If you've never ate here at Arabella's, you should really go try it out. The food is absolutely delicious. The decision on making what to eat now is a little hard. It took me a good little while cause I was deciding from three different things. The next time I go, I will get the Cuban sandwich but I ordered this thing with hashbrowns and sausage and gravy and egg and cheese on it. This morning my family and I decided to get up early and grab a bite at Arabella's in downtown Hendersonville. Usually we come around 10ish and there's a small wait or the place is just really packed (even outdoor seating). But today we stopped around 8:30 and there was only a couple of tables taken up. We were greeted with a smile right away and taken to a table. We were given 2 different menus. One containing the different breakfast and brunch options they offer and the second one with the coffees and alcoholic beverages. Once you look at the menu you see that there is a lot of the basic breakfast options you can find at other restaurants. But what also makes the menu different is that they offer latin breakfast and lunch items like huevos rancheros, huevos con chorizo, tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. Since it was so early I decided to go with the huevos rancheros since I've never had them here before. I also decided to go with the honey bear latte (iced) with oat milk as my drink for this morning. My latte was really good! It had hints of vanilla, cinnamon, and honey. The oat milk mixed in perfectly making the latte have a nice creamy taste. Once my dish came out I was happy at the presentation of the plate. I ordered my eggs overhard and they came topped with salsa roja, queso fresco, and cilantro. All of this was placed on top of a fried tortilla and given to me with a side of home fries. Over all I did like the dish. I will say the salsa roja threw me off because I expected it to be a little more spicy, however it had a more citrus/lime taste to it. The home fries however were a 10/10 for me, I liked how crispy they were and how I didn't need to add more salt and pepper to them. Overall I really did enjoy my time this morning at Arabella's. Our server was super nice and attentive with us. The atmosphere is calming. Also it's nice to see the people of Hendersonville coming in and supporting this local business. It was our first time at this restaurant. Line of people outside waiting and we were told the wait time would be at least 30 minutes. Well we were just two people and we waited only about 15 minutes. Bigger parties might be a bit longer most likely but even the bigger parties moved pretty fast too. Once we were sitting down, it took us longer to decide what to get because there were so many things to choose from. Once we ordered the food came very quickly and hot. The food was great as well. We stayed at a nearby inn which provided us with vouchers for this establishment since it seems they no longer offer breakfast themselves. We ate here twice for breakfast, once outdoors and once indoors. This is definitely a neighborhood gem and well patronized. The staff were young but friendly, and the food and coffee were delicious. We got a tip that it can fill up quickly so we made sure to get there earlier rather than later. Located in downtown Hendersonville, good luck finding parking nearby. We could have selected parking several blocks away but needed to be closer. We eventually did get lucky and found someone leaving as we came up to their space and were ultimately able to park about a block away. Something good to note is parking is free on Sunday. Otherwise you need to feed the meter. I do not know if they take reservations. We arrived about 10am and waited 30 minutes for a table. While waiting, I ordered a coffee from the bar. It took about 15 minutes to be ready so I still had some left when they called us for a table. We took first available and got a table up a step in a small dais so be aware if members of your party have mobility issues. The tables are pretty close together, so maneuvering is tricky anyway. Our server arrived quickly. The menu is extensive menu with a good description of each dish. there is also a large drink menu for coffee as well as mixed drinks. We made our selections and waited about 20 minutes for our orders to arrive. The loaded hash browns were very good. The sausage is locally sourced and has a lot of flavor. The gravy is thick without being like glue, and the overall flavors were excellent. I would definitely order this again. The chicken tostada was good as well. The flavors blended well and the overall dish was excellent. My dining partner raved about it for the rest of the day. Our only real complaint was the acoustics make for a high background noise bordering on uncomfortable. Conversation required a louder voice and lip reading. We noticed this when we walked in and it never let up the time we were there. Otherwise, this is a great place for brunch with excellent food and service. read more

My husband, sister, and brother-in-law all stopped in here yesterday (a Friday afternoon) for brunch. The outside patio area was well shaded and is dog friendly. The weather was perfect and it was a great time sitting outside. Our server was sweet and I don't know if she was working tables inside and outside, but she took a long time to greet us/bring waters/get our orders. Overall, the service was incredibly slow our entire time there (our drinks and food took a very long time to come out as well). Not sure if that is typical since this was our first time visiting. I ordered the s'mores latte, my husband ordered the honey bear latte, my sister ordered the cinn bun latte, and my BIL ordered an americano. All of the coffees came out hot and were delicious. My sister ordered a tequila sunrise and BIL ordered a screwdriver and they enjoyed those as well. Later on I ordered a classic mimosa that was apparently forgotten about, but was brought out promptly after asking if it would be out soon. For food both my sister and BIL ordered the chilaquiles rojas (sister opted for rice, BIL opted for home fries). They were essentially breakfast nachos since only the very bottom tortillas were even somewhat wet. My sister said the rice was unseasoned and tasted like minute rice, but both of them overall were happy with their breakfast. I ordered the Cuban mojo pork with home fries and while it was filling, it really lacked any sort of seasoning. The pork was tender and juicy, but had no flavor whatsoever (I even added hot sauce, but that didn't do much because everything was so wet). My husband ordered the huevos motulenos and enjoyed his food, the fried plantains were the star of the show. All of our breakfasts came with a corn and black bean "salad" that we felt lacked any flavor as well. Overall, it was kind of a let down experience ordering from the "classic latin" side of the breakfast menu. Maybe their "from the griddle" breakfast side or lunch menu is better to order from. My family and I decided to stop by Arabella Breakfast and Brunch en route to South Carolina from Asheville. Arabella seemed like the only restaurant in the small downtown area, so the place was popular on a Sunday morning. However, the three of us were able to be seated soon after we entered. There is a lot to choose from on the menu, with many classic, breakfast items, as well as Latin-inspired breakfast dishes. I ended up ordering the huevos motulenos, which included a chorizo patty, two tortillas, beans and corn, fried eggs with salsa, plantains and I chose potatoes for my side. For a drink I ordered an iced pumpkin chai latte. The food was good. I liked making tacos with all the fixin's with my tortillas, so wished it came with more than two tortillas, but all good. The chorizo was flavorful, but just a tad on the dryer side, like it was slightly on the griddle for too long. The potatoes were delicious as they were home fries that were seasoned well and every one of them was crispy. I liked the spice from the salsa on the eggs. Not a bad dish. Started with the breakfast chilaquiles and they arrived with all the supposedly fresh corn chips all soggy. The whole point of chilaquiles is to enjoy it with crispi warm chips. Changed it for the huevos Motuleños. Very average and little flavors. Chorizo was nothing special. And for the price I expected more. This was most definitely the perfect spot for brunch! I came with a group of 7 friends on a Saturday morning and they were able to sit us within 20 minutes. We ordered a carafe of mimosa for the table which was $28 (a steal!) and we were all able to get 1-2 mimosas from it. The restaurant is small, but cozy, and at no point did we feel cramped. Nice staff - clean spacious space- oddly they didn't have just a plain egg plate offer - you have to A la cart your way there - seem like every plate option included either pancakes or French toast! As an out of towner I've eaten here twice with my last time being yesterday. This visit I had the Chicken Pot Pie and it was awesome. This morning however the service was a bit off... not a knock on the actual server, she was awesome. But covering inside tables and outside patio had her spread very thin and waits for drinks/refills/check were much longer than expected. Holy cow let me tell you this place is wonderful! Nestled right on the Main Street of downtown Hendersonville, there's a perfect patio and cute interior restaurant to this place. With the warm coffee smells and food, it's welcoming and inviting. Boasting a Latin breakfast, with a massive coffee and cocktail selection, this place has everything one could desire from a brunch spot. I got the chilaquiles rojos and I am a stickler about this dish. It was perfect and authentic. With a solid rojo sauce, perfectly cooked eggs, flavorful bean and corn salad with rice, this was a dish that I have searched for, for a while. I paired it with a gingerbread chai, which was excellent for the 68 degree weather outside while we dined on the sidewalk patio. This place has many, many other food selections and beverages. Shoutout to Arabella on Main Street in downtown Hendersonville! I ordered their Scrambled Bowl. For their Scramble Bowl, you choose a meat, type of cheese and two toppings. (I go with egg whites, Swiss cheese and double mushrooms). The egg whites were so nice and fluffy with the right amount of Swiss and the mushrooms are sauted to perfection. We order a side of fresh fruit instead of home fries. The coffee at Arabella is hot and flavorful. Kat is our waitress extraordinare! . We just love seeing Kat, she always makes your day. Always friendly and smiling. Kat remembers you and she remembers your previous orders. If you order an omelet, she will ask if you want it made with egg whites. Kat remembers that I like regular coffee and my husband Terry usually orders water. She also remembers that when he does order coffee, it's decaf. If Kat sees you coming in the door, she is walking up with your cup of coffee. Especially when you have a lot of things clouding your mind, Kat remembers you like the egg whites. She is a very special and genuine person. All of that means a lot. The entire staff is very attentive and the chefs always cook up your order just right. You definitely eat with your eyes first at Arabella. Top notch every time. We also love seeing Adrian, he helps to keep Arabella spotless. He always says hello with his great smile. The omelet was good, but I wasn't a fan of the avocado mash texture inside. I think I would have preferred slices on the outside. Flavor was great! I had a fruit cup as my side in order to accommodate for gf no cross contamination. The fruit, while standard, was delicious! They were all so kind and happy to make suggestion. The coffee here is really great! I hesitate to order special coffee drinks because sometimes they're too sugary or not strong enough. That wasn't the case here. My cafe con leche was delicious til the last sip. The Inflation breakfast was perfect for me - awesome scrambled eggs, flakey biscuit, and hot grits (the grits are plain and would be awesome with a pat of butter - I ate them plain because I'm watching my cholesterol). The pancakes weren't my preference but my husband absolutely loved them. They're kind of rustic and have a nice crisp to the outside. He enjoyed his potatoes, bacon, and eggs, also.
