Jaime did a great job. We reduced the clutter and setup a way to manage my everyday household flow.

I'd seen Jaime work her magic on my roommate's personal dissater area, also known as her closet. She had layers and rows of clothes jammed packed into 5'x4' space, and was beginning to spill out into a shared hallway closet. Needless to say, I was totally shocked when I arrived home from holiday break to a smiling roommate, and a highly organized closet. When I saw what Jaime was capable of, I knew I had to utilize her services. Flash forward two years, roommie and I are moving to separate cities. I just had surgery, and really couldn't get my packing done. I especially didn't want to begin packing knowing that I was moving to a smaller place on the other side of the country. I called Jamie, and we set up time right away. In the span of three days, Jaime gauged my needs, put together a plan of action, and fully executed. I couldn't do much physically, so Jaime did all of the heavy lifting. She helped me sort through and prioritize my clothes, gadgets, herbs, papers...oh the papers, and pack them into 4 large boxes, and 3 small book boxes. Jaime organized all of my donations and delivered them to various shelters. She also took time to list all of my large furniture items. i was completely helpless and hopeless prior to Jaime stepping in, unsure of how I was going to make this cross country move without my "legs." Jaime really turned my move into a stress free operation. She went above and beyond what was required because of her personal work ethic. Jaime and her associates are wonderful at sifting, organizing, disposing and putting things in order. She makes recommendations for inexpensive containers to get beforehand and brings things, as well. If items need to be donated, she packages those items, takes them for donation, and provides records for tax purposes. She even assesses items for the types of donations -- Dress for Success or Salvation Army, etc. Give her parameters for organization, and by day's end, your home is an oasis. We have moved many times, due to our intl. finance careers and I must say, Jaime Selvin and her entire team of miracle workers at "A New Leaf" Organizing and Move Services were absolutely phenomenal! They hit the ball out of the park in every category from professionalism and intel to caring and gentility. I absolutely loved each and every one of her team members. They handled very expensive and exquisite pieces of artwork and couture clothing, they went out and got better storage items, when needed, they cleaned the new home better than they found it.... Jamie did an amazing job getting my kitchen organized. It is the largest space in the house and when it looks messy, everything around it does too. General clutter, books, toys and most things did not have a home. I know that the job was tough and required many hours, but I was incredibly impressed with her work. I also like the fact that the client is involved with the process. I felt like a bew person when she finished. I had organized shelves and cabinets and a place for every item in my kitchen. I cannot say enough amazing things about Jaime and her staff. I have had them out to my home on several occasions for a variety of needs. I am currently ring treated for cancer and unable to tackle several projects around my home with he intent on listing it for sale in year or so. In addition my very sloppy and disorganized 26 yr old son is relocating to CO. He is a pack rat. First Cathy and Paula came out and completely organized the unfinished storage area of my basement--- it looks amazing and clutter free. All is labeled and the donation and trash piles tackled. My basement Pub was also reorganized and feel I can open up for Happy Hour and Super Bowl! My son is packed and ready to move and stress free for us all. My pantry, office and personal business closets are filed, labeled and completely organized. My lifetime photo collection is whittled down from several large rubber,aid tubs to 4 photo boxes size of shoe boxes-- all rated and labeled. Cathy has literally removed months of stress and h,sped me get closer to readying to move--- allowing me to battle my chemo treatments. They have worked with my crazy schedule and become so supportive. I think everyone should experience what A New Leaf can offer to make your life operate smoother and stress free. After many attempts to organize my basement, which was filled with boxes and junk, with no success, Jaime came in and after 8 hours of nonstop work, she removed all the clutter, emptied all the boxes, many that had not been opened in over 12 years, cleaned and organized the entire space. She removed all the boxes, helped me go through the piles of clothes that I was then able to give to a charity. I was totally amazed in her work ethic and her ability to tackle a job I thought was impossible. Once finished, she sat down with me offering suggestions on how to keep the room clean and organized. Over 30 years of accumulated clutter, I was putting off, Jaime helped enabled me to do the unthinkable and get rid of stuff and organize. Through Freecycle.com , I cleared junk out of my basement. I went through years of papers- I took boxes to a community shred. I went through drawers and sorted & and got rid of stuff. I also went sorted through books and donated a lot of I am a musician with years of accumulated musical equipment which I no longer use ....Jaime arranged for the equipment and instruments to be donated to local high schools. Also she helped me organize my kitchen.(I would keep an eye on her though ,..as she works really fast, and she does ask before she pitches - I had to rescue a few items from the trash bags I changed my mind . The main reason I mention this is that I had a bag full of 100+ used batteries which I had intended to go to the Recycling Center which we couldn't, so I guess they ended up in a land fill ) Once a saw how she worked. I was able to continue to accomplish a lot of the downsizing on my own! I would never in my wildest dreams been able to accomplish this without the impetus and help of someone like Jaime...She is super organized, congenial, professional, non-threatening and friendly at same time. I used Jamie Selvin of "A New Leaf" to help get my fathers apartment ready for sale. She couldn't have been more helpful. Jamie alerted me that some of the teakwood furniture had value which I hadn't known, was immensely helpful in boxing and moving the contents of the apartment and got more done in a short time than I ever thought was possible.
