He met me at the restaurant where we were having lunch. He was there within 15-20 minutes as he promised. He was very friendly and nice personality. He immediately went to work programming my 2 fobs. It took about 15 minutes to do them. It would have been less but to no fault of his my new fobs wouldn't program. 5 minutes later job was done and we were shaking hands. My food was still hot. Originally, we were planning to go to a dealership but noticed they give inconsistent answers regarding our 2017 Outback. Weird, right? We were in a bind, having received only one key fob when we bought our car through Carmax. We are stumped as to how we lost it--it fell out of my pocket attracting the attention of larcenous crows is our best guess--so it would require having the car towed to a dealership with estimates well over $1500 for two fobs AND no guarantee they'd have it fixed within a day.
