Service was great, but the pricing? I was a bartender for 6 years, and never did I charge $10 per shooter. Call shooters at $10 a piece is insane. I could see $7, but 30% above that is crazy. Beers seem reasonably priced, and outside is cool enough. Bartenders know their stuff, but "specialty drink" pricing is crazy. To mix 7 shooters poured at roughly 2 oz each and then charge $70 for them? When half of the mix is sprite and lemonade? That's wild. Probably won't be back. They got me that night, but it won't happen again. And pay attention to the cc machine, quick buttons of 15, 20, and 25%. Suggested tips. You not want a 10.50 minimum tip to make those 7 shooters that took you all of 3 minutes? Outta here with that crazy talk. read more

This is a Casa Grande local hangout. A tiny little hole in the wall type of place that we all treasure. It opens up to an awesome back patio with a volleyball court sand pit. Picnic/pub table style seating and sometimes a live band. Drinks are plentiful, service is good, but let me tell you about why I really recommend this place... Friday and Saturday night steaks! They are among the best I've had. They are back there BBQing like you're in their back yard. I had my birthday dinner here once, my friends thought I was nuts... until they tasted the steaks. We dined inside not seeing the sign until we paid for our meals. Now the steak was $31.00. What FALSE advertising!!! Manager wasn't going to do anything about it ! It's a bar not a restaurant. Went with a group of friends and found a table outside. They don't know what medium rare is. No matter how we ordered it, it came back medium to well done. No real flavor or juices you'd expect from a great hamburger. They also own the Gallipun Goose in Coolidge. You can expect the same! read more

It's a very tiny indoor place with a bar and a few tables. Otherwise, everything is outside: the dance floor, the bathrooms, the entertainment, the trailer where they cook the food... and the lovely hot Arizona desert temperatures. So I will no longer be recommending this spot to people. A big group of us used to go there all the time and there is absolutely no consistency, and we are all certain that they will jip you. I'll go into detail: No consistency: The food never comes out the same, it's often incorrect, and even the prices are inconsistent. I bought a beer and paid $3.75 and another afterward, the same kind, and was charged $4.25, not including tip. Jip: So we used to go in a group of 5-10 people, and we'd never really keep track of our drinks, as the boss always paid for everyone. One day we kept track and were over charged by at least $200. Not only that, but there were multiple occasions where mixed cocktails contained absolutely no alcohol at all. I will not be going back. read more

Buddy saw a sign advertising a church and suggested we go visit "The Church Bar". They advertise themselves as "A dive bar with a cook shack", they delivered. We walked in around 11am and were informed that the kitchen doesn't open til noon. No biggie, had a beer and chilled, lazy Sunday after all. Bartender was super attentive to us, making us feel like locals. Food: I had the green chili burger with onion rings. Very Solid. My friend had the same burger but it was really rare. We visited with a party of 7 on a Friday night. There were two specials running. One was steak and the other was fish'n chips. Most ordered the ribeye steak but a couple ordered the fish'n chips. The fish looked amazing. It's definitely not something out of the freezer and just warmed. The steaks were cooked perfectly and delicious. There were a couple hiccups though in the service. The biggest one was no salad until after we were served our dinner and reminded the server we should also have had salad. That's a big one with steak because the salad comes first definitely! Great place, bring a jacket on a cold windy night if sitting outside. Theres covered firepits around the outside area but you may not get a seat close to one. It took a while to get the food and it was absolutely delish. A variety of burger choices which are a great size and the fries are YUM-MY. We were seated immediately by Ashley, great waitress, had great cocktails but after we ordered our dinners, we waited quite a bit. When our dinners were delivered , all the burgers (7total) were charbroiled but lukewarm as if they were forgotten on grill!. This was our first disappointing meal at airport tavern. Wide selection of craft draft and standard bottled beers served bistro style with some pretty interesting combinations that tasted delicious. The place is an "ale house" NOT a cocktail lounge. Mixed beers, sure. Cocktails and martinis? Go to a Casino. American Flag at entrance and gallery of art dedicated to veterans. Comfortable seating. We made a reservation for 11 people to celebrate a friend's birthday. We went right in because we had a reservation and that was great! The parking lot was full! It was about 4:30pm. A woman came & took our drink orders pretty quickly and the drinks were good. I had a delicious margarita! The birthday girl wanted fish & chips & it's only served on Friday. Our table had a wonderful waitress and I had a 15 oz ribeye with salad & a HUGE baked potato. The steaks are limited so we were glad to have gotten one. They were a bit fatty but the flavor was really good. Stopped in after seeing a sandwich board along the road outside this place advertising Friday Special of Steak and Fish Fry. The place is kinda a "Dive Bar" but that was okay - it looked that way on the outside and was told it has been there for many years - nothing special, just an old-fashioned bar with a restaurant. Ordered a 16 oz ribeye steak with a baked potato, beans, and a garden salad. Everything except for the ribeye steak was excellent. The 16 oz ribeye was actually the worst steak I ever had. Absolutely terrible for my taste. However, if you are the kind of person who likes a lot of fat, like at least 1/3 to 1/2 of the serving to be fat, then you would love what was served. I told two servers what i personally thought about the steak serving and showed them the mountain of fat I had put aside. Both said, "oh well, ribeye does have more fat than most other cuts," and walked off. Before they walked off, I said, "yes, but it shouldn't be 50% of the serving. read more
