This is my third time using G - medical for a massage. I have trigeminal neuralgia and wanted to try the TMJ massage combined with neuromuscular to see if it would make a difference difference in the nerve pain in my face. Yesterday I saw Mateo, and can truly say that this massage was one of the best ones I've ever had. The discussion beforehand was super helpful so I could explain all the areas that were really bothering me. Mateo was very attentive and also seemed to hit all the problem areas in my neck, shoulders and jaw. The other therapist I saw there were great, but Mateo really seemed to have a knack for finding each of the areas that seem to be directly connected to the pain in my head and face. Queennie listened, assessed, and created a plan targeting the areas. After a couple of visits, I've felt physically better which helped me throughout my physically demanding workdays. I went in just for a maintenance massage (therapeutic), after finally feeling back to normal, and this service was very relaxing and soothing. Great vibe overall! Everyone is very nice here. I've had a couple prenatal massages prior at various places and Lexlia is definitely in the top tier! She is friendly, attentive, and makes sure to address your concerns. Some therapists like to talk during the session but Lexlia kept it minimal which I greatly appreciated since I personally feel that a quiet environment adds to relaxation. I was a client of G-Medical Massage Spa about 10 years ago, and had always had a great experience. Then, Giovanna was my massage therapist and she was attentive and professional. I had moved away from the area and had not found another spa that compared - but as of the past year, I've moved back and live nearby! I am so glad they are still around! I have been getting prenatal massages with Lexi and plan to continue getting massages with her after I deliver. He is very professional and takes time to discuss your concerns before starting your massage. He uses a perfect amount of pressure to address your needs. When the massage is done, not only am I super relaxed, the tension in my neck and lower back are released. This makes me feel refreshed, energized, and yet relaxed (this may sound like an oxymoron, but you have to experience this to understand). I had previously gone to several other massage therapists, but they all seemed too hesitant to give adequate pressure and I was left very unsatisfied. For context, I used to get massages from foot spas and Massage Envy to be cost efficient. However I decided to try something new. Loved the online booking system, very straightforward as their menu is extensive and descriptive. I really appreciate their holistic/health approach to massages. It's more expensive than your typical foot spa and Massage Envy but the quality completely makes it worth it. Love the large parking lot, love the location and love the little garden area of the premise. They are located on the second floor. Upon entry the space is very calm, inviting and serene. The front desk is very warm, attentive and welcoming. Felt extremely zen and happy to be there. I was checked in right away and seen almost immediately. My masseuse was amazing. She asked me questions about my lifestyle and my pain points/areas on my body that needed extra attention. I booked a 60 minute deep tissue massage. I've never had a customized massage before and it was absolutely incredible. I was having upper back and shoulder pain and she focused most of her efforts on my problem areas. The room was very calm, had calming music, essential oils and loved that the face mat was scented. I asked for medium pressure and it was perfect. Throughout the entire massage she made sure the pressure was okay. When she was done, she immediately told me how tense I was and that a 60 min massage was not enough and to get a 90 min cupping session next. I look forward to my next visit and trying out their different options.
