My favorites are the many vintage postcards and sports cards. Oh, and the occasional whole booths that may be discounted for what I saw as much at 20%. Inside, I immediately found a display of handblown glass hearts of which I selected one perfect for me! My husband saw several wind chimes he wishes he could take back home but they were VERY big. The shop takes up several rooms with clothing, toys, collectibles and kitchen wares, and some furniture, lamps, etc. Really a bit of anything. There was quite a few name brand items and some expensive though reduced high end purses. I found many of the prices overall to be higher than what I would consider a bargain. I saw some brand name clothing items that were a good price but with closing imminent I did not have time to try them on. I did not find any bargains for myself, but overall this thrift shop is well organized, plenty of items and probably some bargains to be found with time to look.

I found three skirts that I liked and they were priced from $5 to $12. Excellent! There were quite a few that were more expensive and there were lots of name brands to choose from. Gernin also had a good selection of vintage jewelry. You might miss Gernin if you aren't looking for it, as it is set perpendicular to the road. It is located only a few doors down from Fuddruckers and has some well-dressed mannequins in the windows. A tip: parking can be a little crazy in the small lot around lunch time, but any other time of the day should be perfect. Gernin is a fun little place to spend a few minutes shopping for cute, reasonably priced clothing. I will definitely go back there after a few months to see the new stuff what they have in.
