While there, the painter noticed that my eves were peeling so he gave me a quote for complete sanding of the eaves and repainting, powerwashing the exterior stucco, sanding/staining/coating our wood double-front door, and sanded/coated/painted metal lattices we have around the property. Always a good thing - A few days before we closed on the house, I called Alfonso of Valley Pro Painting and talked with him about what I needed done. Once I had the keys to our new house, I asked when he could come out to take a look at job and get us a quote. Next morning, he was there. I had a quote in hand by that afternoon. After comparing a few quotes, Valley Pro was competitive. Having a good word on quality of work from a trusted friend, we gave them the job. Work was fast, detailed and high quality. The job was stated on a Tuesday and complete by Friday evening. 2100 square feet of all walls, ceilings, base boards and doors in 4 days - quick!! I walked the house once complete and was extremely impressed. They were quick to offer a follow up visit for any touch ups needed or correction to things we found wrong. We honestly couldn't find anything major. Solid work all around. If you're searching for a skilled, high quality painter in the Central Valley, I'd highly suggest Valley Pro Painting. I will have them out again to paint my garage walls. ceilings and storage cabinets. They've got my business moving forward!

He is honest, friendly and very knowledgable about painting, including preparation, product and application. He listened to us and made helpful suggestions during the discussions about painting the exterior of our house. His estimate was one of three but his was the only one that included sufficient detail and explanation that convinced us that he understood not just what we wanted but what he was getting into with this job. He personally took charge of the contract signing and payments. We feel we received great value for the price. Prime Painting's experienced crew took direction from Mr. Arias and, under his leadership and guidance, they worked side by side with him performing prep work including power washing stucco and patching damaged siding, before launching into the spray painting followed by the detailed hand painting. Communication was very open and timely. Despite, several interruptions by rain followed by some drying out time, the job was completed close to the schedule. The crew even worked on a weekend and at least one nearly 12-hour day to play catch up!! Mr. Arias also went above and beyond and took care of some special requests as part of the overall job. We were so impressed with the work that we commissioned a new job from Prime Painting to coat our patio deck!! We are also planning to use Prime Painting to freshen up the inside of our house because of their attention to detail that is so important with interior trim.

The one with eve replacement was the highest of the four quotes and the one without was the third highest. I looked at the reviews from the four companies. I took my time to make a choice and Marvin and MV Kings reached out to see if I had any questions before my final decision. In the end the combination of the detailed quote, the follow ups and the reviews won me over. From the first meeting with Marvin he was professional, friendly and listened to my feedback. Throughout the process he kept me informed and was on time to all of his commitments. We had a little rain delay but he communicated and met the expectation. Overall the experience dealing with Marvin and MV Kings was pleasant and professional. Now the part I'm sure you really want to know....did they do a good job? Yes, the final product and detailed workmanship is beautiful. The job was no small task with a tri-level home on a hill in the country. From the patch work, board replacement, to the two tone paint, with a third color for the doors, to the final cleanup, a great job. Everything was properly masked off, bad siding boards were replaced and the new light fixtures we purchased were installed at the end of the job. Marvin and MV Kings did a great job and I am pleased with the overall experience and final product. From the estimate to the final walk-through, Erik & Adrian showed up on time, worked extremely hard (in the cold!), and kept us informed at every step. Erik bubbles with ideas and they're all great. They even tackled the tendrils left on the stucco from cutting back pesky ivy - and they won. As we walk around, we just shake our heads as we continue to notice small details that we didn't even know they fixed. These two aren't painters, they are skilled artisans. We will not hesitate to refer clients to Overall Painting - hire them. You won't be disappointed. (Photos aren't the best because it was cloudy, but trust me, it's stunning!)
