The chatbot can connect you to a real person (via chat only) but the real people don't work weekends, and they only "open a ticket" for your issue. Nobody ever got back to me about the ticket I opened. I was ignored. I placed an order online of around $5k, and a significant portion of that order arrived incorrect - missing parts where it says the part was delivered - double counting/delivery (& double charging) of other items - item descriptions that are misleading (chairs that claim to ship with mounting hardware but arrive with nothing). The online store also made a big mistake with my bank causing about $1900.00 of my money to be held by W.M. for 6 days after the order was cancelled. If I had a good alternative to W.M. with as large an inventory, I would not use W.M. at all. But I don't have another good option that I know of (yet), so I'm stuck with W.M. for now. I guess they know that, and that's probably why they don't care about good customer service.

After shopping the Panama City store several times over the past half dozen years or so, I'm confident that this one is above average for the chain. The store is always clean and well merchandised. The staff are visible, knowledgeable and most importantly, helpful. If you're a boater, you'll eventually need something from West Marine. They've got it all, from boat and trailer parts, electronics, safety gear, cleaning supplies, fishing gear, shoes and apparel, etc. I wish the prices were a bit more competitive, but that's boating!

The owners son helped us out today and was excellent. The store is located right off I-10 if your traveling by Tallahassee and is worth a stop. They have surplus from many different countries, including high end military collectibles. I was greeted with kindness and treated like family. Jimmy and David answered my questions and helped me find what I needed. I was pleasantly surprised to find Gander is part of their store. Not only did they let me stay in their lot, they hooked me up to power and water and didn't charge me anything. They Introduced me to their manager, John, who was equally inviting. The showroom and the store were very nice. I, of course, found some things at Gander I could not pass up and Hunter took good care of me at the store. The next day I asked about staying another night and David said that would be perfectly fine. He even recommended a bike trail close by. When a problem arose numerous people came together to help. These folks have earned my business in the future.

I purchased a Furrion Chill Cube air conditioner from Camping World in Dothan less than 30 days…read moreago. I installed it and used it one time without issue. On the second use, the unit stopped cooling completely. I went back to Camping World expecting them to stand behind a product they had sold me less than a month earlier. Instead, I was told I would have to deal directly with the manufacturer. I understand that manufacturer warranties ultimately go through the manufacturer, but when a product fails almost immediately, I expect the retailer to make some effort to support the customer and the product they sold. What made the experience worse was how it was handled. The service counter staff were short and dismissive, and speaking with the manager did not improve the situation. There was very little effort to help resolve the problem or even acknowledge the frustration of having a brand new unit fail right away. To be fair, the manufacture (Furrion/Lippert) has been responsive so far, and I appreciate their assistance. My complaint is specifically about Camping World of Dothan and the lack of after-sale customer service. A brand new air conditioner shouldn't fail after essentially one use, and a customer shouldn't feel abandoned less than 30 days after spending their money. Based on this experience, I would be very hesitant to purchase another major RV component or anything else from this location. Selling the product is one thing. How you handle a problem afterward says much more.

From informing me about the different layers I would need to helping me find the right size thermals, ski pants, ski jacket and gloves. I was able to try everything on to make sure it fit. This place has top quality brands. The staff is very knowledgeable. They also have a lot of stuff for hiking. The store has apparently been around for quite a while and I would highly recommend it for your hiking/camping/skiing needs.
