I made appointments for me and my bridesmaids, but I never had a "dry run". I could not have been happier with my experience at Capelli Hair Salon. Two of us were immediately seated upon entering. The women listened to what we wanted, looked at photos, and then replicated it the best they could. Our hair was done in a short amount of time and then the two women helping us proceeded to give the remaining two girls beautiful hair styles. My friend also convinced me to get my makeup done for the wedding. As a disclaimer, I hate makeup and it hates me. I always feel like a dirty cat when wearing makeup and it just seems to weigh down my face. The woman who helped me with my makeup listened to what I wanted and definitely did not overdo the makeup but still covered all those bags under the eyes. I would highly recommend Capelli Hair Salon. The only problem was that I had to drive to Concord or further to find spray tanning, so again I stopped. Recently, I decided to check to see if there were local businesses that offer spray tanning, and I was happy to discover a couple right in Plymouth. I decided to go with Stella for two reasons. #1 - Their website showed that they have a professionally trained person, Kristen Gilmore, dedicated to their spray tanning service. And #2 - when I called and spoke with Kristen, she was able to easily answer all of my questions and was familiar with how to work with my freckles and skin tone. I am so happy that I went with Stella Hair Boutique. Kristen was super friendly, but also very professional. When I had to strip down for her to apply the tanning solution, her manner and positivity removed any awkwardness or embarrassment on my part.
