The four of us loved everything about this restaurant, most of all the food. It was definitely elevated! We each ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their food. What a great restaurant! From the food made with quality ingredients, the friendly and efficient service, and the cute restaurant and decor this was a great experience. We were in town for a wedding and hadn't eaten yet so since we had a few hours before the wedding we decided to get a bite to eat. The reviews looked good so we decided to give it a try. It's a nice, open-feeling space on the main street and is nicely decorated. My husband ordered the BLT on marble rye and I ordered the turkey wild rice wrap with a bowl of their Soup-of-the-Day which was Split Pea with ham (a personal favorite). The soup was AMAZING! Thick and flavorful with chunks of tender ham....Yummy!! I got the wrap and while the ingredients were great it was a bit too sweet for me. May have been due to the grapes and cranberries in it, but it needed something to balance the sweetness out a bit. Maybe salt, maybe some herbs...but not bad really...just a little sweet. My husband's BLT was very good and all the ingredients were fresh and tasty. It could have used a little more bacon for a better ratio but still very good. It came with some delicious chips. The service was terrific! Our server was warm and personable while still being very efficient. Overall it was a terrific experience and I am sure their other menu items are also tasty :) read more

Cute little restaurant downtown. Not many options in this small town. Brought the family in while in town for the day. We were all very happy with our meals! All the food was delicious, boys all loved the garlic cheesy burgers on a pretzel bun. My BLT and creamy cucumbers hit the spot. Another favorite was the chicken artichoke wrap. Deserts were crème brûlée, carrot cake, and the seasonal cookie and creme cheesecake. The cheesecake and carrot cake were our favorites! But what really made this experience was the service from Jill! We (unknowingly) came 10 min before kitchen closed. An old hardware store with high ceilings turned into a modern American-food restaurant. Hardwood floors throughout makes it a lively place. We went with salads -- all large and well prepared including Buffalo chicken and Cobb. Tons of beer on tap and the peach blonde ale complemented our dinner. One of my favorites is the Cobb salad. You must try a dessert if you come here; I recommend their signature dessert. Hands down one of the best restaurant breakfasts I've ever had. The Chorizo Tacos were stuffed with spicy chorizo, fluffy eggs with a unique sauce and roasted salsa. The hash browns were amazing, too. Schweety had the breakfast burrito which was HUGE and very tasty. The carnitas is what made this item special. Usually we like to share, but in this case, we both loved our entrees and didn't even offer each other a taste! Coffee was good as was the service. Would love to stop here for lunch and dinner, too. This proves my theory that every small town has one amazing restaurant. Look no further. It's lent, no meat, no problem. Basil got linguine alfredo with shrimp. It comes with a salad he chose Caesar and they dress it for you. I got the salmon cause there wasn't much left to choose from. Boy, did I get a surprise. Not only was it perfectly crisped and flaky, but the glaze, OMG. It was a mashed potatoes kind of day. I asked for butter, only to find melted butter throughout when I dipped my fork in. Tri-colored carrots, we both agreed these were the best we ever had and they were fork tender like I requested. I sampled the alfredo and it was perfect. I love the cozy, funky vibe. Our waitress, Sammi was very young, but knew her stuff. She didn't hesitate to suggest the salad over the soup since it was our first time there. I got a basic side with blue cheese dressing. I found the red peppers unusual, but I loved the carrot strips and tiny chopped red onions. All dressing are homemade. Basil said he was getting the toffee pudding cake whether I liked it or not. So I got a carrot cake to go. I wasn't gonna ruin the flavors in my mouth. Besides I was pretty stuffed. This unexpected gourmet meal put me in an instant good mood for the road home. read more

I had researched places to eat in Little Falls, and as soon as I stumbled on the Garlic Cheesy Burger, I knew it had to be. I was seated at a booth and received quick service. I looked through the menu curious what else was offered and was satisfied with the previous recommendation of the burger. I thought some of the entrees looked interesting but a bit overpriced. When my Garlic Cheesy Burger was delivered, the waitress asked if I'd had it before and advised to let it sit a moment so the garlic cheese wouldn't ooze out on the first bite. FAB advice. I took a moment to enjoy my wine and fries before diving in. Into heaven. She had mentioned that a gentleman once came in and ordered the burger, took two more up to his cabin, and on his return back towards the cities picked up a few more. I believe it. I dont think I've ever had garlic on a burger before! How? This is such a good combo, and then you add in the medium-bodied red wine..chef's kiss. Im kind of kicking myself for not ordering more burgers to go as well. I did order the creme brulee (a rarity as I almost never get dessert). A couple firm taps to the sugar crust on top and I was into the vanilla custard. If someone had asked me to share that dessert, we'd have ended up ordering two. This meal is well worth the drive from St. Cloud or the cities. Stop in for lunch, hit up a state park or two, and then head back for dinner. You won't regret it read more

I've been driving between St Paul, Duluth, Aitkin and now Little Falls this week...it's been long. Now that I'm done I look forward to a good, quality meal, even in the small northern MN towns. Well, this is one of those places. I arrived to a warm smile, and quick friendly service. Got a small table by the door, quickly cleaned and made available for me. They were out of the sour ale on tap, so I got a mango blonde ale, good temp and served as a proper pint to the rim. Next I ordered the clam chowder (New England style)...and it is wonderfully fresh, creamy and hot. Every bite had me sigh for another...it is worthy! The starter was served with a house made focaccia bread with a seasoned olive oil, and just a touch salty bring the olive oil and seasoning all together. The entree was the chefs choice on a Friday evening, a jerk seasoned sushi grade salmon from Scotland, served on a bed of coconut risotto and mango salsa. The jerk has some heat the goes for the back of the palette, isn't over powering but slowly lingers keeping you warm. The fish is moist, tender and cooked nicely. The coconut risotto is not sweet like you light expect, I was thinking along the line of a Thai coconut rice. This isn't that, the coconut is light, but in the background to lightly complement the salmon. The mango salsa rounds out the dish offering a cool note to the jerk spice. I wrapped up with a Redstone Meadery from Colorado, wonderfully cinnamon & vanilla spiced sweet mead. If you like a sweet wine like drink, and appreciate cinnamon, please try it. The house dessert seemed spectacular but I was full and had to pass. A frozen chocolate mouse, with chocolate ganache topped with raspberries and whipped cream. I'll have to try this next time. read more

Dude! Best sweet potato fries ever! I just don't throw stars around in my reviews, you're going to earn every one of them. Just passing through Little Falls on the way back from a week at the lake and the ten of us were hungry, 4 adults and 5 kiddos. Yeah, no reservation. Have to mention the help was great...sooo patient. We ordered some sandwiches, salads and pastas. Nothing was left on any of the plates. Delicious I guess. It's clean, there quick, the menu has enough choices but not overwhelming. They earned every star. Last words...wish it was in my town. read more
