Very very disappointed. My husband ordered For Valentines day. No delivery. No phone call to say they could not deliver on Valentines Day. Husband called Friday. Was told the delivery van had broken down that they were sorry and they would give an upgrade. Friday 1 pm no flowers. Husband called They said they would deliver. No delivery Friday. Monday husband went to shop to request refund. Was told they would deliver flowers. Husband said no its too late ,credit my credit card. They said they could not do it then. They had to go somewhere. Monday flowers were delivered to the office. Very skimpy flowers. Very very sad. 5 roses 4 carnations 3 lilly stems. Lots of leaves. I'm very DISAPPOINTED with this place! (I should have read your reviews) I ordered flowers for my mother to be delivered on Friday. I called your store directly and the lady I placed my order with assured me the flowers would be delivered between 11:00 and 12:00 on Friday. I called multiple times Friday afternoon to check on the delivery status and I was assured they were in route to her. Whomever you have answering your phones is very rude and should not be handling customer calls! If anyone in my office would have spoke to our clients like this they wouldn't work for me! I wanted to surprise my mom with flowers for Mother's Day... well I did surprise her because she DID NOT receive her flowers yesterday! I was very upset after losing a dear aunt. I spoke with a very nice man at A Passion for Flowers. I live out of state, and wouldn't be able to attend the funeral, so wanted a beautiful bouquet of flowers delivered to my aunt's funeral, something that would represent the love I have for her. I ordered The FTD Deepest Sympathy Arrangement, and the man reassured me the bouquet would be full and beautiful. After the funeral, I spoke with family members who told me how beautiful the arrangement was, and that it was the loveliest arrangement there. 0 stars are not enough. Worst florist EVER! Keep away. I ordered flowers and they were never delivered. I called the shop two times, no one ever answers the phone. They sent a message saying the flowers had been delivered, not true! They have still not delivered the flowers one week after ordering. It's always a challenge to order flowers long distance. A passion for flowers left flowers at my girlfriends apartment who lives alone at 10pm on a Friday night. They did not leave a voicemail sent her a text message in broken English that made her think it was someone trying to stalk her. They never presented themselves as representing the company just that they had a flower for her. The sending of flowers is supposed to be a joyous occasion but instead it left her feeling unsafe all night. I understand the busy season but I will never use this company again. Not just Not Good but Terrible. Complete ripoff. After finding out who the local florist was (A Passion for Flowers in Robertsdale AL) we called. We had already called Avas Flowers several times. Each time being told the flowers were delivered. We called A Passion for Flowers and talked to a woman claiming to be the owner. She first said they had been delivered but when I called her out and told her who I was she changed her story. She said that she personally had taken over and would deliver that day. Nothing- no delivery and now she cannot even be reached. Terrible - over 100 dollars and no product. Mmm- someone is 100 dollars richer. Total RIpOff. read more

We ordered through 1-800-FLOWERS.com on April 18th to have the flowers, chocolates, and balloon delivered on May 7th as we knew that my in-laws had to leave town for work on the afternoon of May 8th. On May 7th, this company fraudulently claimed to have delivered the flowers. When confronted about their failure to deliver the flowers on the morning of May 8th they said, according to the 1-800-FLOWERS.com employee, "Well we are busy around Mother's Day and the items were reported as delivered to avoid being penalized by 1-800-FLOWERS.com for late deliveries." They then promised that our flowers would be delivered that day and were given my phone number by the 1-800-FLOWERS.com employee to call me and confirm the delivery information. Seven hours later and no one called so I called 1-800-FLOWERS.com back and asked them to confirm with A Passion for Flowers that my delivery was going to happen. According to the 1-800-FLOWERS.com employee the woman that answered the phone snapped "All the deliveries that didn't go out yesterday are out today!" She then proceeded to hang up on him as he attempted to verify my delivery was in that bunch. When the flowers were still never delivered, I cancelled my order with 1-800-FLOWERS.com and should be getting refunded. In summary, A Passion for Flowers essentially tried to defraud me for $116.60 for flowers they falsely claimed to have delivered and from what I can tell never actually made or intended to deliver. I will NEVER be using this company again and as a result I will not be using 1-800-FLOWERS.com to send flowers to my family in the Robertsdale area for concern they will once again use this poor excuse for a florist. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could, because they gave 0 service. A month later and still have not heard from anything about this issue. I called multiple times daily and finally got an answer about 1.5 weeks after the missed delivery. When I explained what happened the only thing the woman said was "give me your name and number. I'll have my manager look into it" and then I got a follow up email two weeks later from an automated system my flowers had been delivered at 11pm on a Sunday night (spoiler:they weren't). My wife placed an order for a Mother's Day arrangement for my mother via FTD which was assigned to this florist. Paid a LOT extra to have delivered before Mother's Day. She was told via email update early in the morning on Saturday May 9 that they would be delivered that day. Nothing. Email update on Sunday said the same thing. Again nothing. Monday she emailed back and forth with FTD, of course they are not allowed to tell us who the florist is that pulled the order from the queue. Florist kept telling them it would be that day by 8 pm. Again nothing. Same on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday they told FTD that they just got their flower order in and it would be delivered that day by 8. Again nothing. Same on Friday. It had by then been a week and this florist lied to FTD every single time, and at NO POINT EVER attempted to contact my wife to explain the delay or even apologize for missing the delivery 8 days in a row, nor any attempt to contact FTD to let them know they couldn't get the order done and assign it to a different florist. Just KEPT LYING ABOUT IT. On Friday my wife gave up and told FTD to just cancel the whole mess and forget we ever placed an order. Also - this is the same florist that did the exact same thing with my brother's order that was placed thru 1800flowers.com. They lied to them as well, but they got HIS order delivered late last week. Then, on Saturday my wife gets an email from FTD confirming the order was delivered. Not sure to where, because my mother was in her yard all day and nobody ever delivered anything. Checked all her neighbors as well, nothing. FTD said they spoke to someone at the florist, someone that became uncooperative and belligerent and told them yes they did deliver this order and my mother just needs to check again. You already ruined Mother's Day, for both mine and my brother's families, because of what's going on neither of us could be with our mother. You KNEW this was going to be a big deal this year and you completely FAILED to plan for it, and then instead of telling FTD and 1800flowers that you can't handle the volume, you still kept taking orders and lying about it. This was a customer service failure and this florist is the poster child for what not to do. This whole experience was a week of stress and trauma for my wife, who was just trying to do something nice for my mother with whom she already has a rocky relationship. Now today guess what shows up? The original order. No apology for wrecking Mother's Day at a time when we can't be there. No offer to make it right. No upgrade to the arrangement - literally exactly what was ordered. If you can't make a commitment you agreed to when you pulled that order from the FTD queue, then you need to IMMEDIATELY contact FTD AND the customer to let them know. DON'T LIE. DON'T MAKE EXCUSES. I have not even received my flowers yet and I am writing a poor review. My 85 year old mom ordered flowers over the internet as a surprise for our 30th anniversary. As we were heading out at 5.30pm I called the shop at 2.30pm to merely ask what time we could expect them to be delivered. I was met with a rude woman (who told me she is the owner) that there was no way she could even check my order and had no idea when it would be delivered. She was way too busy to do that and that it could be delivered up to 7pm. I explained we were going out at 5.30pm and that since it is 90 degrees outside I didn't want the flowers to sit outside in the heat and maybe I could meet the driver somewhere. She shouted at me saying she could do nothing about that, it wasn't her problem and slammed the phone down. My husband ordered flowers for me for Mother's Day. He called late in the day on Sunday to inquire when the flowers would be delivered and was told they would deliver them in the evening. We live in a gated community so he gave them a code so they wouldn't have any problems getting in. Monday rolls around still no flowers. I called at 9 a.m. and the gal who answered the phone apologized and said her manager would call back when she came in at 11:00. I called again at noon and whoever I spoke to bald faced lied to me and said she called my husband and told him we would receive an upgraded delivery once their shipment came in, but it would be between 4 and 7 p.m. Monday evening. We were out and about and we dropped off a map so the delivery person wouldn't have any problem finding us. They would not let us into the store tp pick something out due to Covid-19 concerns. Today is Wednesday and I still haven't received my flowers. I have never posted a bad review in my life till this one. They are not worth the 1 star that I gave them. I really even hate giving this florist one star!! I live in Florida and I was at the mercy of www.hospitalgiftshop.com to send an arrangement to my mother who just had open heart surgery. I picked what I thought would be a beautiful arrangement which had the price tag of $60 which I was also charged a $12 delivery fee. Needless to say, she did not get what I paid for. I placed an order for my wife for a special occasion to be delivered on a specific date. The arrangement arrived one day late which was very disappointing to my wife and embarrassing to me. The arrangement was supposed to be about 23" high and 14" wide with some lilies and other flowers/greenery. The arrangement that arrived measured only 13" high and 10" wide as measured. Some of the flowers were limp, brown and old looking. Not only was the arrangement much smaller than expected but also late. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I placed an order first thing in the morning on 10/1/20 for same day delivery. The order consisted of a house plant and 6 balloons to be delivered to my mom for her birthday. They were not delivered. The next day, I called and was told that the delivery driver had a flat tire and that they would deliver it "THIS MORNING" with chocolates as an apology. At 1pm my mom still had not received the delivery. I messaged the manager and was told it was out for delivery. At 2pm my mom received the delivery missing the plant!!! When I called, the manager informed me that they were having difficulties due to the hurricane (that took place 2 weeks prior). My mom told me that another lady in her office had the same issue a while back and actually received the delivery a few days late and again 2 weeks later! The manager was not even professional enough to call me. She texted her apology. When I called her, she did not seem apologetic, but bothered that I was complaining. This company needs to consider reevaluating their procedures and management. This is not an acceptable manner of business. I do not recommend this company. read more

My husband ordered me flowers Sunday, two days ago. After not getting them yesterday he had to make several phone calls. He was told I would get them today. It is 7:03 pm. I just got them delivered to my door step at 7pm! The delivery person did not ring the bell. Thank goodness I have a ring doorbell to notify me of someone out front. The flowers are okay, tulips with only one open. The card is a half sheet of paper printed out, cut crooked with no envelope. And everything smells of cigarette smoke. It is most definitely NOT worth the $80 bucks or so my husband spent. I am thankful I have a thoughtful husband. I am very disappointed in this bouquet of flowers. Don't waste your time here, folks! To be fair (maybe), my husband ordered online because when he clicked on Eastern Shore it was described as having high call volumes and ordering online would be best. It is not!! At 5pm my wife still had not received them and when I called to check on the order I was told they would be there by 7:30pm. I am writing this review because I want @1800Flowers and @FTD to know the type of service the florist they are using is giving. I was supposed to have an anniversary bouquet delivered yesterday and it was supposed to be the extra large bouquet from 1800Flowers. My husband was very disappointed the flowers weren't delivered on time and imagine my surprise when I received a text at 11:13 pm last night and I quote - I left a flower on ur front porch thank u. Now who does deliveries at almost midnight and who is going to answer the door at that time - No One! When I sent the picture of the flowers to my husband who is working out of town he was appalled because it wasn't close to what he had ordered. The roses were open and beginning to fade; there was too much greenery and it was all shoved in a little vase so nothing could breathe. I am no florist but I dont' believe that would have been an extra large bouquet. I did check out the F rating on Better Business Burea so you can't go any lower than that and their stellar Google and Facebook ratings. Buyer beware - they aren't nice when you call and you are not going to receive what you have paid for - I am not sure how they are still in business and that Robertsdale hasn't denied their license because of the complaints. The shop is not customer friendly and if you saw it you wouldn't want flowers from there anyway - they smoke in the building, etc - dirty. There are a lot of other florists in the area to pick from so make sure if you order from one of the online florists they don't use A Passion for Flowers and you can request a different florist as I found out today. I resolved the issue with 800Flowers because I know dealing with the local florist is a joke and no resolution would occur! read more

No STARS. I, unfortunately was hired by this company to help deliver flowers for Mothers Day this year. My son and I worked for a week until after 10 each nite, even working on Mothers Day delivering flowers, and have not been paid in full for our work. The building is very unprofessional and leaked like a sieve while we were there. When we were not delivering, we were told we could "make arrangements" for them to be delivered for Mothers Day. We told them we had never done that before and they did not care. I told them several times my arrangements looked NOTHING like the photos and they did not care. When we ran out of daisies and an arrangement called for daisies, they said substitute with something they had. When we ran out of Roses, substitute with something else. If we didn't have yellow carnations, take a white one and spray paint it. While we were there, they were allowed to drink beer while making arrangements and while taking orders. One of the "employees" even delivered flowers after drinking and making arrangements. I have been texting this company to be told I would receive documentation over and over as to what we were paid for, and told it would be emailed to me by one day, then received nothing. Then told another day, received nothing. Told I would get a call at 6 pm then nothing, call would come at 4 then nothing. Then I was told I was ugly and not very considerate because I am demanding documentation for what we were paid. I even made a "Rose Arrangement" that cost the family $149.00 for roses for their mother and honestly it looked crappy for that amount of money, but they didn't care. The overpriced flowers were to be delivered to my mother for Mother's Day, but never showed up (not on the designated day nor the day after). No phone call or anything was made informing us the flowers would not be delivered as planned. The day of the delivery the company was not answering their phone, nor the day after. Two days later, the company sent an e-mail stating they tried to deliver it the next day, but that was a lie. Someone was at home all day that day and looking for the delivery. An in person demand for a refund had to be made to resolve the issue. The business facility did not look professional. My daughter ordered flowers from A Passion for Flowers for Mother's Day. They were to be delivered on Saturday. My daughter called me on Sat.to see how I liked the flowers. I said what flowers. They were not delivered. She called and they said they would deliver on Sunday. The did arrive Sunday sometime after 5:00 p.m came home from dinner and they were by the door with no water and they were dead. I call them on Monday and told them what happened. The person who answered the phone was very rude and said someone would call me on Tuesday which never happened. BAD customer service and dead flowers. I would go someone where else.
