As an elite member for the last several years I have been to many locations and every single auto parts store that exist I am a regular premium customer to all of them because I buy and sell quite a few cars. Just got a 2011 Acura RDX turbo and needed something very simple as a relay. Advance Auto has one of the best online fitment and purchase to pick up systems in place. Found the part I needed so I decided to just go pick it up. I showed up I tried to buy two of them but they only had one, the guy who rang me up was very professional and polite. Took the part went in the parking lot did not even have it in my possession for 2 minutes and it did not work properly. I then walked back into the store with my receipt I had for 2 minutes. The guy Jorden said that it was the wrong part looked up the correct part and the correct part was four times the price of the one that I purchased. I agreed to pay the extra money since they had it in stock so I was ready to do an exchange. He then looked at me and told me he refuses to exchange it and refuses to give me a refund. At first I thought he was joking but he was not. He refused to exchange or refund it not because of policy but because he told me to my face "you ordered the wrong part" and then he talked trash about the guy that rang me up as if it was his fault. I also have a screenshot that says it's an exact fit for the part that I purchased and then he said that the fitment is always incorrect. I've been buying at advance Auto for years and just relocated to the area and this is the nearest location and very seldom does advance Auto make a mistake on the fitment. I then told Jorden that his response and attitude is unacceptable and I will be complaining. He then said to me "I don't care". So basically advance Auto has this guy named Jorden who doesn't care about customers, who trashes his employees and also talks trash about the online fitment system. In the end I took the part that he refused to refund or exchange which I was willing to buy but due to his attitude I refuse to spend more money with him. Went a mile or so down the road and bought it from another company or I bought an extra one I should say because I needed to purchase two of them. So once I went to the other competitor location (who was actually a lot more professional than this rude jerk Jorden) I put the new part in the car along with the part that he said was my fault that I ordered the wrong part. I am also including a picture of exact fitment because this guy Jorden said it was not exact fit. The end result was I originally purchased the correct part I just needed two of them and they only had one. The main point of this is this guy Jorden is 100% wrong I had the original part as the website stated, the cashier guy was correct and I was correct. The only person here that was actually wrong was Jorden. It seems he doesn't have respect for the company that he works for or his employees or his customers. In addition to this I contacted the corporate complaint as of today it has been a couple of days and I was told I would be contacted by a team leader at this location. I never got a contact from the team leader so even the corporate here or the local location is failing to do their job. I have many friends I've made in advance autos just because I'm a regular and never before has anyone been so unprofessional and ridiculous. I don't really work well with guys that think they know everything and trash everything around them and this seems to be the case. So I'm sure that if corporate decides to respond to this it will be a basic templated response that says I'm sorry you had a bad experience, blah blah but then do nothing about it and let this guy run off their business. Good luck advance Auto with this guy Jorden should you choose to keep this guy on the payroll.

I like the set up he has at his place, complete with a garage in the back of the property where he works on cars. He helped fix several issues with my mom's van and gave me a hand with installing a backup camera on my super old Honda accord. He's very easy to talk to! I definitely would trust him to do major mechanical work on my car if it needed it. The prices he charges seem pretty standard for mechanic work; it's always expensive but doesn't seem worse than standard/commercial places.

I was changed both times ~$350 for evac and recharge of the system, Had the job been done correctly the first time I would have saved $350. I shouldn't have to pay for bad diagnosis. Not only was it with the team for 5 business days, they ensured me that it would be done, which in my mind means completed by Thursday. I had called and check on the status on Wednesday around 3pm and the gentleman said that he hadn't even gotten around to doing a diagnostic on my vehicle. I extended my rental car, which in total cost me $400 To rent for the week because I have 4 kids and an obviously busy life. On Friday at 3:30 I called to see the status and he said that I was "next in line" to run a simple diagnostic. The expectation was set that it would be done by Thursday. They didn't even bother to call and update. Terrible customer service.
