Before taking a trip to Whistler Blackcomb, my husband and I came here for a refresher lesson. We…read moredid a group lesson and alternated with another family of three. We probably got 25 minutes out of an hour on the slope, and the coach was not really giving us personal instruction. We skied, and the "lesson" focused more on how to use the simulator than how to ski more advanced. We are at the intermediate level (can parallel ski, control speed and turns, run moguls, etc.), and it seemed like the instructor may specialize in beginner instruction. It was a nice warm-up for our trip, and we each had a takeaway that made us feel like it wasn't a waste; however, I wouldn't spend that money again for the value received.
