I was on party bus duty for my daughter's recent high school dance. I priced out a few companies with party buses and 312 Limo was the most reasonable price. To be honest it was still a little expensive considering they were driving from Wilmette to Northfield to Glencoe, but less than the other: $840 for a 3 hour minimum for a party bus of 28. We also didn't need it for the entire 3 hours, but the options I found were either one way or 3-4 hour minimums so this was the best deal. I found their communication to be stellar both via email and text. The bus driver was on time and the kids had no trouble locating the party bus when they came out of the dance and I've heard it was one of many party busses. A few of my daughter's friends hopped on for the way home and commented that this bus was way nicer than the one they took to the dance from another company. Overall, it was a success. For the finale family event for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary, we wanted to surprise them with a limo into Chicago for lunch and to the cathedral where they were married. After setting up a quote online, I was able to reserve the date and put down a deposit. All the policies were clearly explained and the communication was in a very timely manner. Since the limo was a surprise for my parents, I was able to note that when making the reservation, as well as select the stops and approximate timing for the day. I received confirmation reminders prior to the reservation. When the big day arrived, I received a text from Harris letting us know that he was down the street. He wanted to be sure that he didn't arrive too early and spoil the surprise. I was able to let him know how the timing was going, and he was ready with the door open as my parents came outside. They were so surprised that it didn't really sink in until they got inside and saw how incredible everything looked. There were waters and sodas with ice for us, and Harris had set the air at the perfect temperature. The ride to lunch was so smooth. Even in horrible Lake Shore Drive traffic, Harris navigated through the turns like a pro. He opened the doors for us and we agreed to communicate when we had 10-15 minutes of lunch remaining. Although getting our bill for lunch took longer than expected, Harris was so patient and had the limo ready when we finally made it downstairs. From there, we made a quick stop for photos at the church where my parents were married and then headed back home. Harris was absolutely outstanding for the whole afternoon and made the trip flawless. I will definitely be using The 312 Limo if I ever need a ride for a special occasion in the future. 312 Limo sent the wrong size buses for my group without any communication. Due to their error, the buses left our start location late, but no time was added to our reservation to compensate. Instead, the drivers insisted the buses needed to return to their start location half an hour earlier than the contracted time because they failed to leave a buffer before the next reservation. Drivers did not seem knowledgeable about the routes, and even went to the wrong location at one point, refusing to listen to the passengers who pointed out their error. Another bus dropped passengers off in the wrong location, though luckily only a few blocks away. Overall, 312 Limo was incredibly disorganized and unprofessional! Absolutely wild response from Dan! The person who answered the phone was rude and tried to argue me down about them, not taking a dollar out of my account but didn't give me a price and he telling me no they didn't they don't do that and talking over me and being rude and then when I asked to speak to his manager, he's like I'm just gonna cancel your reservation and if you actually wanna book an appointment, that's why I called to book an appointment. I hired this service for my son's wedding last weekend and they were 100% perfect. I was nervous as I was planning this from out of state and wanted to ensure the limos would be on time to take the wedding parties from the hotel and to the venue and back again at the end of the night. I chose 312 because of their 5 star rating on The Wedding Wire and they did not disappoint. Ravin, our driver contacted me ahead of time and asked for contact names and numbers for each trip (he made 2 from the hotel to the venue and one at the end of the night). I was worried because it was a weird pick-up spot, but the car was waiting there. I chose this company because of all the great reviews on YELP and was deeply disappointed in their service. This is a service industry geared toward special events so you would think customer service and punctuality would be important. I called to confirm all the details the day before my confirmed reservation and pick up. Emsi advised that everything is all set and not to worry. My pick was confirmed for 11:15 AM going to the Cubs game for a group of 10. At 11:30AM the limo van had not arrived and no call or text to advise the driver was running late. I called 312 and the dispatcher had no idea where the driver was or why he wasn't there. Dispatcher advised he would call me right back....another 15 minutes go by and NO call back. I call again and ask what is going on & we are now 30 minutes late....the dispatcher advises the driver is not responding and is sending ANOTHER driver that is 30 minutes away!!! An hour later than my original pick up time and we will not only be late for the game but miss the special Rizzo ceremony on Saturday before the game. The dispatcher then tells me well, it's out of his control and all he can do is get another driver there and texts me the "NEW" drivers number. When I contact the "NEW" driver and ask him when he will arrive he tells me yeah, they must have given me the wrong pick up time???? So infuriating when you pay hundreds of dollars, make and confirm reservation details and hear, well it's out of my control!!!
