In spite of the weight, most customers maintained a positive outlook and the cashiers seemed to be handling it all in stride. One, it was difficult to get someone out to measure our door. They told me they would call back and didn't. I had to make a trip there. They said the door we had was too big and that the installers would have to cut into the sheet rock. But guess what, the person who measured the door measured incorrectly. It took Lowe's to measure correctly, and there is no need to cut into the sheet rock after all. This isn't the only issue that I've had with that store either. I love Home Depot, but really? I needed some hardware that was missing from a project I received. After narrowing down what I…read moreneeded, I tried to use the app and website to search, but nothing came up that matched, though I was certain that the store had what I needed in stock. A short drive later, I was trying to find what I needed, and came up short, but only in quantity. An employee came by and offered help, and I told them what I needed. They were right to a different bin, and counted out the exact quantity that I needed. They then gave me the price for that item and one other similar item. When I mentioned that the app and website didn't help, they told me that some of the items wouldn't come UP on the website or in the app, but that I could call anytime to have someone check the stock for me. I wrote the info on the handy plastic bag and went to check out. The employee at the checkout counter was polite, friendly, and professional. They asked for my phone number to access my rewards account. When I walked out, I had exactly what I needed, and for a very reasonable price. This is now my go-to store for all but major hardware needs. I highly recommend Ace Hardware, and especially this location. It kind of felt like I was dealing with family.

After talking to several representatives, a Home Depot representative by the name of Bernice stepped up and said she would try and help us. I informed her that I was having problems with the service from Tuff Shed online and that I needed some help. She sat us down and asked about the problem and I explained it. She called Tuff Shed customer service from Home Depot and explain the problem we were having. The Tuff Shed representative told her that she would help. After much discussion, it was all ironed out thanks to Bernice from Home Depot. Bernice was very professional, friendly, and listen to the long story that I had about the poor customer service from Tuff Shed. When we walked out of the Home Depot, Bernice had gotten it all straightened out for us from Tuff Shed. It is with employee representatives like Bernice that make this store a good place. I highly recommend this store and think Bernice for helping us.. Early Monday morning, the next day we received a call from a Tuff Shed representative and we are now getting delivery of our product.

Since there are so many departments associated with this store, I thought I would just stick with the garden center. Usually by mid February and March they'll have pretty much everything set up outdoors in the garden center, but they do have a small indoor area for succulents and seeds. I'm always looking to see if they have something new that they did not have last year. Towards the back, you'll find pavers, sand, rocks, and bordering materials. Off to the side of the garden center you'll find, mulch, potting soil, topsoil, compost, and soil amendments. Everything is fairly competitively priced, but not much in the way of super deals. Here goes. To put simply. This place sucks! Took in two Echo…read moreCS370's because I couldn't get them to run correctly after changing spark plug etc myself. Told them I didn't want to spend more than $200 total but was ok spending that much if both saws ran like near new again. They verbally said total should be around $125 unless something was really bad. So 3 weeks after they said they should be done they said one was finished. It's total was $98. Then I'm told they could work on the other saw because the handle was broke so I agreed to let them fix it. No biggie as handle is under $35. When that saw was done it was $132. Here's where it gets good. The one saw is missing the oiler screw that I thought they were going to fix. Nope. The pull rope doesn't go all the way back in. Didn't look at that either. So WTF did they do? They "looked" over the entire saw and changed the spark plug and gas filter. That's it. So for not $125 but for $230 I basically got a new handle. I can change the spark plug in 2 minutes myself. And how the crap does a chainsaw repair shop NOT see the oiler screw completely missing, do they not test the saws for proper lubrication? I for sure thought they changed a carburetor (or both). Or at minimum had to adjust the carbs. Not sure how one can charge that much to change 2 spark plugs and 2 gas filters on a freaking chainsaw with a straight face.

So, going across the street to Hime Depot hoping to get what I need I found Theresa working in paints . She had a customer and still acknowledged me with a greet and that she would be right with me . I patiently waited and she got to me quickly. She walked me over to an alternative paint that actually worked better for my project. She explained the quality and matched my paint perfectly. She helped two other people without dropping any service expectations I had . Absolutely hands down the best experience in a hardware store . She offered store incentives I didn't know about and made sure I had everything I needed . She was enthusiastic, she knew her product and listened to me. She created a profile for me to always have in case I returned. She was amazing and I left happy AF! Theresa deserves recognition and can certainly help with anything in the store .
