Felt like a fast food pasta joint but man was it delicious. We were beat from the journey over and went down to see if they were still open because it was late. At first the guy said they were closed but the lady told us to come in. She made a call and they took our order. It was great to see her cook the noodles. The sauce was already made but to their credit they were closing down so maybe we didn't get the full show. Nothing about the taste seemed like a "fast food" joint. These stops of quick pasta places are everywhere and apparently it's delicious and generous on your pockets.

Fresh pasta. Seafood sauce was more like a broth, well seasoned. Seafood was mostly mussels. Take cash. Their bank card machine declined my USA card and another persons while I was there. My bank never declined my card. Their machine declined it. Another person there from Paris used a card successfully.

Not sure why there are so many good reviews for this place as it is absolutely awful. The service was SO slow, the woman taking orders was rude. The pasta tasted awful, had to throw it out. The sauce was just some canned american sauce, the whole meal was way too salty, the spaghetti wasn't real spaghetti it was a thick noodle. Do not go here. Absolutely terrible. The ambiance was fine, super crowded though because it's a small place with little to no seating. Also very hot inside due to all the body heat in such a small place. I would force my worst enemy to eat this pasta because it would make them suffer worse than anything else. Skip this restaurant, get real pasta! For your own sake, steer clear of this awful place and save yourself the money!

We came here on a rainy night after being put off by the long line at Dal Moro's. We were in the mood for a quick-service meal after many nights of long sit-down dinners and came across Pasta Go Espresso on Yelp. I love the idea of this place - it's almost like Chipotle but with Italian food; you choose your pasta, sauce, protein and toppings. The food was very fresh for being "fast food" and was actually one of our favorite meals during our 10 day trip. They also serve beer, wine and my favorite, bottled bellinis, which is a nice extra. Unlike Dal Moro's, this place has tables to stand at and eat, rather than being pushed outside and forced to "illegally" eat on steps or a bridge. If you're in the mood for good pasta on the fly, definitely give this place a try.

We had 3 different menu items and all were great. Pasta was perfect and sauce was amazing. Highly recommend.

Lots and lots of restaurants to choose from in Venice but this unassuming restaurant is a true gem…read more It's easy to miss as it's tucked in a corner right by a bridge. Once inside they have a couple tables with small window views of any gondolas passing by. We started off with a plate of lightly fried sardines topped with pickled white onions. The fry on the fish was super light and those vinegar-y onions were the perfect pairing. We cleaned that plate. The lasagna was well balanced with the meat, sauce, cheese. The squid ink pasta was chewy/al dente with a subtle touch of seafood flavors giving the cuttlefish. It was very umami but nothing too overbearing. Delicious! It's a Family business that was been around for many years. Grazie to the friendly staff and chef!

The jovial mood with the waiters with big personalities is gone. The menu you can find online is no longer available so you get a very limited menu to choose from--nearly entirely seafood. So if you have anyone in your party that just wants pasta with a red meat sauce or a non seafood lasagne, not available. We were a party of 8. Two people ordered the scallop appetizers. Pretty presentation on shells. 3 tiny scallops in the shells. More like an amuse bouche. Totally disappointing. The linguine with clams as an entree had clams so small you almost needed a magnifying glass to see them. Couldn't taste the clams and annoying to try to eat something so tiny , and just try to eat the pasta with all those tiny shells. The baby shrimp on polenta was actually good. But again the shrimp were like tiny hatchlings tempura battered. Tasted okay except for those that were soggy from the polenta that was very soupy. I wanted the gnocchi with crab which was on the very limited menu but no longer available. The alternative was gnocchi with a sea bass sauce which I chose but didn't like at all. The gnocchi were good but the sauce wasn't at all for me. We had to continue to ask for side dishes for the bread, butter, olive oil, salt and pepper. We will not return. Poor value for your money. Plus there is a cover charge and service included in your bill which was a surprise. Very sad to see our favorite Venetian restaurant decline so much.
