Bass players rave that this is the place you must check out--and now, I fully understand why. Before making the trip, I reached out to Beaver, the owner, via email. He was quick to respond, and incredibly detailed and thoughtful in his replies. He made sure all my questions were answered and gave me expert advice, which made me feel 100% confident in my purchase before I even set foot in the store. Unfortunately, due to some last-minute circumstances, I couldn't make it to the store to pick up the gear myself. Therefore, my wife, who knows nothing about bass gear, had to step in. She said the in-store experience was exceptional. The staff of Mike, JD, and a fellow named Grasshopper were super knowledgeable and passionate. They went out of their way to make her feel comfortable. In addition, they set up and tested everything, ensuring it was in perfect working order, and even helped her load the heavy amp and cabinet into her car. As for the Ampeg, it sounds phenomenal--rich, powerful, and exactly the tone I was after. If you're beginner, intermediate, or professional bass player, you need to visit Bass Central. Forget the big chain stores; this place offers a phenomenal selection and customer service that goes above and beyond. I couldn't recommend it more!

I have a guitar that I, embarrassingly, couldn't get to be playable for over a year. I dropped it off and by the next day had a wonderfully working instrument. Troy, who I believe is the owner, went over the all the possible issues with me and it ended up being a simple repair. Other than that, inside the shop was filled wall-to-wall with guitars, basses, ukuleles, and plenty of accessories. I didn't check out the prices so I can't comment on that, but there was definitely plenty to choose from. It was a really cool shop and I hope I get to go back soon.

There are many rooms, seats, the school has an open mic event every so often, they rent instruments also and there are several pianos available for piano lessons... which means they also offer voice lessons. My youngest comes here for violin lessons, she is very happy and the instructor makes things easy, interesting and fun, which is what kids are really looking for: to have fun. His truck and box trailer were immaculate, organized, perfectly designed to move pianos with moving blankets, straps, etc. Steve carefully moved and guided the piano through the house, down the stairs, out and to his trailer perfectly. No bumps, no close calls. He drove carefully to the house where the piano was to be delivered and easily moved it up the stairs and down a narrow hallway with about 1/2 inch passage space on either side of the piano and placed it carefully where it belonged. I can easily recommend him without any reservation. He has over 30+ years of experience, and it shows. He also tunes pianos. His price for the move was very reasonable. It is obvious he enjoys his profession and strives for excellence.
