She is excellent and helps my mom with showering and also dresses her. She will comb her hair, make her lunch, and do her laundry. She is so nice and caring and she loves what she does. She is very helpful and I'm so glad she's here for my mom. I B also like that when I call the office they respond back. If our main cc aide can't make it, they call me and find a sub. I have a good experience with Visiting Angels and I recommend them.

We didn't have a camera to prove it but the money disappeared. The last few either didn't feed her or gave her canned spaghetti. She lost at least 60 lbs. We relied on these people for the last few years as our son went through chemo for cancer. My mil lived 45 min away and we couldn't see her very often. Visiting Angels didn't have a caregiver plan for her. No nurse came to check her. Leisure World had a nurse check on her and helped us get her moved to assisted living near us. It's the luck of the draw with them. But they are expensive for the little help you get. Please don't use them.

The caregivers were on time, capable and friendly. Most importantly, the staff fulfilled their promise of helping us figure out the insanely complicated steps of getting my father's long-term care insurance company to cover costs. I cannot say enough good things about this company and its meeting of its promises. Please note that they offer two types of caregivers: contractors and staff. Don't be cheap and pick the contractors. Pay the minimal extra, and you will get huge benefits of support from the professional staff.

It was suppose to be a free evaluation; and the owner had assured us that we would have three business days to change our mind if we no longer wanted to keep the room reserved. However, by the time we were finished eating a simple prepared sandwich and talked about Mom's needs, we found ourselves locked into a contract that we did not sign, neither wanted to go forward with the placement for services because my mother did not want to live there. I had given the owner a check to reserve the room since she assured me that it was returnable within three business days if I had changed my mind. However, upon requesting my money back within the three day period, the owner refused to return my money. I attempted to reason with the owner, but she insisted that I had verbally agreed to take the room so as not to lose the space to another customer. The owner insisted that she was right in retaining my payment despite the fact that she guaranteed it was returnable within three business days according to the unsigned contract. The business practices here are fraudulent and NO ONE should be subjected to being taken advantage of just to prosper another. I would not recommend this service to anyone who is looking for an honest business owner who promotes home care for the elderly under the ethical standards of good home health care and business practices.
