Maybe since I'm man they ignored the fact I was shopping? Cashier and worker didn't say anything to me. During the transaction, the older woman seem annoyed to even have to cash me out. Figured it was an off day and came again for another gift and they flat out dismissed me. Always try to support small business but I'll avoid shopping here and mention that to others. No value in a store if the people don't see you as equals.

The accents and furnishings are a little on the higher price end, but if quality and uniqueness set them apart, I don't mind paying a little extra for something I can't live without. There were at least two sales associates in the store from what I could tell. We browsed the entire store for 30 minutes or more, yet no one acknowledged us or offered to help us during the time we were there. Some of the items were absolutely gorgeous, while others we browsed, the quality didn't warrant the higher price tag IMO. I might come back if there's something specific I'm looking for or to peruse their lovely candles if in the area, but probably won't make a special trip to return here.

We had a big breakfast but it would be nice to try some of the many lunch spots they had throughout the market. The stores had everything but I loved the amount of talavera pottery to choose from and stocked up as much as my suitcase would allow. Prices are super reasonable as well considering these are handmade artisan pieces. I use my tazas everyday and they are the best coffee cups I have ever had. Needless to say, we left pretty quickly after arriving. Would like to come back to see John T. Floored and restaurant and music venue. Lots of big and small artists seem to come through
