I've noticed people opening them to get the new ones before they're outdated. As I type this mid-January, Halloween decorating magazines are still out, Christmas cooking and decor magazines still in boxes. One female staffer snapped at me for looking through open boxes of unshelved mags that "she's working on it!" This mystery worker was nowhere in sight. Why didn't the snapping staffer work on it instead of walking around biting at customers? On the plus side, there are probably a dozen different Harry Styles magazines everywhere and up at checkout counters so if you're into that silliness, you'll be pleased to know what they prioritize. Not a store for serious readers.

My book was waiting for me at front desk! Prices are very reasonable and can special order if needed to. Nice to know! Since there are no Barnes and Noble book stores in town or on the Beach! They may walk by and notice you are looking for a certain item and ask as they pass if they can assist you but without pressuring you. I could shop in that store all day long. If I was rich I would spend my money right there. You can find things to decorate your house with and pretty clothes, esp for kids and pretty gifts for any kind of event.
