The Memory Care is a lockdown floor so it is safe but she enjoyed outside visits with us, coffee downstairs and regular hair appointments in the facility. we were thankful and pleased with the care she received. it wasn't cheap, but we appreciated her care very much.

She loves the activities, especially nerf volleyball (who knew?) ! The care manager, Joanne, is incredible -remembering so many of the details that make up a new life there in her new community. Dania, is a wonderful, caring nurse and she helped us find a doctor who comes to the facility to visit her, rather than having to drag her out to doctor's appointments. She gets her hair and nails done there weekly and goes on outings to a different restaurant every week as well as site seeing trips in the van to the coast. All this even though she's in a wheelchair! Last but certainly not least is the wonderful Theresa greeting you as you enter and helping with so many things, she knows all! We are so relieved that she is safe and happy!

This place is very easy to get to on Trousdale Drive, and is directly across the street from the Mills-Peninsula Medical Center. My niece and I took a scheduled tour of Oakmont of Burlingame. Anne, our guide, explained everything in detail and answered our questions. We were shown different apartment floor plans, common areas, and outdoor areas. It should be noted that when we entered the lobby, there was no Covid screening (such as temperature check). Masks were optional. The apartments are like hotel rooms, and do not have kitchens. Residents are to eat in the dining room, or have food brought to their room. All rooms are unfurnished, except for the mini fridge. We were only shown model rooms on the 1st and 2nd floors. There's a secure private garage underground. Oakmont features luxurious common areas, attention to detail, and there was live music in the lobby when we were there. They seem very accommodating to resident preferences and schedules for meals. There's also group outings for things like museums and shopping. At the end of our tour, Anne explained all the required paperwork and price rates. Overall, we had a very positive experience.

Kind, caring and always there to give my mother the best care at all times. I know my mom is always happy when I visit or call to talk to her. Kenia, the adminstrative manager is there nearly every day and oversees that everything is running smoothly.
