Went to an event here it was a group event but the vibe was very relaxing and the concept was awesome.

We were away for a girls weekend and excited for the "sip and soak". We were first scolded for chatting while waiting in the lobby. That should have been our first sign. Then once we were sat in our private area (seated about 15 feet apart so nearly impossible to whisper to each other) and we were settling in we were immediately spoken to by the woman who worked the desk. Before even making it to the 10 minute mark we were spoken to a total of 3 times, the last w a warning they "did not want to come back and have to speak to us again". I quite literally felt like a group of children being yelled at during a sleepover. So, instead of being able to catch up as friends we all sat silently zoned out on our phones. We left w wet soggy feet and while we were getting ready to leave witnessed the woman at the front scolding another group of women for talking while waiting for their appointment. While the soak was nice, the women in charge were rude and patronizing and it was WILD to me the way they spoke to us like we were children and not paying customers. read more

The place is loud, almost impossible to relax with the noise from all the surrounding rooms which are only divided by a thin sheet. Not to mention the chairs are upright and hurt your back and neck. We arrived as a group of 4 - the experience was so much more than I had a expected. The atmosphere was very relaxing, the areas very clean, the staff incredibly kind and patient. I came here with a group of friends to enjoy a nice soak and relaxation. The place is very cute and in the middle of a bunch of outlet shops, so perfect for a soak and then some shopping! They have a large set of options to choose from for the soak and also have add ons for massage and then light food. We were able to all sit together while soaking and throughout the hour a lady would come through and keep adding hot water to the bins so it didn't get cold. I saw on TikTok this very unique experience that included a warm foot soak, a sparking festive drink, individual snacks along with a head/neck/foot massage with oils. This experience was heavenly. We did not know what to expect and it definitely exceeded our expectations. We had Amber as our masseuse and she was wonderful. With the lovely conversation and fantastic massage me and my boyfriend walked out feeling fabulous. Visited The Soaking Pot with my daughter and two friends. The traffic and icy roads made us miss the 15 minute check in deadline but we were there on time for our reservation. Immediately barked at by Amanda who told us she would cut our visit short by 15 minutes. She was overtly angry and we were stunned and silenced. Felt like we were chastised by "teacher". We slunk into the soaking room where we experienced a nice soak but with confused and angry hearts which spoiled the entire experience. Amanda also burst into the room to roughly tell us to lower our voices. Our chairs were quite far apart and speaking slightly louder was necessary to hear each other. She then told us she would allow us to stay the extra 15 minutes after all. But for us, visitors from out of state (two mother/daughter combos), the die was cast and we were unhappy due to Amanda's unprofessional, rude, abrupt and empirical attitude. The woman who refilled our soaking pots was lovely and caring. It's really too bad Amanda spoiled our entire experience. read more

Lovely! My friends and I drove north today to the Soaking Pot with relaxing results! They were able to book 3 of us in at the last minute, each with a 20 minute massage add-on. You select your soak (I chose calming lavender and coconut), your add-ons (we did head, neck and shoulder massage) and if you want tea or any tidbits like charcuterie or macrons etc... They give you a pair of flipflops to wear and a locker to stow your belongings (throw the cell phones in there, you won't need them!) and then they lead you to a private area with very comfortable chairs. As you start to settle in, they bring you a warming pad for your shoulders. Shortly after, they bring your water and put your feet in, making sure that it is a good temperature. The massage was lovely and relaxing and they kept bringing water in to keep the foot bath the appropriate temperature. We were so relaxed and did not want to leave. read more

Amazing. We had been doing some shopping and I spotted this place, I thought it was a tea shop. I went in with the BF and realized this was a heavenly place to not only get tea (and a charcuterie plate if the need arose) but to soak your feet! What? So I desperately tried to convince the BF to do a 30 minute express soak but he opted to go to Home Depot-yuck. So I ordered up and express black soak and a cup of earl gray. In minutes I was handed flips and shown a locker with a key, I changed my shoes, shoved everything in the locker and was escorted to a curtained off room with a chair and table. The most comfortable chair ever. It was dark and had that yoga'ish music playing quietly in the background. I sat down, they wrapped this warm shoulder may around my shoulders and brought over a huge copper pot (I think it was copper-it was dark) filled with herbs and warm/hot water and some smooth rocks on the bottom of the pot. I slipped my feet in, noticed my tea had been placed next to me while I wasn't paying attention and...I fell asleep. Yup. That's all she wrote. Serenity! I love this place. It is a must everytime I visit NH. Always great and relaxing experience. The mood is set perfect in a dimly lit room, zen music playing, and oversized comfy chairs while your feet soak in a large pot of that is frequently refilled with hot water. We did a couples massage, I had no idea what to expect, we were accustomed to your typical massage experience- on a massage table. Which explains my slight confusion when booking the appointment. The staff was very nice, very attentive, covid precautions in place. We sat side by side in raised cushioned chairs. They filled a big basin at our feet with hot water and stones. We had one massage therapist that started with me and after 30min, started on my husband.... the massage therapist was great but I felt kinda bad that my husband had to sit there and basically wait until my massage was done. I recently was part of a group of 4 ladies coming in for a relaxing spa experience. The services were very good, however, management and/or the person handling the front of the house handled our situation very, very poorly. Apparently an extra person that was supposed to be there had booked online unbeknownst to the rest of the group. When it came time to check out, we were told, and I quote, " Well somebody has to pay for it!" Referring to the person that was not able to come to NH that weekend. I get that every business has their policies, but the way this was handled by the front desk person was unacceptable. Perhaps taking deposits or payment in full for the actual soak beforehand would be a better business practice. Our group had all been multiple repeat customers, even purchasing a large multi visit package to use in the coming year. A little good PR and good customer service is not something The Soaking Pot has to offer. We should not have had to pay for someone that we had no idea was even on the reservation! So beware people! You may want to call ahead to be sure you are not charged for a service that didn't exist. Perhaps The Soaking Pot may want to consider adding a confirmation technique like other businesses practice. A text or a call the previous day? I know there are systems in place that could be downloaded and utilized. So for the $40 fee that they collected, they lost 4 plus repeat customers. I've been here a few times with a group of girlfriends and we've always had a lovely experience. This last time, however, was extremely disappointing. The services were great but there was a mix up with our reservation. We booked for 4 but the desk had us listed for 5. We were told we had to pay for the person who wasn't there! "someone has to pay!" The owner/manager could clearly see our history and we even pointed it out. Three of us had been there 3 times previously (9 visits), 1 of us had been there at least six times previously and brought at least 4 other friends (min. 10 visits). That is a lot of business to forfeit for one missed appointment that we didn't make! Very short sighted business approach. If you're going to require payment for missed appointments, you should collect payment upfront from the person booking the appointment OR require confirmation 24 or 48 hours in advance or you lose your spot. We won't be back but at least she collected her $40! read more

An interesting experience and very relaxing environment. My fiancé and I were in North Conway for a mini vacation. We always do something spa-like when we vacation and I found this place. I booked two foot soaks and added an upper body massage for each of us. I have to say my massage was lackluster at best. I think they need to offer a towel or a wrap so that you can remove your shirt for your massage. It was winter when we were there so we were both dressed warmly and it was difficult for the massage therapist to get to my skin underneath my clothes. Even if they had posted somewhere on their website that they recommend a tank top if you choose to add a massage to your soak that would have been better. My therapist kept pulling at and adjusting my sweater and it really distracted from the enjoyment of the massage. I guess now I know for next time. read more

The day of our appt the woman at the front desk; welcoming clients and giving us a first impression of the soakingpot experience was everything but welcoming. There was a misunderstanding of not booking a group rate. (Apparently booking 6 ppl together in advance at the same time isn't considered a group) I understand there was a miss communication but it could have been delt with in a reasonable and pleasant fashion. Tia at the front desk said sorry that they had not updated the website. I am a local native NH. This is massively overpriced for what it is. Even if it was in a major city I would expect much better experience & service. Besides the price, I guess I had both a bad experience & service the night I went. These are the reasons I can only give it one star and don't feel I can give anymore. 1.) Mean front desk woman, made some comments to me, uncomfortable. Also didn't offer me&guest spa pants when I asked about them. Then she hesitated to get them/let me change into them. 2.) Neither me nor my guest smelled any essential oils in our Pot. It just smelled like hot water. No effects on our feet either from the "special mix". Could have just been our own bathtub water. Water got cold pretty fast and it was annoying that the girl kept coming into pour in a small pitcher of hot water 5x to keep it warm at best. 3.) Got add on leg massage/exfoliation. Older woman did it did not put any pressure and I felt no effect after the "massage". The exfoliator did not smell like anything. My guest was male, and he felt nothing at all. 4.) It was $150.00 for both of us, $75 each for this. We felt we could have just soaked in our own bath tub and exfoliated our legs with any exfoliator. We did not feel too relaxed after the entire experience and truly & honestly felt we flushed $150.00 down the drain. 1 star for the nice music and chairs. Curtains didn't do the job well bc were next to the door and it is a huge sliding wooden door that is loud so any new guest we could hear out of the curtains. So we could not fully relax. read more

This place is amazing! We hiked mount washington and figured we'd treat ourselves to a foot soak that evening. The owner was wonderful and explained everything. We were seated in a dim and relaxing private area with soothing music playing. Very comfy chairs. After placing an aromatic hot pack around each person's neck our foot tubs were wheeled in. We also sprung for tea which was delicious. Needless to say we were all relaxed and half asleep within minutes. When it was finished our feet were gently toweled off. We couldn't believe how amazing and soothed our feet felt, especially since we had previously felt hobbled by our hike that day. I wish we had a place like this in New York but I will definitely be returning when we come back for hiking trips. This place is a must after an active day. read more

My friend and I went to visit the Soaking pot. We went last year when it just opened and it was very nice so we decided to go again because they added massages. First of all, love the concept! I got a lavender lemonade, delicious! and my friend got some sort of hot coconut tea. We both added neck and shoulder massage and lower leg massage. The soaking part of The SoakingPot is enjoyable and an experience that you can't find just anywhere. They have a number of soaks to choose from and when available, massage add-ons. Our only issue is that every year we've come here, the front desk workers have been rude. This last time, I was told only 3 spots had been scheduled, when I had actually scheduled 4 spots the day before. I gave all 4 names when scheduling and was instructed to have all 4 of us fill out the questionnaires received via email which we all did. She then proceeded to argue about the situation because they had mistakenly only set up 3 chairs. I understand mistakes can be made but continuing to argue with a customer as opposed to trying to find a resolution to the problem was not the right move. In a huff, she she went outback and eventually resolved the issue. I'm thankful a fourth chair was added but was not about to be congratulatory for this woman simply doing her job and fixing a mistake one of her coworkers made. What a way to start off a "relaxing time" by having to converse with someone who starts that time off by being rude. read more

Amazing!! This place is so relaxing and worth the experience! I've never been to a place like this nor have I even heard of it! On arrival we were given a "menu" and allowed to choose what type of soak we wanted. You then can choose what tea or snacks you may want, I got a flight of iced teas and a coconut truffle. You're then brought into the back which is dark, quiet and peaceful and escorted into a secluded curtained room with giant comfy chairs and pillows. They then place a hot heating pack over your neck and shoulders which feels amazing! They then bring in the giant pot with warm water and whatever you ordered ( Epsom salts,oils etc). There is relaxing music and sounds playing and it is so comfortable you could just fall asleep while enjoying your tea. They also come around several times offering "warm ups" and adding hot water to the pot which was lovely! At the end they towel dry your feet and legs and offer you a peppermint spray which was refreshing. The whole process was very relaxing! After hiking Mt. Washington this is the perfect way to unwind and relax and treat yourself! Would highly recommend this place! read more

literally cannot recommend this place enough. From the outstanding staff, to exquisite foot soak, this place was the top notch. We booked our appointment without an issue very easily and the forms were not lengthy at all. The choices all seemed amazing, so it was hard to decide which one I wanted. I went with the Lavender, and I am so thankful I choose it, as it was spectacular. But, we put our stuff in the locker and was kinda escorted by a staff member into our room. The walk to our room was enchanting. It was silent, except for the sound of the calming music. We were brought into a private room with 4 seats and they were beyond comfortable. Ahhh it was amazing. But, after waiting a hefty 10 minutes, the woman came in with AMAZING heated neck rests, they were great. And finally in came the pots. The water was at a perfect temperature, and the mixture in the pot was soothing. It was a huge lavender blend and I loved it. Then, for 30 minutes, I finally had a moment of relaxation. It felt as if I had no worries, as I sat in the comfortable chair with my feet in warm water. She kept coming in to refresh the water which was perfect. It was so so so relaxing. The music was playing and it was SO ZEN!!! I loved it. The chair again was extremely comfy and they provided blankets and pillows for us to use. It was so tempting to fall asleep (shhh I might have...) But overall, I would recommend it so so so much, I cannot express my love for this place. Please go!! It's a low key business to, so so not worry about it being busy. But, you might want to get out your bills, as it is a slight bit expensive. But don't worry, it's worth every cent.
