UPDATE : The owner Danny had contacted me to see an the issue and he send a guy out here to paint it . Well that wasn't goin to work for me. After a few weeks the tech can back Out and used some wood/ plastic putty to fix the door. So yes he made good on his word . The communication could hav been better. The tech called me when he was 5. & 10 min away to say he was coming. Thankfully I was home. So I'm satisfied with the repair I guess. I'm still not happy it happened at all but Danny did take care of it . Thank you ! If I could I'd rate it 0 stars . A friend was housesitting for me, and accidentally locked the keys in the house. When the locksmith came, he assured her there wouldn't be any damage and he could get the keys out just fine. Not only did he get the keys out, but he damaged my door and door frame. When I returned home, I was livid because I had just remodeled my home. After numerous calls to the company and after them lying and hanging up on me and her, I finally got in contact with the technician. He claims that he didn't cause any damage ,then he said there was minimal damage already, then he said the door was old and then last of all he said well maybe he did a little bit of damage. So which one was it? He was lying to cover his ass because he caused all the damage . It looks like he jammed a screwdriver and split it open. Well hell anyone could have done that . I'd rather the window got busted out. This company Absolutely sucks and their customer service sucks. I can't believe anybody in the right mind would use them . I think my friend didn't realize that it this company was located out of Tampa. I haven't figured out what course of action I am going to take yet. UPDATE: After posting this review, Danny (now apparently the owner) reached out to me offering to fix our problem, but first had some conditions to honor his work. He sent another tech out to assess the problem (which had previously been told only Danny could fix) to correct the warning light. When the tech arrived, he took the replacement key we bought to troubleshoot the warning light. Within ten minutes, the problem was solved. But to get my key back, I first had to remove this review online. When I offered to edit it was not good enough and Danny instructed his tech to take my key and leave my residence. The tech quickly got into his van and left. I had to call the Sheriff's Office to report We Do Locksmith for stealing my key. When deputies arrived, they said that Danny had offered to refund my money, so it was not stealing anymore. Unfortunately, deputies advised since he offered a refund, no charges could be pressed, and it was now a civil matter. He is now in possession of a duplicate key to my vehicle that he could do whatever he wants with. Not a very comforting feeling knowing there is a copy out there to this very "trustworthy" business. Danny said he is an "honest, family man with 5 kids." Actually, he is a narcissistic, arrogant, hot head that I would not trust with my home or vehicle. If he is worried about one negative review to steal a key I paid him for, what will he do to you for leaving a negative review. This company has been reported to the Sheriff's Office for their activity. Danny's other condition of completing the job he did was that I needed to provide him with a personal apology for making him look bad. He told me he's been in business for 17 years and knows more than the dealership of my vehicle. BEWARE of this business and do some more research before hiring Danny or any of his techs! This is not his first bad review, and I'm confident it won't be his last! Don't become a victim to We Do Locksmith. DO NOT TRUST! Company uses their services under different names and phone numbers, but all comes back to this service as "We Do Locksmith". Had to use their services last week when key was locked in car. We don't have a spare key programed to vehicle, so they were kind enough to offer to program our spare for an additional $150. Cool. We needed it done, so we paid for the additional service. Danny (the lead tech) said that our factory remote was not correct for my vehicle, so he upsold me on their remote for another additional $120. Said it would take 10 minutes to complete the job. 45 minutes later he finally finished programming the remote. All is good, right? NO! When he asks us to pay, he added an additional $20 for what he claimed was tax. In the State of Florida, you can't charge tax on services or labor... So now a $150 job, turned into an upsale of $290 and 45 minutes of time we didn't have. After all that, we go to drive the vehicle and now a warning light has activated saying "Keyless System Malfunction." Tried calling the service back. No answer. I was told only Danny, the lead service tech had the equipment to fix, but he will not answer phone or text. Keep calling office and told I will get a call back. It's been a week later and nothing. Should have just taken it to the dealer in the first place. I do not recommend. These guys are a bunch of frauds! Beware using their services! Will not use again!!! read more

Called the day before to set up an appointment. Said he would be there between 10 am and 10:30 pm, to open and re-key a single store door. Called the day of to confirm and he said he would be there on time. Called again at 10:30, still not there, said he would be there in 15 to 20 minutes. Called again at 11 am, still not there...said he would be there in about 8 more minutes. Meanwhile I have 2 contractors on the clock waiting. Showed up, very rude. Said it would be $85.00 to open door, took almost 10 seconds. Then said it would be another $65 to make a key. I asked for a better rate since he was so late and basically and rudely said No! Had an issue with the ignition locking up in my 2001 Dodge Durango. I was recommended by another locksmith to contact Danny. I was able to get the ignition unstuck temporarily and I drove it to his shop on Kennedy. His price was very reasonable and he was done in less than 10 minutes, inspecting it and replacing the tumblers. (I had 2 broken tumblers.). I will recommend him highly. read more

On vacation In Tampa we rented GMC suburban, us being reckless guys like as usually..we we lost the keys to the rental during a boat party. Unfortunately the rental company took advantage of the situation and tried to charge us an obscene amount. We contacted we do locksmith from google and they said that they can definitely take care of our problem. After taking information of the vehicle they made an appointment with us. They not made us new keys but they also chained it to the original buckle it came with, luckily we took of the original plastic with all the info. We do locksmith saved us so much hassle and money they certainly deserve my five stars. I used them on 5/25/18 when I needed 3 locks changed and garage door reprogrammed due to evicting unwanted house guest. Ace changed (re keyed) 3 locks and did not re program garage door openers. I discovered that the garage door was NOT changed and still worked on same channel. I was charged 518.00 which is extremely high. I called 3 times and Danny assured me they would come re program. I requested refund after they did NOT show. Danny told me "I am writing a 150.oo refund and mailing today." I have received nothing. It is now 6-21-18! I just helped my elderly neighbor try to get into her home the she locked herself out of. I called We Do Locksmith to help, and they said to me over the phone that it is $30 to come out and just to open the door $85 to open the door. And it would take 15 to 30 minutes to come out. Over an hour later, they met my elderly neighbor and charged her a total of $217 to open her door. And I told the very rude guy they said something different on the phone. He told me to leave (So he could rip off my neighbor), then grabbed her card out of her hand so hard I thought she would fall. Then she wanted a receipt, but he refused to give one, and he wanted a photocopy of her ID and Bank card so she could get a receipt. Who needs that for a receipt? He was so rude to my friend that I worried for her safety. My sons had to come over to help. Get a receipt, So he ran to his car, didn't want us to have his license plate number, so he backed up and almost hit two people walking down the sidewalk and an SUV coming down the road. They must have people writing fault reviews for them. I have no proof but going to BBB, and the cops for reports. There is no way they have that many stars. I drove all the way into Tampa to have some spare house keys made. When the guy handed me the keys, I questioned him about them being so big, he claimed they were sturdier. Then, I get home, and they are WAY too big for the lock, the only way you can unlock the door is to carefully put the key in part way, about half way in. We can't be doing that every time we go walking. Then, I call to complain and he says they do those keys for their "elderly" customers who have trouble with keys. 1. I never mentioned having any trouble unlocking doors and 2. I'm only 51 and do not appreciate being called "elderly" as not that much older than the guy cutting the keys. Then, he wants to send some guy out to my house-call me crazy but I'm not dealing with these people ever again. read more

Omri was very quick to respond to my quote as well as any other question I had about the job. Over the phone we were told that it would cost $120 and he said he wouldn't drive all this way and do that type of job for under $450. **Only because I have to give a star to review** Do to one of our employees being out of town and not leaving the company truck keys with us, we had to have a locksmith come out and cut another key so that we could continue with our day and conduct business as usual... I called a dispatch company, Fast Locksmith, that sent us to We Do Locksmith and they handled the service call. The rep that took the service call, Ace, was prompt and courteous. He was having issues with getting the key to work properly in both the door and ignition. It took him about 2.5 hrs to get a key that worked, but not at the best of its ability. Because Ace had complications cutting the key, he ended up cutting 11 keys trying to get 1 good one. He explained to me that because of the trouble, he was giving me as many discounts as he could. I was very grateful and told him how much I appreciated his help. When I originally spoke to them on the phone while placing the service call, he explained that the price started at $125. When he completed the job, he said after the discounts, I was only being charged $65. I was satisfied with the amount and gladly paid my bill with ZERO complaint. The tech left and we all went on our way. A few moments later I received a call from a man stating to be the owner of the company, We Do Locksmith, telling me he wanted to return my money and come get his key that his tech had cut for me. What?? Why?? He then rudely explains that I was not charged correctly and that I have taken his company for granted! I explained to him that he was not correct at all, I was given an amount to pay and I paid it with no problem. I also let him know thay I didn't appreciate his allegations and attitude. He continued to rant and threaten so I hung up and called the number for the tech I had dealt with, Ace. He explained to me that the owner was not happy about the minimal fee he had charged me and expects me to pay more, but then assured me not to worry because he would handle it. I then received a text from the owner stating that he would make a complaint about our company. Then thanked me for "stealing from him." I then called Ace once more to ask him what was going on and why was I continued to be harassed by this man? Ace said that he was just mad, but he would deal with it. That I was not in the wrong and he was going to pay for the extra out of his own pocket. I told him I would pay an additional $60 but not a penny more. It was his mistake by not checking with his boss before billing me out, but I didn't feel it was right for him to have to pay from his pocket when all he was trying to do was do right by us. While giving him the information to pay an additional $60 to bring the total to $125, I received another call... it wasn't until after I paid the 2nd fee when I checked my messages and learned that the owner of We Do Locksmith, called and told the dispatch company we left without paying our bill and we owed them another $80!! They demanded I call them and explain myself as well as to pay the remainder of the bill!! I was furious!! I am still furious!! I did call and I was sure to let her know the real story and how this man continued to call/text to harass and threaten me. That we couldn't have left even if we wanted to because his was parked and blocking the exit. So I paid, he left and then we left. I wish I had this owner's name, but I don't at the moment. I just do not advise anyone to do business with We Do Lockmith, atleast at this location. I am not be done, but until I have figured out the best form of action to take, I will let anyone and everyone know how this man handles business and customers. read more

Just got locked out of our garage from entry door... couldn't get to cars, Saturday afternoon, basically trapped. Door knob was jammed and would not open door. Tried everything. Called We Do and a young guy named Kero came out in 20 minutes. Immediately knew the problem, replaced door knob mechanism. All fixed within 15 minutes. Reasonable charge and I couldn't be happier. I used this business previously and gave a good review. They made security keys for my vehicles. The keys worked for a while, but then, I began experiencing problems locking and opening the car doors remotely. Several times the keys did not work and I had to manually lock and unlock the doors. I called this business several times about this problem. They have never responded. Several times I spoke with the owner , was informed that they will come out, but they have never called. April 18th 2022 I called we do locksmith services due to the fact that I had already done business with them previously. I called to have my front door re keyed which i was told was 75 dollars which is what i expected to pay anyway because that is what i had paid for the exact same service previously. I got a call from the technician stating he would be at my house in an hour. Then i got a call an hour and 15 minutes later stating he had arrived. I went outside and no one was there. I called the number back and got no answer. 5 minutes later he calls back and I tell him that there was no one outside of my residence. Then that is when he finally pulls up. He re keys my door and then tells me there is a fee of 20 dollars making my service 95 dollars, keep in mind at this point it is done. I call the office to inquire about this new price i was given to make sure I wasn't getting hustled the representative could not tell me when the prices changed. I asked for a supervisor who came to the phone rude didn't greet or introduce herself and she told me she has no date it is what it is. Some calls get charged extra some don't. So someone just called me from this company and asked me what happened. Once I started to tell him the issue he cut me off mid sentence and told me that karma is going to get me and ruin my whole life because I wrote a bad review for his company on google and bbb. Keep in mind this is after calling several times and no one being able to explain a charge. So because they were not able to help a me, a returning customer, he put a hex on me and my family's lives.
