Traveling through and had to check out this place!! It felt like walking back in time with the old-school bar stools and classic diner feel. Absolutely delicious!!! Biscuit & gravy with a side of stuffed hash browns... oh my!!! Service came with a smile and she was the best!! My husband and son had the bacon burger with crispy fries. West Side Cafe has some of the best food I have ever eaten in a restaurant. This is made from scratch, locally sourced and hand prepared. The soups are made on site. This is a small cafe with limited hours. Making an effort to get there is worth it. There are few restaurants that we return to. West Side Cafe is worth returning to. We stop here on a regular basis. I highly recommend eating here. read more

We were visiting the area from Indiana and what a great find! They have the best pancakes I've ever had. Perfectly fluffy, buttery & homemade syrup...yes please! Not to mention the stuffed hash browns! Amazing & perfectly done. I can't wait to visit again next summer! read more

This is a nice little, local, cafe that my husband I found on a drive through Little Falls. It is not very big inside, but delivers big on food. There were, maybe four booths, two large tables and an eat at counter. The service, with Nicole, was friendly and not hurried. I had eggs, sausage links and toast. I'm very picky about my eggs, the way my Dad cooked them, which was over HARD, not runny or soft. Many times I need to return, as not cooked that way, but Nicole made sure they were perfect. My husband had three large pieces of French toast and sausage patty; it was more than he could eat, but he loved them. We liked the cafe so well, that the next day on the way through, again, we made sure to return and were pleased, again, with our visit. I had the same breakfast and he did a burger, locally sourced and not frozen, and fries. We were the last customers, before closing and had a nice chat with the owner, Nicole's mother. I can highly recommend and we hope to return. read more

If you want incredible Pancakes and eggs (Bkfst) this is the spot. I'm not kidding! My kids are picky and these huge pancakes were the best all of us had tasted. Me, couldn't resist the bacon burger basket (yes they served it to me even though it was still bkfst time). Let me tell you the words can't describe how good the bacon and burger were! Great Ma and Pa place to get Breakfast. The prices are cheap and the food is great. I had bisects and gravy, which I though was beyond mouth watering. I think this will be my new place to go when I am in little falls. The reason that I would only give them 3/5, is because they only take check or cash. Plus I think that they could spend a little money on the inside to make it look nicer. It is like having a truck stop cafe' in the middle of town. read more

We were coming back from the Brainerd area hoping to find a breakfast place in Little Falls. We stopped at the west side café which advertised home cooking. We were pleasantly surprised. I ordered pancakes (2 large with home made syrup) with bacon and eggs over easy. My wife ordered scrambled eggs with hash browns. We split our meals and had a great breakfast! The server was delightful, the order was speedy, and the food was excellent! We now have a favorite place to go when traveling up north. read more

Stopped in for lunch on our way home from vacation, because of yelp review. We weren't disappointed. I had the 1/2 roast beef sandwich. My Uncle and I stopped in at this little mom & pop restaurant for Breakfast. They have like 15 tables to sit at and its seat yourself. I ordered the pancakes, eggs, bacon and coffee. What a huge meal. The 2 pancakes were like an inch thick with warmed syrup on the side. 4 slices of thick bacon and 2 eggs over medium. They even had Peanut Butter. I just had to ask for it. It all came on 2 plates. Yeah! Was it good? Absolutely. It was so good, I'd go out of my way to eat there again. read more
