My wife missed an appointment at A NuDo because i took her to the hospital that day and she was diagnosed and admitted for pneumonia. A couple of days later I checked my credit card statement and a NuDo charged us $65 for a missed appointment. I called Kristine, the owner, and she said that my wife had missed one previous appointment so that is why she charged us and it didn't matter that my wife was in the hospital with pneumonia. BTW I called the salon the morning my wife was in the hospital and told them she couldn't make the appointment that afternoon since she was in the hospital. The service experience was good. She delivered what I asked. I was late due to a genuine misunderstanding of what time I was booked. (I'm typically early and mindful of hairstylists time so I felt bad and expressed it) the vibe was a little awkward because of that. It was my very first time trying this salon. Though the service provided was nice I felt they could've been friendlier for sure. I would definitely have tried the owner. She seemed a little more sweet and understanding. I didn't receive a message or email or phone call to be fair and she took accountability for that without me saying so I appreciated that. I also asked for more info on services and pricing and felt the stylist I got was vague and dismissive instead of welcoming and informative, she just told me to refer to their website. Overall I love the services they offer. I'd love to come back but again I would try a different hair stylist due to the uncomfortable awkward situation from front desk and my hair stylist. They were sweet but again kind of rude over a genuine mistake. Just something to think about. read more

Not especially skilled at what they do. Dirty building, hostile environment and staff. Ironically more expensive than A Salon which is leagues above them and almost as expensive as the wonderful Grand Salon. read more

So, I have actually been going to Christina for years (like 6 years!) , so I assume that's long enough to leave a good review for her and know what I'm talking about! There is a reason I have been going to her for a long time--she knows what she's doing, my hair always looks great after I leave (even though she knows I end up putting it in a clip 90% of the time!)! Her shop is always clean and the people are always friendly. Even if you have to wait (either for the stylist or while your hair is setting) they always offer you something to drink or a magazine. If you want fun place to tan, get your nails done, or get your hair done, this is a great place. They also do a Ladies Night, which is fun! They have other small companies selling clothes or purses or whatever, they always have good food, and I also see a lot of husbands there! read more

It was my first time at A Nu Do salon, but I was so impressed that I can not wait to share this best kept secret in Brighton with everybody else. Very contemporary and upscale look, makes you feel very good. Great customer service, I was greeted at the door and asked if I want something to drink, my stylist also greeted me and asked me if I needed anything. My stylist Amy did amazing job on my haircut and she charged me only $25 which was shocking, I expected to pay at least $40 plus I got coupon from www.BestDealsDenver.com (Brighton) for free eyebrow wax with the haircut. Pretty amazing and awesome deal! Kristina did my eyebrow wax and she took her time and created great shape for my eyebrows. This was my first time at A Nu Do after driving by for a while. This is the worst hair cut and color I have ever had! After 2 hours and 45 minutes you would think the job would have been great but NO it is awful! I think I could have done a better job with an off the shelf kit from Walmart and a mirror!
