Working with her during my home renovation was incredible - she had such a great way of envisioning our space and suggesting things that I never would have thought of on my own. Every idea she suggested was spot on, practical and very clever, and perfectly fit how we actually live. She came up with the idea of turning an inaccessible corner of our kitchen into a cozy pet food nook in the mudroom, which was a great use of what would otherwise be wasted space. She also suggested converting our old coat closet into a pantry when we expanded the kitchen, and it's been a game-changer. She encouraged me to rethink the original plans for stove and microwave placements, which was 100% the right call. All those considerations and smart suggestions have made such a huge difference in how our home feels and functions. As of this writing Simplify You has a perfect 25 5 star reviews, and I am excited to provide the 26th. My family spent 2 years living abroad and to prepare for that trip we dumped our entire 3 story townhouse into a 10 sq foot storage unit. Since getting back, we've spent the past 5 months taking out boxes, processing them, and sorting them into our new smaller apartment. The frustration of this experience was ever present - as soon as we got the apartment in a good place we'd go get 10 more boxes and restart the whole cycle, leaving us feeling underwater and overwhelmed. We also have a 5 year old and a 6 month old, so the time we were able to invest in the house was always limited and at the end of an exhausting day. Before hiring C.Lee I would have guessed we had another 2-3 months of clutter hell before we would be in the clear. Then we hired Simplify You, and everything changed immediately. When we hired C.Lee we assumed there would be 2-3 day-long sessions to get the last mountain of boxes down and our home finally FINALLY orgainzed. Instead, C. Lee came with one assistant Amy, and in just 8 hours of hard work between them, me, and my wife, we managed to process and store the final 25 or so boxes from our previously bottomless storage unit, AND sort all the things we still had lying around, AND completely reorganize our kitchen, master walk in closet, bedroom, and kids bedroom. Just take a peep at the pics I posted if you need proof - she and her assistants transformed my toe-up, stuffed to the girls, storage room of doom into an actual functional, organized space. I had the pleasure of working with C. Lee for 2 separate jobs: move-in/closets and kitchen. Five months after moving in, I still hadn't unpacked, or organized any of the rooms of my home. I was feeling overwhelmed with how to get organized in my new home. C. Lee came over to walk through my home with me and we came up with a plan. My home has very shallow closets, so I was planning to use one of the bedrooms as a dressing room. I had just accepted the fact that I would need to get rid of my assortment of dressers and shelves and buy new furniture, but she had a great idea for incorporating everything I already had into the dressing room. Even with the consultation fee, this idea saved me money (AND the hassle of getting new furniture). C. Lee Crawley and her team were absolutely amazing. I desperately needed straightening and organizing services in my house for years (not a small feat with two young kids and a husband who likes to 'collect'), and she and her team fit the bill amazingly. Three of them were at my house for two days tackling projects and rooms from top to bottom that I've just never had the chance, time or energy to get to. I've spent years with things in the wrong place, badly organized, just weighing on my mind, and she took care of it all. Thoughtful, professional and nice, we were able to donate things that were still good (I do hate wasting), and I threw away and recycled tons of other stuff. It was helpful for me to be there (working from home) those days to answer questions and make some decisions, but they were very independent and worked with little oversight. In addition, we were getting ready for a long summer trip and were AirBnBing our house out, and she helped us organize and think through other issues with regards to that (towel/sheet organizing, clearing out some kitchen and personal items, finding places for valuables etc). I used Simplify You during my "nesting phase" of pregnancy. C Lee helped me in every area of my house... from the laundry room, to the closets, to under the sink space, to kitchen efficiency, etc. She came for an evaluation and was very prompt in her timing and was ready to get started right away. C. Lee is delightful, and has worked with me on various projects over the past several years. She finds out in advance what is needed, shows up on time, dressed to work (right down to knee pads, and tool belt with scissors, measuring tape, label machine, etc)! She brings the containers for the job with her and you pay only her cost. I love the pattern & colors she chose for my memorabilia boxes so much that I'm using the color scheme in my office decor! I have hired C Lee Cawley / Simplify You for multiple projects in two different houses over the years, and she is absolutely wonderful to work with! Even my husband, who was initially skeptical of the cost, now agrees that C Lee's improvements were some of the best things we invested in for both homes. I was a little nervous when I contacted C.Lee to help me organize my kitchen before a renovation, but I was STUCK and would have brain freeze when I just opened the spice cabinet! She and two fabulous helpers came and organized my kitchen from top to bottom. She brings all the supplies needed -- from big bins for the pan lids, little lazy susans for the olive oil and vinegars to little trays for the gizmos in the junk drawer -- which isn't even a JUNK drawer any more! While organizing, she also helped me part with a ton of stuff that I actually never used... AND then she wrapped it all, boxed it and took it away to a charity. Now, when I do get around to the renovation, it won't be such an ordeal! The three organizers were all delightful to have around and all made good suggestions and really worked hard!
