I got a color correction with Samantha (Sammi) Lau here after a horrible highlight/balayage went wrong elsewhere as my hair came out this orange-copper mess that just wasn't it. Sammi took it from that to a really lovely beige blonde, and I'm so happy with how it turned out. The correction took about 4 hours and ran roughly ~$120/hour, which felt fair given how much work went into fixing it. I waited to post this until it had grown out some, because that's the real test of a good color job, and it's held up seamlessly. No weird line where the old color meets new growth, no brassiness creeping back in. That tells me she really got the formula right, not just a quick fix that looks good for two weeks. If you've had a color disaster somewhere else, Sammi's your girl. So glad I found her! read more

Very expensive service for not doing what I asked for. I asked for my hair to return to my natural color and she went darker. Also got hair dye all over my face, and all over my clothes. I washed my hair a few days later and somehow the hair dye touching my shirt also stained my shirt. SUPER MESSY. Please work on this, your salon ruined my new matching set and shirt. Additionally, the stylist missed an entire chunk of my hair, as seen pictured. Again, very sloppy job & you can just tell this is a salon that wants to filter in any many people as they can possible. read more

Kari was very kind and helpful when it came to scheduling my appointment. The hairstylist, Alexeia, is very talented and knows what she's doing! I went in not really knowing what I want. She saw the inspiration photos and I let her know my budget, she worked with me to understand the process and the expectation. I probably can't say enough good things about this place and the people who work together there. It is a wonderful and diverse group of people who genuinely care about their clients and each other. At a different salon, I got a really bad bleach and tone and was feeling horrible about myself. I never wore my hair down and my hair was truly damaged. It definitely took some of my confidence away. I came here based on a recommendation by a neighbor and I am SO glad I did! I literally had a group of experts helping me with m y hair the first time I came in. People were so kind and empathetic and worked together to make suggestions on what the best plan of action was for my hair. I had never seen a group of stylists be so helpful and collaborative together. You can tell there's definitely a great culture there! I have only been back there since and I am still so grateful for them and am over the moon with how my hair is now. It's healthy and beautiful! Because I trust my stylist, Rachel, we were able to do something really fun and bold and I LOVE It! I feel pretty and confident. I came in earlier today and had a mixed experience. My cut and highlight look fantastic, but unfortunately the service I received wasn't great. Like I had no idea they offered clients complementary drinks until I happened to overhear a different stylist asking their client if they'd like any soda, water, or coffee. And then my phone died while I was waiting for the color to set, so I asked my stylist if they had an outlet I could plug my phone cord into, and all she said was "no." So then I said, "um okay well do you guys have any magazines or something for me to look at for the next 30 min or so while I'm waiting?" And again all she said was, "no" and walked away (I didn't even get a chance to ask why, and she didn't elaborate any more then the "no"). I ended up asking a different girl about it and she said they got rid of their magazines because of covid, which is understandable, but maybe they should get a TV or something so that other people in my same situation have something, ANYTHING to do while they wait! I ended up spending the 30 min either shamelessly staring at the other people in the salon, or slyly scooting closer to anyone in the nearby vicinity who seemed to be having an interesting conversation so that I could eavesdrops, as I really, truly, didn't know how else to entertain myself. At this point I'm wondering why I'm being treated like this, and come up with the idea that maybe if I pay and tip now, the rest of the appointment will go a lot better. So I paid while I was stuck waiting and stupidly tipped her 20%, which I sorely regret, as the rest of the appointment wasn't much better (though she did at least seem to be a little less curt towards me). After the highlight set in she gave me the most aggressive scalp massage ever, (which was painful at times) and didn't even bother asking if the water felt like it was a good temperature. She literally out my hair, and I say that in the most literal sense, as my hair felt like it was a mop she was wringing out, which obviously would be a little painful for anyone to have you hair pulled that hard? Throughout the whole visit the only 2 questions she ever asked me were "what color do you want your highlights" and "how much length do you want me to trim off." I didn't even get a "how are we doing today?" Like I said, she still did a fantastic job on my hair, I love it! Which is why I only knocked off two stars (instead of giving this place just one or two stars, like I would in any other situation). But I still don't understand why I was treated like this, like I left the salon wracking my brain over what I possibly could've "done wrong" to have received the kind of treatment I did? So in conclusion, while I personally won't be coming back here because I never want to see that stylist again, I would only recommend this place if you already knew or knew-of the stylist you would be receiving beforehand... read more

I'm disappointed to have to write this review because I thought I had found my forever salon here. I had originally booked my first cut in July over the phone. Then on the day before my appointment they asked me to come in earlier because there was a conflict. So I came in earlier, at the new time, and then was told I had to wait due to a mixup. Frustrating, but I can be understanding. A different stylist ended up getting my shampoo started while my stylist finished with her color appointment. I received a free scalp treatment to makeup for it, and I left happy. Fast forward to my next appointment, which I booked in person 2 months in advance-- I again received a call the day before saying there was a conflict and to come in at 4:45 instead of 5:30. I call back and let them know I can try to make that work. Hours later once the salon has closed, I get an automated message saying my appointment is confirmed for 4:30. Ok...so the time changed again. I don't have the ability to call in and ask for the actual time because I was hiking, so I rush to make it by 4:30 and again...I'm told to wait until 4:45. Finally, I get in the chair and my entire appointment is so rushed. I don't have any complaints about the haircut, but if I'm dropping $70+ on my hair, I expect to have exceptional service. The stylist parted my hair incorrectly (and didn't bother to ask how it should be parted). She also sprayed a useless conditioning treatment in my hair to makeup for it that she didn't even want to take the time to mix together. I was actually nervous in the chair with how fast she was trying to get everything done. I realized that if you're just getting a haircut and no color treatments, this salon doesn't care about respecting your appointment time. Their whole goal is to prioritize the clients spending the most money on a color service, letting them book over and shuffle other lesser appointments around, and squeeze in as many as possible to make as much money as they can. This salon has a beautiful atmosphere and I'm sure you receive a white-glove experience if you're getting a color service. But for those of us who deserve a luxurious experience with just a shampoo, cut & style, I would suggest to book elsewhere. read more

I had no idea it was possible to leave a hair salon this happy! I had an unfortunate biolage incident from another salon that I wanted to fix. I found Salon Cosabella online and saw they had a lot of good reviews and when I made an appointment, and the receptionist (not sure her name) was really nice on the phone. She booked me in for the next day, which was super great. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see how busy the salon was in the middle of a weekday afternoon. That's a good sign, right? I sat down into Bernadette's chair and she asked what I wanted, and she helped guide me to what might be a better solution for me, highlights. I went from patchy, uneven, sad, brassy biolage to full all over platinum highlights (I started with medium ashy brown hair) and I gotta say, I am so happy with the way it came out. My hair looks awesome! I feel like a 10. I never leave a hair salon feeling like that. Bernadette was so nice, competent, and clearly knows what she is doing. It actually took way less time than the previous two times I had my hair biolage highlighted, and was actually more affordable as well. The first time I went Rachel cut my hair and it came out okay, the 2nd time I went the receptionist told me Rachel was not available however another cutter (no stylist here) whom I was told is the best cutter for men, she sheared me like a sheep and not once did she ask me how it looked. UPDATE: Went in yesterday to get my hair fixed because Jamie (the owner) was such a sweetheart and reached out to me, and was willing to go above and beyond to try and get me satisfied with my hair. She set me up with a different stylist since we couldn't get our availabilities to sync up, so I ended up working with Lyndsay. And OMG...Lyndsay color corrected and re-highlighted my hair, and the end result was AMAZING!!! Major shout out to her because she is so talented, and so fun to talk to...and she's new to the team so give her some love! I'm so happy I gave this salon another shot. Choose your stylist carefully..... I had an "i can't believe I just paid for that" experience after seeing Lori. Several of my co-workers see other stylists here often and highly recommended the salon. I left a short 1hr and twenty minutes later and $160 lighter with the same grown out highlights I walked in with. I returned to have this disaster fixed two days later ending up with a whole lot of dry, damaged, brassy/gold highlights of which several started a good half inch from the root. I tried a couple other salons in the Broomfield area before finding Kristen at Salon Cosabella. I love how professional and on-trend she is! I always feel like I leave the salon with a great cut and color that works great for my style, face shape, and coloring. Kristen is so friendly and fun also! The salon is always clean and bright. It is also super close to my house, so I can walk when it is nice out! The salon itself I cannot complain about. The environment is amazing and clean to boot. It was actually one of the main reasons I chose to go there in the first place. After reading many positive reviews I'm actually pretty bummed that my experience wasn't the best. My stylist was actually pretty nice but i found it a tad rude that she was having conversations with other stylists around me instead of focusing on my head of hair. Especially since i went in with a pretty drastic request to cut my hair from long to above the shoulder length. My request was a short bob with layers. Not only did one side of my hair come out longer, but the layers were so poorly cut that it cant be fixed unless i want really short hair. Honestly I'm not even sure if you can call it layers, when in reality it looks like i have 1 layer. The hair even sticks out so its obvious how bad of a cut it really is. What made this even more sketchy is that I wear glasses and had to take them off while she cut my hair. Instead of letting me examine my hair when she was done, she insisted on me seeing the finished look after it was dry and curled *free of charge*. And know I know why she was so eager to give me free services to cover up her disastrous job. Overall, i am pretty bummed that i spent 50 bucks on a terrible haircut. I can't say that i will be returning as i really dont feel comfortable having a run in with this particular stylist, even if i am seeing a different one. In all, if she spent less time chatting and more time paying attention to what she was doing, she might have actually had a happy client. Unfortunately that was not the case. read more

I found this salon when I followed Ben over from his previous salon. It's a busy yet cheery salon. Very friendly folks and helpful, too. They are a high-end salon so their services are not cheap. When it comes to my skin and my hair, I would rather opt for quality products and services which is why I keep coming back. I am biased when it comes to Ben as he's been doing my hair, as well as my daughter's, for 3 years now. She has very thick hair and unfortunately, it had been butchered by other stylists until we found Ben. He knows exactly what to do with her hair, always keeping in mind what she wants as well. My sister and I have been going to Salon Cosabella for a few years and have been very happy with our stylists, Camilla and Summer. I was especially happy when they were able to book a last minute appointment for my teenage daughter today. Unfortunately I took her to another salon over the weekend expecting a trim and they butchered her long hair, cutting off 5 inches into uneven stacked layers.
