When I first called to make an appointment he was super rude and didn't care. I will never come back to this place, not only does he charge extra for older cars but he makes you pay and then tells you the car fails and doesn't even glance at helping you figure out why it failed, and he won't even try to help the car pass he just wants the money and for you to leave. Never again trust me go across the street. read more

Had to smog my car before selling so I called this location and they told me to bring it in and they would have me outta there in 10 minutes, we'll he lied to me because he had me outta there in about 7 minutes! Henry was so helpful and honestly the cheapest prices around town and you get great service. Thanks again Henry I'll be coming back here for my future smogs! read more

The service was pretty fast and my car passed. Competitive pricing. Considering the girl who rang me up in the tiny waiting area was awkwardly putting her makeup on and looking annoyed at my presence the whole time, fast service was important. I also really enjoyed the creepy guy from next door doing lines out the side of his van parked out front while his equally creepy friends/(employees?) advertised a bikini car wash. An interesting time was had. read more

This place offers nice and friendly services. The wait time here is very quick and it is very fast to get in and out. It is in a very convenient location and the guy, Mario, is very friendly. The reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is a very small place with a small parking lot and it gets very confusing trying to find out how to get in and out. In the end it is worth it because they are very quick and convenient. read more

Excellent experience; I had called on a random day off I had during the work week to see about getting a STAR Cert, after getting told I'd have to wait until Monday at other STAR stations. I was told to come on down and that not having the renewal notice from the DMV was not a problem. The location itself looks a bit strange, but walking into the small lobby you can feel it's air-conditioned, tinted windows to prevent glare, comfortable chairs to wait in, and a big TV set-up with a Roku player for Netflix. All of this is an excellent set-up, and only shortly enjoyed as I was in and out of there in under 15 minutes. Both employees were very cool and relaxing which made the whole experience excellent. Would always recommend! read more

My passion for the automotive industry started at a young age, inspired by my dad, who introduced me to the world of problem solving. That early exposure led me to pursue formal training I attended Grossmont high school and Cuyamaca college, where I built a strong technical foundation and was recognized for my dedication to the craft. I’m a Master ASE Technician, that gained valuable dealership experience working at Subaru of El Cajon and BMW of El Cajon, where I specialized in advanced diagnostics, electrical systems, and precision repairs across a wide range of vehicles. Today, my wife and I proudly run our shop together. As high school sweethearts who grew up in this community, we’ve built our business around a friendly, honest, and customer-first approach. Our goal is to combine dealership-level expertise with a welcoming, local experience where every customer feels taken care of.

Took my car in for a P0440 minor evap leak. Was told that that it would be $150.00 because they had…read moreto smoke test the system. Fair enough. Also wanted the oil changed and had some brake noise in the rear of the car. Called the next day and was told it was ready. No check engine light, hurray! Bill was $390.00, HUH, asked what for? said that they had to replace a hose by the charcoal canister. Figured $75 for the oil change, maybe $150 for the brake repair (they only cleaned the back brakes). So with the $150 for the P0440 that made the hose about $65. Next day, check engine light again. Brought it back in. Tech looked under the car and in the engine compartment. Said that he tightened a couple of connectors and if the check engine light came back on it may need a new charcoal canister. Well it came back on the next day. I jacked up the car and took a look at the charcoal canister and hoses both under the hood and back. Nothing was replace or touched. I paid them to fix the P0440 code, not try. I didn't have the time or proper tools to fix it myself, if I did, I could of fixed it myself. I think that they just reset my code light and didn't even smoke test it, plus the left grease marks on my hood and floor carpet. They advertise as a smog and repair, but they don't.

I bought a 2016 Nissan Sentra back in October and my registration was due this month. I had misplaced the original paperwork and wasn't sure if I needed a smog or not. I know when I had a 94' Buick it was due every 2 years. After paying the registration fee I hadn't receieved my new tags as soon as I thought I should of , so I thought it had to have been because the smog was due. I brought it here and was actually given honest advice right off the bat. They let me know that because it was still brand new practically , there was no new smog required, and that I should save my money. Literally at the same time they told me this , the DMV called me back after an hour and a half and confirmed they were right. Long story...well long, the owner of the business (I forgot to get her name) has done a great job clearly, because not only did they look out for my best interests, but had also had a really cool waiting area with a bowl full of good candy (not the 99 cent store stuff no one wants). Dropped by here after work hoping it was open and was a STAR station. Turned out to be a GREAT find. Not only was he open after 5 and a STAR station, but he was very friendly and inviting. I was done and on my way in less than 20 min., some of that time spent just talking with Henry the owner. He bought the business only a few months ago and is working hard to build a new & outstanding reputation from the previous ownership. He can also smog large or tall trucks and RV's too. Took it to Miguel over at A Qwik Smog and they were able to look up all the information needed to get my vehicle smogged for even cheaper than the other guys!
