Daniel made us feel important and cared more about what we wanted and didn't seem to push a specific make on us. Extremely patient and seemed to know a lot. They delivered the free base, but never delivered the mattress. Now they say I can't cancel the mattress they still haven't delivered because I needed to cancel my order within a half an hour of submission. How would I know I would never get the item I paid for a half an hour prior? Additionally, they won't refund me my money and are charging me for the free base that came with the mattress that I never received. So they have my money. I have a "free" thing I don't want or need that I now have to pay for and they get to sell the mattress I just paid for to probably 100 customers to run the same scam.

This review is about the play area only…read more I'd heard that Living Spaces had a fabulous play area so I took my 3 year old over to check it out. Because I'd also heard that they get quite busy and that there can be a long wait to play, so we went over at 10 am (when they open) on a Tuesday. It paid off as we were the only ones there for about 10 minutes. So, the play area is pretty great- my son played independently for about an hour. Things to know: You have to fill out a waiver for each kid each time before they can play. Online forms are coming at some point. Word on the street is that weekends are so busy and crazy that they should be avoided. Parents are required to stay in the play area with kids 3 and under but are required to leave kids 4 and over with the attendants. They have an interesting looking cafe right outside the play area but it wasn't open while we were there.

I contacted customer service and they said that I would have to pay the restocking fee (plus the pick up fee) even though I have PROOF that their sales people flat out lied to me. My mom also wanted the lamps, so it took about three weeks from when I first emailed and when I received the lamps. (I was pleasantly surprised they would ship them to me without spending the 8,000.00 shipping minimum) They shipped them to two separate addresses and they did research on the cheapest way to ship them. I found a hole in one of the cushions of the sofa and they came out on the 17th and replaced the cushion. On May 30th I found a second hole in one of the other sofa cushions. I called and informed them that I wanted to return the sofa and loveseat at that point. Since then I have found a 3rd hole, though I digress. I ordered a new different sofa and loveseat that was a special order and would not arrive until July 15-18. I have called and talked to no less than 12 "customer service" people, all the while being told that "it would be another week". Today I called and was told that now it would be "another few weeks". By now I am livid! "Nikki" said she would call the manufacturer and call me back. She of course did not call me back. I called again and was told I could not be transferred to "Nikki",and spoke to "Chelsea". She informed me that yes, it would be another few weeks. I asked her if I could speak to a manager and she informed me that she and everyone there IS a MANAGER. I said that there HAS to be someone above her, she said "no, I report to no one". I informed her that now I am going to and find furniture SOME PLACE ELSE, and that I will then call and have AFW come and pick up this DEFECTIVE AND CRAPPY furniture and get a refund. She said "you can do that if you like". Honestly, this is NO WAY to treat customers! I have gotten furniture from AFW in the past and have never been treated like this. Trust me, DO NOT GWT FURNITURE FROM THIS COMPANY!! The value for the money you spend is simply CRAP! And apparently they do not care.

They gave us the WRONG mattress, not only that they said it was our fault for not double checking the name/number on the invoice. Since we signed for it they will not pick up or drop off the correct one! I checked price and the is said Sealy Hybrid, I wasn't aware I was expected to do their job for them and check all the sub-names/numbers! Seriously, be good at your job and make up by just delivering the right mattress! My husband just got in a car accident, hence the new mattress, and cannot bring it back and forth....AND IT'S YOUR FAULT!
