This place is a hidden gem! Store is neat and well organized, no weird thrifty smell, lots of treasures! Prices were great. Lots of nice clothes, housewares/furnishings, books, and jewelry! Store is in the corner of a small shopping center. Easy to miss, but worth the effort to find. Parking was plentiful. read more

While in Kitty Hawk for a week, me and a friend drove around to some of the thrift stores in the area. This was our favorite! There is one room for books and games, one room for everything "Kitchen and Household", an area for clothes and shoes and a nice showcase for small trinkets and jewelry. There were also some other shelves and sections for glassware and home decor. There were two dressing rooms but I can't remember if they were open. I walked out with a dress, scarf and three books for about $20. read more

Every time I visit the Outer Banks I make a trip here also. This is the best thrift/consignment store that I've seen so much to choose from. Nine brands gold jewelry, real leather purse. I purchased a pair of ASICS shoes for $14. That looked practically new. A pair of Merrell sandals for 8.75. There is also many books to choose from and many art pieces. The items here are from all over the world. There is lots of beautiful glassware to choose from; beautiful bud vases that very unique. I enjoy talking to the cashier/owner when I visit here. read more

Lovely thrift/consignment store. The person working at the front counter was very welcoming. She even allowed my daughter and I to use their ladies' room. Great selection of antique, vintage, and retail items. My daughter and I found some great deals. The clothing selection was a little small, but my daughter was able to also find great deals on clothes. We'll definitely be back! read more

I am so glad that I found this store! We stayed in the area for a week. We visited many thrift stores and when I saw this Thrift Store/Consignment Store I thought the prices might be higher, but I was wrong. The clothes prices were more reasonable than many of the Thrift Stores plus they were running many in-house sales-50%-75% off! The selections were better than all of the other stores. They have many great clothes, shoes, purses, jewelry, books, glassware to choose from. If I had only 1 store to shop from this would be the store I would choose! read more

This shop is bigger than it looks from the outside. Huge selection of clothing, shoes, and housewares, and a good showing in the tchotchke department. Standard consignment shop arranging of items and standard consignment shop prices. If you have the time, I think you could really find some treasures here. I was here with my husband who did not really have the patience for more than a cursory inspection. But if I were coming back, and I would, I would give myself about 90 minutes to hunt. And I don't think they were for sale, but this shop has an impressive collection of piggy banks on a shelf near the ceiling, including heads of my hero Jack Skellington and Dr. Finkelstein from the Nightmare Before Christmas. read more

This place is awesome! I wish more consignment shops were like this- full of all sorts of wonderful treasures, and some trash that could be someone else's treasure :) If you have even the tiniest bit of imagination you'll love this place- it's all reasonably priced and you can do tons of stuff with what you find in here... I saw a typerwriter (that still worked), a military field desk, museum-quality prints, vintage jewelry, kitchenwares, antiques, tchotchkies... it was just crazy. They also have clothes but I wasn't really looking in that section... Definitely worth a trip if you like a good dig... read more

We picked up some cute clothes, beach stuff and kids outfits. Really great deals and low prices. My only complaint was that they had Rush L. On the radio very loud and we had three young girls with us. Just seemed to be inappropriate to have on the loud speakers in a retail store. I think they overheard me complain and they changed the channel to music and put Rush on the radio behind the checkout counter. If you can block out the garbage on the radio, it's worth the visit. You may be rewarded with a great outfit for being tolerant. read more

Didn't smell like cigarette smoke as a previous reviewer said but it did have an unpleasant odor. I LOVE thrift stores but this one had too much for me. The photos are appropriate. If you're looking for anything you can't find in another store, it might be here. It almost felt like I was in the attic of a hoarding family member. This place is great, packed full of very unusual items, mostly of an ornamental nature, but not simply grannies old tchochkes, well, some of it is granny fare, but with a lot of Weird Old America mixed in. It has clothes, books, CD's and all that, but I think its strength is the unusual tchotchkes. So it is somewhere halfway between a thrift store and an antique store. Judged as a thrift store, it is expensive, but judged as an antique store it is cheap. It was fun to look through nevertheless. read more

Go see my friends Barbara and Phillip when you have a few hours to relax, browse, and enjoy your visit. You may see the big, yellow striped tabby cat from the neighborhood shop down the way browsing with you or wanting to be petted. Your visit will be well worth the trip as the shop contains small furniture items, vintage movies, tapes and books. One room off to the back houses cookbooks, fiction, and how-tos, loads of childrens books and puzzles. The kitchen section may just be the place to find that missing wine glass, small kitchen accessories, pots and pans (need a replacement lid?) and decor items. A large selection of clothes for the whole family, shoes, purses, and great costume jewelry awaits you in the front; you might even find someting for your dog. As a person that prides themself on a good deal, I am shocked that people complained about the prices here. I spent $38 and got a plethora of amazing stuff. An old ornate frame, large and beautiful ornate mirror, small white shelf and a beautiful candle holder were in my lot. I can include pictures later. I will be making another stop before my trip home...I just wish I had more space in my car. read more

The thrift store is neat and clean. Everything is sectioned into specific places in logical order. However, this thrift store is very expensive. Everything I was interested in was shockingly expensive for the condition it was in. In a nutshell, this thrift store is trying to be a consignment store and not doing it well. FYI, if you are trying to check prices on your phone, if you have T-Mobile, you won't have any service in the shop. read more

I bought quite a few items at this shop yesterday on my way through to visit my Son and Family in OBX. I shopped for over an hour, then noticed when I was checking out that they had a post at register informing the credit card machine was not working. I went to ATM and came back, was ignored for a bit before they acknowledged I was there. I paid in cash and headed back to my home in Virginia Beach. When I got home and started looking through my items and receipt I added up my items and noticed I was OVER CHARGED quite a bit. Not worth my time and fuel to go back. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! read more
