I discovered Silent Moment Spa when I was looking for a place that does lymphatic drainage massages. After having a baby and the fact I sit behind a computer all day wfh, my body started building fluids in certain areas like my shoulders and stomach. The massage was even better than I imagined. I was also having upper back pain for a couple months and seeing a physical therapist. The back pain was unexplainable, it could have come from poor posture, but anyways it was cured after my first lymphatic massage. I'm talking COMPLETELY went away a couple days after my massage and stayed away. When I first saw Sil I was as hard as a brick and afterwards I felt so much lighter. I got so many compliments from my friends on how good my body looked. I've made this massage a part of my regular routine! Now in regards to her facials. I have the worst hormonal acne and I wish I took before and after pictures because my skin looks and feels so much better after a few months of seeing Sil. I had a wonderful experience today at a silent moment spa. My team gifted me a prenatal massage, and I'm glad they did because I would have never found this place otherwise. Despite some minor obstacles leading up to my appointment, I was so glad I was able to make it and get my massage. I felt very at ease and well cared for the entire time. I had bad acne and came here over the summer 2018 for a facial and my face was chemically burned. It took months for my face to heal from the burns and even longer for the scarring to heal. I came for a massage and wrap. The massage was very intense. So intense that I had bruises the next day. While I don't mind pressure, I've never left a massage and had bruising. I want a massage for pain relief but also to feel better after and unfortunately that wasn't the case. The wrap is intense and probably not something I would do in the future but that's just me. Today was my first visit; I booked an acupressure massage with Sang (Cho). I've been getting massages for years, mostly Thai massage and reflexology with hard pressure. This was my Mother's Day gift to myself AND I WAS COMPLETELY SATISFIED! First, entering this space was an immediate energy cleanse. Everything about this space encourages peace and relaxation. I went in for a lymphatic drainage massage. I got there 15 min early and the owner told me she starts on time. So on the hour she escorts me to a sauna room with all these products. She didn't tell me this was part of the treatment. I was confused because I just wanted the massage. Anyway I was there for almost 20 minutes. I could hear the therapist chatting with another customer and laughing. The rooms are very tiny. After 20 min she escorts me to my massage. Still confused. Am I getting an hour or whatever time is left? Then when the massage starts it's not even lymphatic. I'm a licensed massage therapist with over 12 years experience. I didn't tell her this but it shouldn't matter. I know the different types of massages. She proceeded to give me a deep tissue massage. Not what I asked for. I still left a generous tip but I won't come here again because I did not get what I asked for. Also the prices are very expensive and it's very hard to book online. read more

After my first visit here - when I left - i believe a dumbfounded expression stuck to my face. I was just in awe. I relieved the experience for a long time. I absolutely love this place! Sil is so caring and you can tell she is really dedicated to her client's well being. I initially went to the spa for a detox wrap, which was wonderful. Sil could tell my lymphatic system was having issues and took extra time to give me a massage to help. Before and after the treatment she asked what has been happening with my body and I told her about my chronic back issues with spasms and pain. She told me about PEMF (pulse electro magnetic frequency) therapy and in particular BEMER, a low frequency PEMF. She gave me a pamphlet and told me to do some research on the net and she would offer me a complimentary session if I was interested. I did my research and found that this type of treatment has been used widely in Europe and in sports medicine in the states for athletes and recovery. I went for my first session with reserved expectations because nothing (steroid shots, PT, massage, acupuncture, even a rhizotomy done at L4 L5) has given me long lasting results. I have been going to Sil, the owner for almost two months. In my first treatment, I was laying there thanking the heavens above that I found her.... I know this sounds cliche, but it is so true. I have now realized that the therapeutic massage I am receiving is crucial to my well being. Hard to explain, but I have had a tight body for so many years, that it simply hurt ALL over. I loved it! I had a 60 minute massage with a 30 min. add on. "A Silent Moment" is just that. I was able to completely relax, clear my mind and enjoy 90 wonderful minutes of bliss. I really wanted to like this place, but it wasn't that great. After reading the rave reviews I was surprised this place had 2 openings for a 90min massage/wrap on mothers day. Mind you I called the day before and all my other favorite spas were booked. Should have been a red flag. I'm assuming the person helping us was the owner. She was a short dark curly haired woman. She was very sweet, brought out a sample of the scrub and lotion and made sure my mom and I were happy with the scents. I told her my mom and I have alot of tension in out back and shoulders and wanted that to be the focus of the massage. She verbalized understanding. The owner lady took my mom and I got another lady who was taller and dirty blonde i think. So i'm asked to lay on the massage bed on my back and cover my boobs with a towel then cover my waist with another towel. I thought that was odd. The massage starts she began massaging my face, shoulder, arms, legs, stomach. Then she places hot, wet towels on my hands and feet and just wrap the blanket on the bed over me. She then massages my scalp and my feet. the whole time i'm thinking, "Oh my gosh shes not going to ask me to lay on my stomach and massage my back." I feel that the stomach lying back massage part is the meat and potatoes of the massage so I was peeved. My other favorite part is the scalp massage, but this lady just "touched" my skin, there was no pressure whatsoever. I felt like she was just petting me throughout the massage. After the massage I was asked how I liked it and how the pressure was. I told her honestly I'm surprised I didn't get a back massage and that the pressure wasn't that great, especially because I didn't get it where I needed it the most. The owner said that with the wrap they only do massage while lying on your back BUT they reach deep down towards your back from the ribcage.... My mom said the owner was strong and the massage was nice, but she wishes she got a back massage too. I felt so jipped. I'm surprised these people got such rave reviews...is it just my mom and I that expects a back massage when paying for a 90 min? I had walked by A Silent Moment a few times, being so close to my home, and was hoping they would have availability to get me in. Syl, the owner was as sweet and as accommodating as she could be. She even stayed past her normal hours of operation to help me out because I was in pain. I read a poor review, and I cannot understand how that could even be possible! She was very soothing and had a great energy about her. I just explained to her my problem area, and she catered her massage for me. At the same time, she does a delicious body scrub while she is massaging and the massage table is heated! It's like a 2 for 1! I left feeling a million times better, and with super soft skin.
