This tea house is darling and exactly what I was looking for to have afternoon tea with my husband while in the area. We chose one of the Valentine teas and it was a perfect black tea. The tower of tea sandwiches and sweets were all delicious and filling. The owner goes above and beyond for her guests. Highly recommended you check out this beautiful tea house.

Absolutely lovely!! I am blessed that they are only 5 minutes away from where I work so when I need a tea and scone fix it is convenient and delicious. The inside was adorable, just like a tea shop should be, with tea sets, vintage furniture, and knickknacks galore. I had the petite tea which included a chicken salad sandwich, two scones, fruit, pot of tea, and a dessert. They offer High Tea twice a year and require reservations. I had the "Red High Heels and Chocolate" decaf tea and ended up buying more to take home.

A Southern Cup is a tea house in Hendersonville that is enchanting af. Make sure you look for the little sign with the teacup on it when you drive by, they're easy to miss since they're set back a little ways off Greenville Hwy. in a 100 year old building. Charming, charming, charming. There's plenty of free parking - so don't stress out about having to parallel or worry about spare change to pay for a spot. The shop is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11-5, and offers splendid loose tea to go, in ridiculously fancy nomz flavors like 'apple spice', 'maple walnut', 'spiced rum' and so many more, that are not only yummy- but very reasonably priced. In additional to tea for sale by the bag; they offer English lunch teas (mini sammiches anyone?!) and afternoon light tea that includes tea and scones. The Traditional English tea that come with tea sandwiches, and desserts from Gateaux in downtown Hendo - is by reservation only (for the light afternoon tea you can just pop on by). Not only does Southern Cup offer vegan options in coordination with Garlik Vegan, they've got gluten free options as well. Make sure you check out the details on the outside of the building before you go in - like the dreamy porch adorned with a teacup chandelier. The inside is just as sweet as the exterior; with lots of seating options - one table is cuter than the next, and there are more fancy chandeliers to be seen. For my tea I ordered a "Apple spice" green tea. While I was sitting and waiting for my tea- I got to enjoy the smell of fresh baking scones and talk to my haunted dolls. Just kidding - I left them at home in the attic where they belong (intricately placed - ready to spook the HVAC guy next time he has to come for a maintenance call). On that note; my scones came out from the kitchen hot and fresh on a fancy antique plate, with a side of fresh grapes. They included little side dishes of butter, southern curd, and raspberry jam. Soon after came the tea pot with the freshly brewed tea. My tea was delicious- very flavorful and just the right temperature. The scones were definitely homemade and tasted light and flaky with just the right amount of buttery taste. Southern Cup is the perfect place for an indulgent afternoon snack after shopping (I suggest the Blue Ridge Humane Society Thrift Shop right down the road), a full fancy lunch, or even a bridal shower! Have you always wanted to feel like a princess? Did your parents never take you to Disney because they were evil soulless monsters? If so - check out Southern Cup, you'll totally feel like royalty without having to drive all the way to Florida. And, don't forget to wear your tiara!

They have a drive through, but considering that it was my first time here, I wanted to get a better idea of the options/menu, so we went in. It gives off old school diner eclectic vibes, which is cool with me. The staff was friendly and greeted us after finishing up the drink they were making. We took some time to check out the menu & landed on an iced Turtle - one of those listed under "specialty drinks," which was caramel, dark chocolate, and butter pecan. I was a little nervous when I got it because of the amount of syrup in the bottom, so I gave it a good stir. Flavor was a little strong, mostly from the dark chocolate (which I'm not the biggest dark chocolate fan to begin with), but after a good mix, all blended pretty well. I enjoyed the flavor and would certainly drink it again, but would like to try another option to explore more of the menu. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing through the area.

They also have loose leaf tea jars that you can bring up and they will make a cup of tea for you. They have pastries, hand made crafts and other small items for sale. Staff were quick and friendly. Overall it's a cute, old fashioned little place that I would totally come back to next time I'm in town.

Usually we come around 10ish and there's a small wait or the place is just really packed (even outdoor seating). But today we stopped around 8:30 and there was only a couple of tables taken up. We were greeted with a smile right away and taken to a table. We were given 2 different menus. One containing the different breakfast and brunch options they offer and the second one with the coffees and alcoholic beverages. Once you look at the menu you see that there is a lot of the basic breakfast options you can find at other restaurants. But what also makes the menu different is that they offer latin breakfast and lunch items like huevos rancheros, huevos con chorizo, tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. Since it was so early I decided to go with the huevos rancheros since I've never had them here before. I also decided to go with the honey bear latte (iced) with oat milk as my drink for this morning. My latte was really good! It had hints of vanilla, cinnamon, and honey. The oat milk mixed in perfectly making the latte have a nice creamy taste. Once my dish came out I was happy at the presentation of the plate. I ordered my eggs overhard and they came topped with salsa roja, queso fresco, and cilantro. All of this was placed on top of a fried tortilla and given to me with a side of home fries. Over all I did like the dish. I will say the salsa roja threw me off because I expected it to be a little more spicy, however it had a more citrus/lime taste to it. The home fries however were a 10/10 for me, I liked how crispy they were and how I didn't need to add more salt and pepper to them. Overall I really did enjoy my time this morning at Arabella's. Our server was super nice and attentive with us. The atmosphere is calming. Also it's nice to see the people of Hendersonville coming in and supporting this local business. If you're from the area or a tourist definitely check this place out. You wont be dissapointed.
