As rare as it is that I find myself at a an auto licensing establishment; it's always something I dread. A+ Auto Licensing has truly turned that dread into a process that feels effortless and far from stressful. They are efficient and friendly and each time I've been there they've moved things along rather quickly. During the COVID lockdown they offered services with social distancing between guests, limited entry, plus one way into the building and a separate way out. What a rude office. There was a nice gentleman in front of me and as soon as he left they all made rude comments and were laughing at him. It was so unprofessional. Then when it came my turn they wouldn't even register my car because even though the form had wet signatures on the original document, they said I have to go back to the out of state DMV and get the original staple together three documents. I heard that this was one of the rudest people office, but now I know for sure. read more

She said she didn't know how to remove an AVR on my car and the DOL website clearly states it can be removed by any license agency. 2 wasted hours trying to get my tabs and then she says you can call Olympia on Monday. We just moved to WA from CA and needed to register our cars. This location was easy to find and had enough parking. The woman that helped us (which includes transferring a CA title to WA as well) was WONDERFUL! [Her name is] Linda was helpful, knowledgable and friendly. She was able to answer ALL our questions and even anticipated some less than usually issues like having vehicles in a trust. Horrible service, unhelpful, very very rude. I would seriously take any other option for renewing my tabs than deal with these rude ladies. Had my boyfriend go into the store to pick up my tabs after purchasing them online yesterday. They would not let him pick them up (although we have the same address) and stated he must come with a letter from me. When I called in to request more information they kept me on the phone 15 minutes and asked for all my info- drivers license number, address, plate numbers, etc. The lady then handed the phone over to someone else who accused me of coming in the day before and said they had already told us we needed the letter.. When I tried to explain to the worker that we had not been in before this and she was in fact thinking of someone else, she continued to cut me off and would not listen-- seemed like she was pretty pissed and hates her job and customers.. No thanks-- I don't need to deal with that again and would advise others away unless you like people being incredibly disrespectful.. read more

Never go to the register of the (dont know how else to describe her) chunky lady with a lazy eye. Even with bringing in a letter showing our new address she fought us and called us liars. She said we are trying to avoid the RTA taxes. We told her to even check out our other vehicle that had our new address. read more

They are the only place we get our yearly car tabs. Very helpful in person and so fast if you order on-line. Highly recommend them.

Went in today to get my tabs renewed and the lady was very nice and was done within 5 minutes. They only accept checks or cash so I had to get cash out, but thankfully they had an atm! read more

Went there to replace a lost title for a car that I was selling. I was told that because I had not licensed it for a few years, the title was not on record any longer. The only option was to take it to the State Patrol and have it re-licensed. So, I waited until Monday and went to the agency in Enumclaw. Was not a problem for them! I always renew my tabs online and pick them up at this place because it's conveniently close by. Never had a problem with that because it's straight-forward and uncomplicated. Then comes today, when my wife and I went in to apply for a title transfer on a pickup we recently inherited. I had gone to the DOL website and followed all the directions on what forms to fill out and what other documents we needed, including copies of the death certificates of my parents. After a lengthy wait in their ridiculously cramped waiting area, we finally got up to the counter only to be told that we needed original certified copies of the death certificates ($31.50 each), which was news to us as the DOL website did not indicate that. Pure obstructionism. I grabbed the docs and left in a huff only to have one of the clerks follow me out the door yelling at me. Suffice it to say, their customer relations skills are less than exemplary, and we will not be going back. read more

If you have to drive a little farther to go to a different DOL office, you might want to do just that! Every time I go into this office, I have an exceptionally bad experience. The last time I went there to get a handicapped parking permit renewed. I had the form filled out by my doctor. This was the same form I had used for the past 2.5 years. I have to get a new permit every 6 months. The doctor signed the form on July 1st. I took it in to the Bonney Lake DOL and was told that I now needed to get a note from my doctor written on his stationary, The official form was no longer acceptable as of the day it was signed by my doctor. It is very difficult for me to get around so this was more than a forgettable inconvenience. My experience going into the office today was kind of the last straw for me. In 2011 as part of a divorce settlement, my former husband signed off on two cars that we had jointly owned. Both of our names had been on each of our vehicles. We went to the DOL office in Issaquah and filled out the paper work. For some reason the changes were never made and his name continued to be on all the license renewal papers. I never did receive a new set of Pink slips from the DOL. I went to another office and tried again to get them to correct this and remove his name from my registration and owner documents. Again it did not happen. Today I returned to the Bonney Lake office with the original titles to the cars along with a notarized document signed by my former husband and signed by me releasing the title to the cars. The supervisor or owner of the Bonney Lake DOL said that this was not good enough and that I would have to return with my divorce papers from 2011. I told her that the DOL had screwed this update of documents up twice before. She would not accept the notorized document that showed the release of the vehicles. To add insult to injury, I have to pay $37.50 per car to make this transfer. It is extremely difficult for me to get into any office. Now I am forced to do it again because this woman can't accept all the documentation that proves that these cars are mine and mine alone. Even though this office is located less than a mile from my house, I think I will go find another DOL office and see if my experience is any less aggravating that the experiences I have each time I walk into this place. read more

The worst business I have ever been in, all because of the blatant disregard of customer service. I have gone into this business on occasion over the last few years, each time I have regretted going due to the rudeness of the staff. I always hope it will improve, yet am disappointed with the increasing lack of respect for customers. Today was my final stop there, after being berated by a female employee who is so rude she should not be in customer service. Keep in mind this is not a government office, yet this woman behaves as if she created all licensing laws?! I wish I could give this place -100 stars! These "ladies" are absolutely the worst! Absolutely horrible customer service, extremely rude and downright nasty! I went in for my permanent disability plaque and they turned me away 3 times for stupid reasons and kept returning with the "correct" paper to have them find something else wrong with it... I have a chronic illness that I need assistance walking and I need help writing because my hand shakes too bad along with chronic pain. I can't walk more than 100 feet before I pass out therefore it's obvious I need help... it's nothing on them to hand over the free plaque when I have two different doctors signing off for them. I've already called the spanaway dol and they said my papers will not be a problem. I hope this dol gets shut down or the women replaced. How miserable do you have to be to turn away someone with an obvious health disability just because you can? read more
