My fiancée just wanted a bed and didn't care too much about how things work and why they work, she just wanted a comfortable bed. I, on the other hand wanted to know what I was buying and somehow Daniel was able to keep us both happy. Details for me and comfy factor for her. Daniel made us feel important and cared more about what we wanted and didn't seem to push a specific make on us. Extremely patient and seemed to know a lot. Daniel also had excellent communication and he's definitely the only one I'd deal with from now on. I recommend asking for Daniel if you're at this store.

My mom also wanted the lamps, so it took about three weeks from when I first emailed and when I received the lamps. (I was pleasantly surprised they would ship them to me without spending the 8,000.00 shipping minimum) They shipped them to two separate addresses and they did research on the cheapest way to ship them. I really apprecieatd that. Once they shipped it only took about 2 days to get to my mom and 4 days to get to me. I worked with Tena from the Thornton Colorado store.

I found a hole in one of the cushions of the sofa and they came out on the 17th and replaced the cushion. On May 30th I found a second hole in one of the other sofa cushions. I called and informed them that I wanted to return the sofa and loveseat at that point. Since then I have found a 3rd hole, though I digress. I ordered a new different sofa and loveseat that was a special order and would not arrive until July 15-18. I have called and talked to no less than 12 "customer service" people, all the while being told that "it would be another week". Today I called and was told that now it would be "another few weeks". By now I am livid! "Nikki" said she would call the manufacturer and call me back. She of course did not call me back. I called again and was told I could not be transferred to "Nikki",and spoke to "Chelsea". She informed me that yes, it would be another few weeks. I asked her if I could speak to a manager and she informed me that she and everyone there IS a MANAGER. I said that there HAS to be someone above her, she said "no, I report to no one". I informed her that now I am going to and find furniture SOME PLACE ELSE, and that I will then call and have AFW come and pick up this DEFECTIVE AND CRAPPY furniture and get a refund. She said "you can do that if you like". Honestly, this is NO WAY to treat customers! I have gotten furniture from AFW in the past and have never been treated like this. Trust me, DO NOT GWT FURNITURE FROM THIS COMPANY!! The value for the money you spend is simply CRAP! And apparently they do not care.

After learning how to utilize the Hibernation platform, we still hadn't decided on the mattress. I spied a model in the corner, Air S Lido 2 Lux firm king. I laid down on it and "Wow, it was comfortable!" My wife tested it and she agreed,and the Hibernation, it was great! Yes, we upgraded from the Doctor Choice to this one, more money for us "older" people, in our 80's a definite step up that we deserve. Colton McClellan was patient, complementing us on our thoroughness. He was professional, always offering sugestions, asking us questions, and helping us to make the decision. The store associate at tools was a very nice elderly gentleman who showed me where item pickup is. It's in a unmarked section of the store, a bit hard to find. The man working the pickup counter was very nice and helpful. He got my order all picked up and really in under 5 minutes. He made my experience so much better, since it was a bit deserted and hard to find. I'm so happy with the level of service. They have a ton of clothes too, and I head the auto center is nice. We came back a few hours later and the place was deserted. Typical, but there was a guy working earlier in the mattress department but he was now gone. We asked the one and only cashier for assistance in the mattress department. She paged for assistance but said there would probably be nobody to help us because the guy from that department was on lunch. We were set on buying 2 mattresses from Sears so we waited 30 minutes. We returned to the lone cahier and asked if anyone could help us and she said no. We told her we were ready to spend $3,600 on mattresses and just needed someone to ring us up. She told us there was nobody to help us. We asked if we should just go somewhere else and she said yes. Discouraged, we headed out. We passed an office and I saw 2 employees sitting there. I stuck my head in and asked if anyone was working the floor. A manager jumped up and said she could help us. She was worthless! She had no idea what she was doing. 30 minutes later the original mattress guy returned from his lunch and tried to save the day. Unfortunately, the beds were ringing up incorrectly. The employee paged the manager repeatedly for another 30 minutes until she finally returned his page. Move ahead to 2/19/20, we're supposed to receive a call when our order is ready for pickup on the 18th but no word. So, I call on the 19th and they tell us our order is ready. We drive 30 minutes to the distribution center to pick up our order. The employee automatically knows there's an issue. He said he unloaded the beds the day before and noticed one of the bed frames were missing and let his manager know. He said his manager said it wouldn't be an issue. He was very apologetic. Mistakes happen. Then we were told the bed frame wasn't available until 2/28/19. We asked for the bedframe to be delivered for free. We paid $3,600 for 2 beds and the manager threw a fit that we wanted one of the bedframes delivered for free. She finally agreed. Today, 2/28/20, our delivery time is between 6pm and 8pm. I receive a call from Jose the delivery man at 6:50am (way too early!) saying he can't deliver that late in the day and to text him an earlier time. I sent him a text at 8:35am saying between 4pm and 6pm would work. No response. I called him at 6:58pm and no response. It is now 8pm and no delivery. I called the distribution center at 8:05pm and spoke to Jeff. He told me delivery drivers were not allowed to alter deliver times outside of the two-hour window unless approved by the customer. I did approve an earlier delivery time but no response. I was told the driver had checked out for the day and someone would call me tomorrow to arrange another delivery date.
