In the past two years my wife has needed to go into a Rehab enter. The first time was two years ago…read moreafter she had back Surgery. They put her in a facility near where we lived. The facility was nice and seemed to be well equipped but seriously understaffed. It often took a half hour to an hour for an aid or nurse to respond to her call requests. Facility okay, staffing an issue. This time she after having fallen many times in our unit she was hospitalized, They decided to send her to a Rehab Center in Anne Arundel County. This place, though highly rated by Medicare was awful. It was a rather dingy facility in which you were immediately overwhelmed by the smell of urine and feces! It also took an hour or longer for anyone to respond to her calls, often she was told just to "go in your diaper" until we have time for you! The PT/OT facilities were bare-boned and she received barely more than 20 minutes of one or the other during weekdays. And on one of those days they had a group session instead of individual treatment where none of her Rehab needs were addressed! This place was so awful I found myself crying to myself, feeling guilty that she had to stay in this disgusting facility! I fought for and finally received the OK to transfer her to Lorien, Elkridge! I can only describe it as like going from the worst Motel 6 in the world to the Carlton-Ritz! Lorien Elkridge in a very welcoming, clean, well-equipped facility. And the staff, including the those working the front desk, are very welcoming, responsive, kind and caring!! She rarely waits more than 5 to10 minutes when she request assistance. They seem to be eager to get whatever she needs and often do the same for me. The nurse in charge, is on the ball and is willing to put up with my inquires of her medical treatment and requests from me to obtain specific treatments and/or mess (I will admit that my career with the FDA as an expert in both Medical Devices and Pharmaceuticals does give me an unique knowledge base.) She gets OT and PT every weekday, often for as long as an hour each! I can't rave enough about this facility and its staff. If you live near Elkridge you definitely would want to send your loved one her if they need rehab. Heck, even if you don't live near here, I would still recommend you check this facility out.

While the care was sometimes OK to decent from Star of My Heart for my Aunt over the past few years…read more(she just passed away at age 99), it was often very bad and the owner of the agency was difficult to deal with (very pushy, always trying to just show things reflecting well on herself and not things reflecting poorly on her, and did not like to listen to input from the family or friends or even my Aunt). There was tremendous turnover of the caregivers, as Star of My Heart pays its caregivers very very little (I was told by several of the caregivers that their pay was $100 per day for living in the home and working 12 hours per day with no benefits or tax withholding, a small fraction of what we paid to Star of My Heart). The final straw was the 5 pieces of missing jewelry, including two rings with gemstones and of great sentimental and financial value. I would suggest that you also look at the Maryland court records for the owner of this business (I wish I had before). I called several home care providers who told me it would take as many as five days to find care givers. I needed someone to drive me home and begin care the next day. We Care could provide what I needed. They helped me complete the necessary forms, line by line. I was extremley anxious about being home. Diane and Sonia were able to support and encourage me through my anxious moments. They provided both physical and emotional support as I adjusted to being home. In addition, all my laundry was done, my bed changed, dishes washed, and my meals were prepared. They both went "above and beyond". I valued their companionship as I adjusted to being on my own. They became like surrogate family members, and I appreciate their caring and kindness above all.

The physical therapists all take their time to listen and discuss any questions, concerns, and info the patient or family present. No one is rushed or pressured during the visits. All care is individualized and tailored to each patient's recovery. The location and hours are very convenient. We highly recommend this practice for anyone needing care from a physical therapist!

So this is my second round of treatment here at AAA physical therapy I came here in 2015 for a neck…read moreinjury and I returned again in this past September of 2018 for a second degree burn to my left foot in the process of getting my second degree burn treated by the lovely staff here at AAA physical therapy I also had a procedure done to my right foot which the staff here AAA therapy also help me do physical therapy on that foot along with my left foot great I so love AAA physical therapy if you haven't been here and if you need some Rehabilitation Wellness yoga program nutrition program check them out they're located in Columbia Maryland. The staff is wonderful here they're very courteous and attentive really awesome.

Very unprofessional and incompetent. I was referred to this agency after having emergency surgery…read more I had a different PT and PTA for practically every home visit. They sent out inexperienced and unknowledgeable people. I was on very strict restrictions by my surgeon and one of their PTA's did not follow my physicians restrictions and caused me to refracture my hip. I needed emergency surgery again with a plate placement. Ruined my life and severely delayed and compromised my recovery. CenterWell was notified and never returned my call or offered any kind of response at all. Do not use this home care company. Be forewarned.
