The only reason I'm giving Rooms To Go in Stuart, FL two stars instead of one is because the…read moreshowroom is well-presented and the furniture appears nice at first glance. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Our salesperson, Victoria, felt more like a used car dealer than someone genuinely trying to help. She misled us on multiple fronts. First, she convinced us to purchase an expensive rug, assuring us of its quality. I specifically asked if it would unravel, as many outdoor rugs tend to do unless they're high-end. She confidently told me it wouldn't--but sure enough, it started coming apart within the first month. Clearly not the quality we were promised. Second, she let us take home a patio umbrella directly from the store without mentioning that doing so would void the item from being covered under the 3-year warranty she also persuaded us to buy--another total waste of money. When I called recently to express my concerns, I was able to speak with Victoria again. Instead of offering any sort of solution or even a civil conversation, she became rude and abruptly hung up. If you're looking for honesty, integrity, and respectful customer service, I strongly suggest avoiding this store altogether. You deserve better.

I've been a loyal Rooms To Go customer for over three decades. This year alone, I purchased a…read morecouch, love seat, dining room set, patio storage chest, pillows, covers, and two patio chairs--my first purchase from Rooms To Go Patio. I spent nearly $1,000 on those chairs, trusting the salesperson's assurance that they were weather-resistant and required little to no maintenance. We were also sold an insurance policy that promised cleaning support or replacement in case of staining. Within a month, both chairs developed stains that I couldn't remove. The insurance company reviewed photos and claimed it was mold. Despite my efforts to clean them and my history of never having issues with patio furniture, the stains persisted. When I returned to the store, the salesperson was sympathetic and agreed the chairs shouldn't look like that after such a short time. She promised the store manager would call me. He never did. I had to follow up multiple times, and when he finally responded via email, he deflected responsibility to customer service and suggested a bleach and Dawn solution. I tried it--no improvement. I explained that this might be a defect in the material, but he insisted it was a maintenance issue and stopped responding meaningfully. No one ever came to inspect the chairs. No professional cleaning was offered. No replacement. Just a loop of emails and dead ends. After three months, the chairs look terrible. Rooms To Go has shown no interest in standing by their product or their promises. I will not return, and I strongly urge others to consider alternative patio furniture retailers who value their customers and honor their commitments.

You will see Ollie's bucktooth grin along with funny sayings all over the store. In 1994 the company started their loyalty program called Ollie's Army which you can sign up for on their website. For every $1 you spend, you get one point. Points move you up the rank and earn you discount coupons off your purchase. According to the company, Ollie's Army get you "good stuff...even cheaper". Currently there are 408 stores in 28 states, several of which are in Florida. Ollie's purchases company liquidations, overstocks, and older items that haven't sold, and resells them in their stores for a discount. You can expect to see name brand items. Ollie's sells a little of everything, cleaning supplies, garden items, books, toys, food, health and beauty, automotive, holiday decorations, home improvements, electronics, flooring, housewares, and so much more. I had previously shopped in the West Palm Beach and Delray stores and they were great for stocking up on hurricane supplies. Ollie's always has a ton of inexpensive K-cups and cheap and unusual snacks. I usually grab some candy as incentives for the kids at school. On this trip I found the snack size bags I use to pack portion controlled snacks for my school lunches. This is the kind of store where you come in for one thing and pretty soon you have a cart full of stuff. Check back often because the merchandise changes frequently and you will always find something new.
