Incompetent and dishonest…read more Had some gutters that needed to be replaced. The gutters that were replaced leaked - there was an actual whole in one corner. One section actually ran (slightly) uphill. The drip edge from the roof was not used so the run-off from the roof fell between the facia and the gutter (ie leaked). In addition, after 'completion', the business owner declared that his bid was for gutters only and not downspouts. Along with all that, at the end, he tried to increase the formerly agreed on price.

During my last call to Jasmin I was promised a call back in 24 hours and it has been 3 weeks. Same problem with Gabriel, promised a call back in 24 hours never called. I have left numerous messages. This is by far the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They need to avoid the Home Show from this point on with this type of horrible service. You all should be ashamed of yourselves!! I have all of my phone calls saved for proof. Avoid this business at all costs, imaging trying to get hold of them if you have an issue.....no thanks! After…read morespeaking with Yasmin and Gabe I chose a beautiful blue cabinet with a grey/white granite countertop. Unfortunately you can't see the slab in person before purchasing, but Gabe reassured me that the slab I choose did not have any purple or red in it. I absolutely did not want purple or red in my granite. The cabinets were supposed to take 3 weeks to come in. They arrived late. I was at work the day they were installed. My fiancé had sent some pics throughout the day so I could see the progress. I came home excited to see my new cabinets. I was completely disappointed when I arrived. My beautiful blue cabinets were scratched and had areas of paint rubbed off. My new laminate floors had a HUGE scratch along 3 planks. Crooked doors, gaps and the sides of the counters were pine color instead of blue, and the appliances were not installed correctly. I contacted Gabe and he reassured me the issues would be taken care of. Then comes the granite install. To start the granite has purple specks in it. I was devastated when I say this. And since it was already ordered and paid for there was absolutely nothing I could do.(Make sure you find a place that will show you your slab in person before buying) They scratched up my cabinets even more while putting the granite on my island, they broke the granite behind the stove and didn't tell me. They twisted the front of the sink base when putting the granite on. I had Gabe and his installers out on several occasions to fix these issues, but it still isn't right. I've given up trying with them. Gabe seems nice, but his installers are terrible. They try and make quick, easy fixes, but it just ends up looking like crap. It got to the point that I didn't want them back in my house. Gabe offered to have them replace the broken granite, but I decided not to let them. I was also going to have them do my back splash, but that won't be happening either. I will saw that the did give me a credit for the cost to fix my floor. All in all I went 4 months without a kitchen and spent close to $10,000 to get a kitchen that makes me sad every time I walk in to it. I do not recommend them and have already warned a friend that is looking to remodel her kitchen to stay very far away from this company.

The general contractor, Bruce Cosper, was never on site. He showed up a day or 2, or an hour or so…read morein the morning, once in a while. He left the construction up to his son Asa and a helper. Bruce agreed to construct the foundation per mutually agreed upon consultation and plans. He did not do so. We had to insist on modification that should not have been necessary, either time or money wise. Asa did not understand the building system we were using, did not ask questions of us, an architect/owner who could and did provide drawings. Most egregiously, Asa did not refer to drawings provided to him, and constructed walls incorrectly. Asa and Bruce acknowledged this, then Bruce, his father, told us we would pay for him to make this mistake and we would also pay to correct them! The work was slow and sloppy. We told Asa repeatedly that the wall panels faced with cement board was our finished surface and please take care with them. Instead Asa handled them carelessly, causing extensive damage, and even stepped on a panel right in front of one of us, breaking off a large section. I have photos and video of this behavior. Bruce charged us multiple times over the budget/estimates he provided because of his poor work, slow work, inadequate, inexperienced, crew, unnecessary mistakes and for this he charges a 20% markup on all material and services! For what ???? To be over budget and months behind. I would never recommend this contractor.

I have been using Affordable service on my home and rental properties. I asked them to clean out a…read moreplugged sewer line January 8th. I was in Albuquerque and wasn't here to meet the "Technician", but tenant filled me in on his activity. The "Technician" left stating the drain was open but would probably plug again. The drain clean outs were not used as it was under ground about 3 inches. I worked for a plumber in the 60's and would have known to look for the clean outs outside the house. This guy didn't have any idea what he was doing as he used an inch and a half tub/sink drain clean out to attempt to clean out a four inch line. I left a message on 1/18 and sent an email asking for someone to come out and finish the on 1/21. I will be calling someone else to do the job and suggest you call another company for your sewer problems. It is a shame they don't return calls. They just lost a customer who has been with them several years.
