This is all of those things, combining classic American cuisine with Italian flavorings, and the only restaurant in Venice where you can leave wearing a crown. Good ol number seven (VII) is satisfying wherever you go, but French fries in Italy? Tres bien! Like having a whole continent in your mouth. Ketchup just tastes better in a land of fresh tomatoes and herbs. (Still Heinz). At midday the stained glass window on the second floor lets an ancient pattern dance on the cash register. As the gondoliers songs and selfie stick merchants ring in your ears, you'll lick your fingers and the palms of your hands and wrists and think of home. Truly a cheeseburger in paradise. Ample boat parking. Loses star for no Jumbotron.

Why would someone go all the way to Venice just to eat at a KFC? Well, I was waiting for my tour to…read morestart and this was the closes and fastest restaurant to the meeting point. As far as KFC's go, this is way better than the one's in the US. This restaurant was clean and that included the toilet. I was surprised that there was a drink station if you wanted refills. The prices weren't at tourist trap prices. I ordered the chicken sandwich meal via the kiosk. This included a drink and fries. The food was made to order and there was a screen to notify you when your order was ready. The staff were helpful though there was a language barrier. My coworker ordered a 3 piece chicken meal and noted that the chicken tasted fresh and not like it was waiting under a heat lamp like some KFC's in the states do.

KFC, known name. And after so many pizzas and spaghetti, you do want to taste of fried chicken. We visited this. It was full and seems full of American tourists only. hehe... yes menu is different from typical USA one. I ordered hot wings, Colonel Burger, Chicken popcorn and some combo meal. All cost me 18 euro. Taste-wise, it was different from what we get in the USA. But still good enough. Service was a bit slow though. It took me 25 minutes to reach the counter.
