint either. The cheese tasted amazing and the scent from basil was just perfect! Espresso at the end was tasty as well. The server told us they get the coffee from local (Maricopa) place called HoneyCut. We need to pass by to get their coffee beans one day! Speaking of the server, her service was excellent also!!!! We wanted to go somewhere nice to celebrate our fourth anniversary so we chose A Latte Vino. We were seated right away. This place has a subtle ambience. It feels warm and welcoming, very comforting. The staff was pleasant and friendly. I ordered the Honey Glazed Salmon and my wife ordered the Beef Bourguignon. The presentation of the food was great and while my wife's dish had deep flavor my salmon lacked flavor and the edges of the salmon were overcooked and dry. Our bill was just over $82.98. For that amount of money I would've hoped the entire dinner was spot on. read more

This is a nice place for lunch. I ordered the half sandwich and soup. It was just the right size. A glass of the house Chardonnay was lovely and reasonably priced. It is a very open space with high ceilings and if you chill easily I recommend bringing a sweater or light jacket. Also plan on taking your time. There was only one person working the tables, bar and taking care of a group in the back. It didn't feel like too much of a wait, so I will be back. read more

Service was ok , they were out of the bourbon chicken so I ordered the $18 cheesesteak which was a $6 cheesesteak at best. Meat was flavorless, minimal onions peppers and cheese. I have no problem paying good $ for a good meal but this definitely wasn't it. Nobody at the table ate their whole meal. The best part of the meal was the pretzel. They also had a band which wasn't bad but you couldn't have a conversation because the music was to loud. read more

Went with another couple for Valentines Day. There was a special Valentine menu which had excellent choices. The waitress brought a basket of rolls to start. There were three rolls and 4 of us dining. Asked for another roll and i was told that the owner only allows one basket per table! 3 dried out rolls and no butter. Hint to ownership - Buy some bread baskets that fit 4 rolls and butter! read more

Long communal tables and a cozy sectional sofa along with other seating options in the private room.. room is separated from main dining area by rolling barn doors .. Menu includes wine, beer, mixed cocktails and coffee drinks .. $7-12 offerings Light snacks included bruschetta (the Brie, apple, fig jam option was my favorite), flat bread, potstickers .. all very tasty.. nicely presented Staff was friendly and efficient.. we had two waitresses who brought drinks & food.. gathered up empty bottles, glasses and plates.. definitely worth a try read more

Was looking forward to trying this place as the website looked promising for ambiance, menu choices & service. Sadly, our visit did not deliver. Started out with hostess confusion over the reservation I had made on their website, telling me they are under new management or something so "emails aren't always received." Red flag #1. After showing her my reservation she seemed resigned to the fact we actually had a legit reservation & planned on eating there. We were seated in the back room, which had several awkwardly large & uninviting tables. After waiting for menus for 10-15 minutes we started looking at their online menu, & I got up to go find my parents a menu they could read easier. I tracked down a server & she seemed frustrated she actually had to find us menus & take our drink orders. After this we waited, waited, waited for drinks & a server that never returned. Once again, I get up to find someone & when I do they act surprised that we are there & know nothing about us ordering drinks, or even being there. (Yes, I was ready to walk out at this point but I was trying to smile & be patient so I didn't have to schlep my parents to restaurant #2) After unhappily taking our dinner orders, and not so much as a tiny apology for the complete lack of service we waited another 40 minutes for our meals. All meals were adequate but underwhelming. Seems they need to get their act together & things might be better once they do, but we will not be returning. read more

Grand re-opening at 6 tonight. Sat at the bar with my wife, arrived at 6. At 6:20 we received service from staff at the bar. We ordered martinis, which took another ten minutes. Once the martinis arrived I couldn't help but notice both martinis were easily one inch from the rim. I'm not a martini snob, but I've had a few martinis in my 60 years, so naturally I flagged down the bartender and asked for a little more booze in our drinks. The bartender, who was doing her best to satisfy the crowd, seemed a bit surprised at my request. She then turned to the owner, who happened to be next to her, said something, then the owner asked if she could help. I tried explaining that the $12 martini wasn't made correctly and I needed it topped off with more vodka. Also there were no olives in the martini. The owner, who should not have batted an eye, also looked at me like I was the problem. Great. now I'm the asshole because an understaffed bar on a grand opening can't manage a martini in decent time. After complaining to the other owner I suddenly got some more of something put in my martini, but it wasn't vodka. The martini the bartender returned to me tasted like olive juice and vermouth. I have never had a brown martini. It looked more like beer than a martini. What an insult, what a joke. But ya See? Complain about shitty service and drinks made by a rookie bartender and you get an even worse drink. This entire night was planned wrong by the owners. They had a grand opening and had one newbie bartender who was clearly over her head. I can't really blame the bartender, she was setup to fail. I wasn't the only one complaining. The guy next to me said that my martini was not poured correctly. And another man seated left of my wife agreed the service was bad. We left, didn't have to pay for the bad drinks and headed to the Hideout where the service was spectacular, as usual. The irony of all this was we recognized another patron from a Latte Vino seated at the bar at The Hideout. So we struck up a conversation with him, and he said he left a Latte Vino because the service was "abysmal". I will never return to a Latte Vino, that was crap. read more

Rude management. I bought some deli meats & cheeses, grapes and crackers. No presentation whatsoever and it was given to me in a pizza box. By the time I got home it looked like a $5.00 dollar purchase NOT $27.58 which by the way it was $30.00 with a $2.00 dollar tip. Really cool Italian restaurant in the small town of CG. We have been there probably 4 times now and all times expect one they had live music. The live music is little bit too loud and is hard to keep a conversation. Their food is really good. Lots of flavor. I think it might be little overpriced for the size of the plate. I almost never write bad reviews but it all comes down to how you handle things in restaurants. The manager with short black hair (don't know her name because she never came to talk to us) did not handle this well. Maybe she's the owner, don't even know. Service was inattentive, manager was absent and food was barely edible at best after we waited an hour and a half to receive it. The restaurant was busy, which maybe they aren't used to. We waited 20 mins for drinks, basic drinks- vodka martinis and wine. They were fine. Our server was stressed but nice. They seemed short staffed or something but we ordered and waited about an hour (still without appetizers) until we were told the pot pie wasn't available. Short rib is usually good at other places so we went with that. Waited another 30 mins and were presented with our 2 salads (why did they take so long?), orange chicken (cold chicken and sauce was gelatinous) and bruschetta (super thick bread and difficult to eat). Honestly, if the food had been good, it would have been worth the hour and a half wait. Clearly the chef was not there based on previous reviews because this is the worst Italian food I've ever had. The short rib had horrible presentation but we were so hungry at that point, we ate it. Flavor of the meat wasn't bad but it did not have the fall off the bone consistency of short rib and was placed on a greasy thin slice of potato with a ground up mushroom pate or something (see pic). Someone else had nachos that were movie theater quality (maybe these shouldn't even be in the menu in an Italian restaurant) and the last had soup which was edible but but not great. All of that said, the server apologized for the lack of attention pointing out a large nearby table. TBH I don't blame her. Why would the kitchen serve that food?? Tell us your chef is out. Why put us through the misery of waiting for bad food and then never even acknowledge there was an issue?? We paid wayyyy too much for the worst dinner we could have had in the area. I walked up to the manager at the POS and voiced our disappointment calmly and she wouldn't even look me in the eye or acknowledge me and definitely did not offer any kind of discount. I'm sure she had a bad day but you just don't treat customers that way if you want to stay in business. I would never go back, do not recommend and will tell people to avoid. Look at my other reviews. If I write a bad review, it deserves it. The only positive I have is that the entertainment was great and helped keep us calm in a very stressful dinner situation. read more
