Stopped and plugged the heated lining in and things got a little less chilly until the plug and socket parted company. I stopped and plugged in the jacket several times during the remainder of my 1.5-hour journey this fudging about made me late for work. This is not a toasty item of clothing, when I did get to work I was still cold Two days and only one journey later: I went back to the shop with an exchange of jacket and the purchase of a separate heated lining from a different maker in mind. This is what happened. The staff in the shop were not afraid to show how pissed off they were when I returned the jacket telling them it was not warm and I would like an exchange and balance refund. The staff asked no further questions but insisted I could only have a CREDIT NOTE as I had worn the jacket. I'm now stuck with an £80 credit note I don't want to spend in a shop like this.
