I recently won a storage unit on an auction site through this storage facility, the staff (female) was extremely rude. She gave an extremely limited window for pickup, I called her back to ask if the unit was rentable (due to a U-haul not being available in the area) she then proceeded to become extremely distraught and hang up. Shortly after I received a call from the auction site saying that they canceled our auction and we were never aloud to bid on units that they had up for auction...because I asked her a simple question. The worst customer service of any storage place or any business! I can go into a long story of how these people are but the first sentence sums it up. I told them their customer service sucked, and was treated with an 2 week eviction notice, and when I stated I was paid for the whole month I was told it was irrelevant. BUYER BEWARE: RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE. SHE WILL RENT YOUR UNIT TO SOMEONE ELSE AND KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT. THE FINE PRINT IN THE AGREEMENT LETS HER KEEP YOUR MONEY FOR BASICALLY ANYTHING SHE DEEMS A VIOLATION. I rented a storage unit from them to store my boat for the winter. I rented the unit in September and the boat was due to be winterized the first week of October. In mid September I received a call from them stating that because I had not locked my empty unit yet they rented it to someone else. This person as very rude when I asked why they didn't just reach out to me and let me know that I needed to put a lock on the unit even while empty. She didn't have a reason only that she doesn't have to do any of that. Through text she told me that once my key card is received she will issue me any refund that is due. I sent her the key card back and 30 days later I received refund check of $32.00. I paid this facility $199.00 for the first months rent and a security deposit. When I asked her about the $75.00 security deposit she told me she didn't have to give it back. So basically she kept my money and provided no service.
