We used this company for prom transportation and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The first party bus that arrived was not in acceptable condition. The air conditioning in the back of the bus was not working, there was a strong moldy odor inside the vehicle, and there was water on the floor. When this was brought to the driver's attention, he said the AC would begin working once the bus started moving. After he drove the bus and returned, it was still blowing warm air and he mentioned that the coolant light had come on. Because the bus was clearly not usable in that condition, the owner later arrived with a replacement bus. While we appreciated that the kids were ultimately able to get to prom, the group ended up leaving approximately 40-45 minutes later than planned. When I asked if there might be any consideration for a discount due to the condition of the original vehicle and the delay, the owner repeatedly stated that "it's not about the money" but declined to offer any adjustment. During the conversation she also mentioned several times that she had come from a funeral and referenced a small pickup time change. Unfortunately, there was never an apology for the condition of the original vehicle or the delay. When I mentioned that I would be leaving a review about the experience, the situation escalated and she stated that she would not take the kids after they were already seated on the bus ready to leave. At that point we simply asked that the kids be taken safely to their destination. To make matters more concerning, another parent later saw the original bus broken down less than two miles from the pickup location, which raised additional concerns about the condition of the vehicle. I reached out privately to the company first to give them the opportunity to address the situation before posting publicly, but never received a response. For events like prom where parents are trusting a company to safely transport their kids, the condition and reliability of the vehicle should never be a question. I would still be happy to update this review if the company is willing to resolve the situation. Update: After posting this review, the owner contacted me directly to discuss the situation. She apologized and issued a partial refund. I appreciate her reaching out to address the concern. read more

REALLY 0 STARS.... I would love to rate this limo company, unfortunately, they didn't show up for the job they were hired for. We booked the company for a ride to O'Hare and 15 minutes after the time they were supposed to have arrived, I called inquiring where the limo was. The woman on the phone, Elvira, who I believe was the owner, had no idea that the limo never arrived. She told me she would call the driver to see what was happening. She called back to say that no limo would be coming. I'm unclear as to why the limo didn't show, however, I find it hard to believe that if the limo wasn't coming that the owner and driver weren't communicating with each other for someone to call me. Sad that this company has no regard for their customers, or should I say non-customer, because I would never give them a second chance. read more

My daughter and her friends had her prom this May and the service was perfect! They were on time and very professional! The car was nice and clean, and it fit all of her friends! The driver was very nice and made sure the kids got home safely! I would highly recommend this limo service! read more

Highly Recommended!! My Husband and I just had our wedding February 7th. Despite all the closures and limitations because of corona, A Stars Limo was on top of their game. The limo was so clean with a fully loaded cooler including some of our favorite spirits! The driver was also very respectful of our guests and helped every one of us in and out of the vehicle. Only good thing was they did show up on time. Owners seemed nice but Said they would decorate for our wedding but nothing. I didn't really care but my wife would have enjoyed it. Total trip was maybe 10 miles tops, Bluetooth / aux would not work and asked driver if he knew how to get it working but he didn't give a shit. Didn't even get up to try to help. Had the listen to static radio the entire time so that was an awesome huh? Only used bus for 3 hours and Of those 3 hours maybe 30 minutes of actually being in the bus. So I didn't think it was too much to ask. I couldn't wait to get off that thing cuz whole experience was terribly disappointing. My husband and I got married on November 24, and used AStars Limo for our party bus. We rented the 26 person party bus, and had an amazing time. From the lights inside the bus, to the bottles of Champagne we were given to celebrate our marriage, our experience was nothing short of perfect! If I could give no stars I would. Horrible experience. It is a total scam. Claimed we put a hole in the seat- when the driver came back with three owners, there was no hole but a kicked in lighting system that we did not do. Complete scam. You cannot "party" at all on this bus. You get yelled at for standing. The driver turned the radio off on the way home and claimed we broke it. I have not officially used this service yet, but so far, they would get 4.5 stars if that were possible. I met Benny (the guy that seems to run the show) at the Bridal Expo in Oakbrook over the weekend. My fiance and I had not yet booked our limo but had certainly done pricing. Benny's fleet is fantastic, and so is his service. I looked at the cars he had (a Hummer 26 passenger with wing-doors, old fashioned 'benz cars...) and though, "eh, way out of our price range" ..... But Benny took the time to stop and chat with my mom, the mother of the groom, and myself about pricing, options, and that they actually were affordable. He gave us info and we went on our way. I looked at their website when I got home thinking, "this has to be too good to be true" but I sent them an email to see what we could work out. They were incredibly prompt, contacted me within 12 hours of my email, and when I called back (after missing their call), they were very cordial and willing to help with our wedding. I did not feel ANY pressure, and was just really impressed with the way things were run. Benny reminds me of a gentleman that would own a restaurant with family cooking, where everyone is welcome, and everyone is family....and that's definitely someone I want on our side the day of our wedding. Again, haven't used them yet b/c the wedding is next April, but so far, A+! Quick response time, easy to work with, and a fantastic attitude (and pretty cool cars to choose from for reasonable prices). We may even use them for our bachelorette/bachelor parties now too. read more

Let this be your warning: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! My husband and I originally booked with Exquisite Limousine as his sister used them for his wedding but they subcontracted A Stars for our wedding (which was in their contract that they could do). From the start we found it weird that the wrong bus showed up but not a big deal, we moved past it. The colors were completely wrong, slightly irritating. Then the half hour drive from the ceremony to pictures was awful, the back of the bus kept bottoming out, the driver was swerving all over the lane, he missed his turn and had to turn around right into oncoming traffic! To top it off, once we got to the reception the driver said we were past our contract time and owed $200. Our contract clearly stated we had it until 6:30 and it was 6:15 when we arrived at the reception. When my husband asked him to show his copy of the contract he somehow couldn't get it. He called the owner of the company who told my husband that unless he paid the driver $200 he would call the cops. It was our wedding day and with people waiting to greet us we didn't want to deal with it and just paid it and we'd figure it out later. We were going on our honeymoon in the morning so my husband had $200 cash on him that he gave the driver, HUGE mistake. Once we got back from our honeymoon we called A Stars and explained the situation. Right off the bat they were extremely rude to us and kept saying we're lying about the contract, that we modified it, and that we only paid the driver $100 and had told him to take the rest out of his tip (mind you my husband tipped him $140 that morning BEFORE he even picked me and the bridesmaids up not knowing how the drive would be but trusting it would be good since we had a good experience for his sister's wedding). We had to call multiple times, my mother-in-law had to call and each time we spoke with them they were extremely rude. I have worked in retail and currently am in healthcare and could never imagine talking to a customer or patient the way they spoke to us. We kept offering to come to their location and meet with them and the driver who was accusing us of only giving him $100 when there were multiple witnesses who saw him get $200, when we shouldn't have even paid because we didn't go over our contract time in the first place. They agreed to have a meeting with us but two days before we were supposed to drive down there they magically found the contract and sent us a check for $200. The entire time they kept saying "this is not our fault" and kept blaming Exquisite Limos for all the mess ups, including the colors for the bus which was clearly listed on the contract they had, and saying there was absolutely no way there was anything wrong with the bus. This "family business," as the owner kept repeating, is a bunch of liars and thieves and if they want to have drivers that are very clearly stealing from them and hoping to get away with it then that's their problem (the driver obviously was smart and didn't think we would contact them since Exquisite subcontracted with them and since we paid him in cash there was really no "proof" just our word and witnesses versus his). If I could give them 0 stars I would but fair warning, stay away! More grief than what it's worth, especially on a special day such as your wedding. If you are going to go with them, DO NOT USE CASH! read more

I used A stars Limo for my wedding day!! Worst choice ever!!! They did not show up on time nor did the limo have the decorations that we were told would be on there.. I had walk across the street on a busy street to even get in my limo instead of the driver coming up to the church door how he is supposed to be. 2 mins into the ride our AC wouldn't stay on mind being its 97 degrees out side. Every time we played music the AC would shut off so we had to stop a total of 7 times during the ride.. The Owner came to our Picture location (after we finally arrived a hr later from all the stops we had to make because of the AC not working) and tried to address the situation saying nothing is wrong with Limo for me to CALM DOWN!!! Um excuse me no if I payed you in full almost $800.00 you should have everything perfect!! They offered service for after the wedding. Once being dropped off at our venue (again late for that) I told the driver as well as my mother I did not want the limo to come back because the service we had was terrible.!! after my wedding was over I had multiple texts as well as phone calls from the owner saying where am she is waiting outside.. Zero starts if I could. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! This is regarding our transportation on March 5, 2020 to O'Hare airport. I booked for a limo service with the price quoted of $120. Upon our pick up, a Lincoln car picked us up. We asked the driver (who of no fault of his own) told us that he was informed that morning at 3am to pick us up. We inquired about the price and he said the company told him it was $120. How is the price the same for a car vs a limo? This was beyond disappointing and a rip off. We emailed the company and they replied the following, "we are very sorry for the inconvience. However, the limosine you booked was involved in an accident on the same night. We had to get you another vehicle in order for you not to miss your flight. We are truly sorry, but incidents do occur. The company that came to get you was paid on our behalf, which was more than what we charged you." read more

Since the last time I used them--a couple of years ago, A-Star Limo has become a disgrace! The SUV limo (dbl-axle Excursion) arrived to pick up my wedding party with packing tape on the head lights, rusted light panels on the exterior, soiled shagged carpet on the interior, and missing moulding around the windows. To add insult to injury, when I called the owner and shared my concern with the condition and overall safety of the vehicle---she refused to acknowledge that the condition of the vehicle was sub-standard and would not issue a refund. We were forced to find other transportation 30 minutes prior to the wedding ceremony and had to scramble to find transportation to get the wedding party to the reception. I met this limo company for my wedding on May 14 2011 I met the owners at the bridal show and they seemed very nice and also went to there house to see there limos....everything seemed good until the day of the wedding we ordered the h2 hummer double axle with doors that swing up when the limo showed up to pick me up it was the h2 hummer double axle differant doors and not the one they had originally showed us...then before the wedding I made sure that I sent over all the adresses for the locations we where going to and they didnt have it so I ended up being the direction person on my wedding YEA........Also they dont tell you that they run serveral differant company with differant names I contracted through ASTARSLIMO and hollywood limo was the one who came to pick me up.....When I callled Benny wife after the wedding all she could do is blame everything on the driver and could not care what we had to deal with on my wedding day........I would not go with this company they didnt even call me to let me know that the limo I ordered would not be the one that would pick me up.......HORRIBLE read more

I really liked this limo company until he dropped us off after a ride from O'Hare (which cost 75). We only had larger bills (50's) and tried to tip 20% but he carried NO change. So we scrounged for what we did have which amounted to only a 6 buck tip. He came back to the house, knocked on the door and GAVE US BACK the tip!! Too small for him...but he carried NO CHANGE :( . My experience with this company was awful. We had the party bus scheduled to pick us up from the airport after our vacation. When we called saying we were ready to be picked up. They told us they had nothing available because we "told" them to come at 11:30 pm. We didn't or wouldn't say that considering we landed at 1. There was also a language barrier and they had our flight information to look at as well. It was a group of 14 and we had to search for several people to pick us up and we had to wait an additional hour at the airport.
